Just an update. Ann Miller is excellent. Recently my husbands doctor recommended hip replacement surgery. We called Ann to check what our out of pocket will be......$90.00!!!!!! Ann was incredibly rude to me on the phone. I tried to ask her a question about getting a problem corrected with my son's application. She kept interrupting me so that I could not complete my question. When I politely asked her to let me finish my question she continued interrupting me. She told me that she was talking over me because she was "multitasking" because she was "very busy." Then she sarcastically asked "Do you want me to help you or not?" I told her that I was busy too, that I was calling from work, and that I'd be happy to have her help me if I could just complete asking my question and have her stop interrupting. She became aggressive, and told me she was taking herself off my son's account, and that I'd have to call WA Healthplanfinder myself. Then she hung up on me! I never did get to ask her my question. I highly recommend Ann. I was referred to her office by another broker. It was around the Christmas holidays and I had missed an appointment and the referring broker, given the holidays, was unable to accommodate me for another appointment before the sign up expiration date. I had an added issue in that I was scheduled to leave the country on 12/31 so I gad an added time constraint. In contacting Ann and explaining that I would loose my employment medical coverage at the end of December. She immediately assuaged my calendar concerns given my particular status and had an extended deadline to work with. She scheduled me for two days before Christmas to come on in. The staff was friendly and Ann was great. Her knowledge and manner put me at ease given my unfamiliarity with the subjects of enrollment and supplemental choices for Medicare.
