I had 3 appointments there before moving out of Ann Arbor and have nothing but good things to say. Dr. Campbell is affable and has such a calming nature, which I sincerely appreciate since I am somewhat anxious about going to the dentist. Moreover, I like that they make their professional recommendations about additional, optional procedures/x-rays not covered by standard dental insurance without completely pressuring you into accepting them. The fact that they fully and patiently explain their recommendations and give you time to think it over after the appointment makes me feel as though they truly want to provide the best dental care, and not simply that they want to make you pay for expensive non-essential treatments. Finally, as a working professional, their early morning (7:00am) appointments were a lifesaver. If I hadn't moved out of Ann Arbor, I certainly would have remained a patient of their office well into the future.

However, I was taken by surprise today as fluoride is typically an option. They did not even ask if I wanted it. Maybe a slip of mind? I was then charged extra at the counter. They had done so in the past. I know times are tough but don't take it out on your customers. I won't be tripped up by this again.

I'm moving across the country in 6 months but I will remain a patient and schedule appointments when I visit friends/family in Ann Arbor because I love this establishment so much. One time I was having severe wisdom tooth pain that aches all day and made it impossible to eat. I thought it's because they were growing in too tight. Dr. Yilmaz was able to get me in immediately, diagnose it as a gum infection (which I would have never considered), cut, mold, and patch my gums on the spot, and prescribe me antibiotics that helped a ton.

Today I had some work done and one of the hygienists gave me my numbing shot and I barely felt it at all. Everyone here does great work. Grateful that my insurance is accepted here so it's also been affordable, too. Getting an appointment isn't too tough, though cleanings can be a few months out if you need to reschedule a standing date, but they also have a last minute appointment wait list and they can reach out to you via text, so getting something sooner isn't hard as long as you have some flexibility. While I have always found the front desk staff and dental hygienists incredibly friendly, the office business practices and my overall experience surrounding a dental crown left me unsatisfied with my care and a new anxiety around visiting the dentist. 1. Many people have mentioned their up front billing methods and constant attempts to upsell patients. While I cannot confirm that I was specifically overbilled for any procedure, I did feel like I constantly was having services pushed on me for extra fees. I also noticed at a certain point they stopped asking me about a flouride treatment that was an additional fee and just started completing the treatment and asking for payment. While this wasn't a massive strain on my finances at the time, it could really cause issues for patients who are on strict budgets from month to month. 2. I had a crown put on in March of 2021, in October of 2023 the crown fell out while on vacation out of state. I was able to book quickly to have the crown put back in but was frustrated with the brushing off my concerns around how quickly it seemed to have issues. When I returned for my normal cleaning a few months later I expressed my anxiety and fear of the crown falling out again and my concern about flossing around the crown pulling it out. I felt the doctor dismissed my concerns without any real empathy and I left the office without feeling at ease about this. 3. When I was without dental insurance for a time and was not able to afford a visit due to strained finances they did offer me their insurance plan which was more than the cost of the cleaning. I'm not sure why they thought I could afford that but not the cleaning. They continued to refer to this and all of their services as an "investment" which for me personally felt gross (though this could be a petty complaint on my end). I have since been able to return to my longtime dentist and am much happier. I do NOT recommend this office, but I do sincerely hope their services and practices improve for the sake of their patients and staff.

I don't know what that other reviewer was talking about because the front desk staff has always given me an estimate first, told me the total, billed my insurance and explained fees and costs before ANY treatment was ever done. Over the past 6 years I have had cleanings, bite guard made, needed an emergency root canal (broke an old filling), crown after the root canal and many more routine visits with the kids. All of these things were handled smoothly and I was pleased with how I was treated throughout these visits. I remember my first visit was longer due to the full work up of xrays and charting and photos- but after that it seems like we're usually in and out in about an hour or less.
