The forms had 50+ typos and looked very unprofessional, the staff was not friendly and did not have the temperament you would expect of a pediatric services office, we waited 25 minutes before we left as it appeared they booked 4 different families for the 9am appointment slot, they only had 4-5 toys in the play area and they were all grimy. We will go elsewhere and if you have a toddler I recommend you do as well.

I mentioned to him that my gums had been bothering me ever since I had my wisdom teeth removed. Initially, he told me to just ignore it until it became unbearable. This year, the discomfort got worse, so I brought it up again. He referred me to McKinney Associates PIE. When I went there, they told me I had to get a 3D X-ray first--which my insurance doesn't cover--before the doctor could even examine my teeth. The X-ray came back normal. After the X-ray, the dentist began checking my teeth and found that one of my teeth was missing a portion, which is why my gums had been bothering me so badly. I was then told I needed to go back to Dr. Allen to have it fixed. How does that make sense? Shouldn't Melissa Dental have identified this issue before sending me somewhere else? And it didn't end there. I tried to make an appointment to fix the problem, but was told Dr. Allen wouldn't see me without a referral--from the very same specialist he had referred me to. He's my dentist, and I now need a referral to return to him? It's too much. I'm done with them--and so is my entire family.

The office staff needs more training in customer service as a few of the new staff are rude. The office is not open on weekends or after 4:30 pm, so we take time out of our busy schedules for our children. Please don't waste my time and then be rude about it! Possible solution: stop overbooking or understand the staff is not sticking to the time allotted per client & allow more time per appointment. Because making parents take time off work just to be stuck in the office for an extra 30 min every appointment is not good customer service.
