I was fortunate to be her patient for over 20 years. Throughout those years, she consistently demonstrated what outstanding medical care should look like. She is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and genuinely compassionate. She always listened carefully to my concerns, paid close attention to every detail, and took the time to explain diagnoses and treatment options in a way that was easy to understand. I never felt rushed, and I always felt that she truly cared about my health and well-being. Finding a great physician is not easy, and since Dr. Lim left, I have not found another primary care doctor who provides the same level of trust, professionalism, and personal care. She set a very high standard. If Dr. Lim is still practicing medicine somewhere, I sincerely hope I can find her and become her patient again. She made a lasting difference in my life, and I will always be grateful for the exceptional care she provided over the past two decades. She has cared for me through some of the most complex phases of my life, including the last few years navigating perimenopause. When things felt confusing, inconsistent, and honestly overwhelming, she never reduced it to a checklist or a quick prescription. She listened. She connected patterns. She treated me like a whole person, not a set of symptoms. She made that level of trust clear very early. Within the first year of being under her care, I made sure my husband switched to her as his PCP too. That decision has held up for over a decade. What stands out is her clarity and her steadiness. She doesn't rush. She doesn't dismiss. She explains what's happening in a way that makes you feel informed and grounded, not anxious. There's a kind of quiet confidence in how she practices medicine that builds real trust over time. Fifteen years in, that trust is earned, not assumed. And it shows in every interaction. If you're looking for a doctor who will actually see you, stay with you through complexity, and bring both rigor and humanity to your care, Dr. L is exceptional. Some doctors treat. She understands.

Most doctors talk in a way that makes it seem like they are rushed and I sometimes leave realizing I forgot to ask an important question or have trouble remembering all the info since they shared it so quickly. Dr. L takes the time to understand your concern, really listens to you, answers questions, and makes sure you understand. She and her staff are very responsive via the online messaging system and there are often times where another doctor might have made me come in to bill for an appointment but she will give a quick recommendation or prescription based on our previous conversations and my message if it's not a big change. Obviously, not the case if it's something that would require seeing me or doing labs. When I go in to see her, she remembers details not just about me but my kids and asks how things that we discussed several months or a year ago are going. In this way, she's not just a great doctor, but a great human. I've been seeing her for 20+ years at this point, since before her previous clinic was bought by Sutter. I'll never have another PCP if until I have no choice (relocation or retirement). She's not always taking new patients but if you are lucky enough to stumble across her when she is, I would get on her roll as quickly as you can!
