From the regular cleanings with the hygienists to getting work done with the drs (like filling replacements and crowns) it's all been very smooth and relatively painless! Today I had some work done and one of the hygienists gave me my numbing shot and I barely felt it at all. Everyone here does great work. Grateful that my insurance is accepted here so it's also been affordable, too. Getting an appointment isn't too tough, though cleanings can be a few months out if you need to reschedule a standing date, but they also have a last minute appointment wait list and they can reach out to you via text, so getting something sooner isn't hard as long as you have some flexibility. After not going to the dentist for many years (i.e., before 2020), I got a cleaning and fillings here. I have seen both Dr. Farah and Dr. Filipova. Both are great. After seeing her twice for fillings, I decided to switch to Dr. Filipova, because I like her gentle and thorough approach. She is very encouraging and easy to talk to, and would be a great match for someone who has anxiety about going to the dentist. Some of my fillings ended up needing refining (with an extra appointment) and they were able to get me in quickly. Staff on the phone and in person have also been very helpful, especially Ian. They will give you an itemized receipt for FSA / yearly health care cost documentation if you ask. Their office is also really nicely decorated and maintained. Details on filling type: they have done composite (aka acrylic and glass powder that is UV light cured), and not metal/mercury/amalgam fillings, These look natural, and last from 7 to 10 years -or more. I'm not sure if they offer other/ pricier types of fillings like gold or porcelain. As for insurance, they do take at least some levels of Delta Dental. I have not had any issues with billing so far with that insurance and this clinic. Tip: A few of the dentists with the most experience and seniority (such as Dr. Farah) are in the Delta dental "Premier" group of dentists. This means their fees (even with insurance) and the out of pocket/after insurance cost to you will be higher (versus someone who is not a Delta Dental "Premier" dentist). read more

Dr. Shamraj and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful! I am a Veteran with PTSD and over the past several years, any kind of dental work would cause me so much anxiety that my body would shake uncontrollably, even for a simple cleaning. However here at Enspire, they go above and beyond the call of duty; the entire staff is very courteous, professional and very helpful. They collectively are very skilled in each of their individual duties, but particularly in respect with Dr. Shamraj, I was incredibly impressed with his sage expertise, high level of compassion and the painless manner with which he treated me. And their staff made the visit as pleasant as can be expected at a dental clinic. It isn't hyperbole for me to state unequivocally that this is the best dental clinic I've ever been treated at, and I would strongly recommend that anyone who needs dental care come visit the amazing team at Enspire. I came in with a mouthful of pain and a brain full of anxiety, but they treated me holistically and I left their office without pain or anxiety! I took my 97 year old mother to Enspire last month. She was very apprehensive as she is nervous about medical appointments. Enspire did a terrific job in preparing her, talking to her and doing her exam. The staff was professional, friendly, and efficient. The offices are impressive with state-of-the-art equipment and furnishings. Our hygienist Helen was marvelous in working with my mother and deserves special mention. I love Enspire Dental! It's the nicest dentists' office I've ever been to! The staff is so friendly and helpful. My Dentist, Dr. Santine Harlock, works quickly and painlessly. She consistently provides the best dentist experience I've ever had, every time I visit. I'll continue to have my dental work done by Dr. Harlock. I have never waited long for my chair to be ready and right now, during reopening from COVID, they are having patients wait in their car to bypass the waiting room. They're communicating via a text system which is convenient for me. It was really easy, comfortable, and made me feel safe. I even enjoy my 6 month cleanings because all of their staff offer the same high level of care and attention that is provided by Dr. Harlock. They're excellent and so professional. Can you believe it? 5 Stars for a dentist office? Who knew!??! Enspire Dental is wonderful, they are always right on time for my cleanings. The facility is very modern and very clean. I actually have a permanent retainer that was done via their 6 Month Smile program. (Which is great HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and every once is a while ( as orthodontics do) I have an issue come up with it. They staff always gets me in same day to get it fixed! I am finally going to try their in office whitening, I will report back with an update. Excellent dentist office! I just moved to the area from Chicago and was looking for a new dentist. This place definitely delivered. The staff were incredibly friendly from beginning to end (the front desk, the hygienist, and my dentist!). Everyone was wearing face masks AND shields, and they made sure all of the patients were wearing masks and stayed as far apart as possible in common areas like the waiting room and hallway. At the end of my appointment (a routine cleaning), they gave me travel sized toothpaste, toothbrush; and a handy little Container/storage thingy with their logo. Cute! read more

Super friendly, kind, and helpful staff. Santine has been great, did my filling in like 15 minutes (numbing took 20) and is nice to chat too. Other hygienists are welcoming, professional, and friendly. I moved to Ann Arbor in 2013 & I found Dr. Brown by passing by the office. She did have some not so good reviews here & there online about her billing dept. that they steal money or over charge. I didn't care much cus I have good teeth & I needed her for cleaning only. To make a very long story: I needed to replace an old crown that "looked" perfectly fine but because of severe sensitivity to hot/cold. Since I have pretty good teeth & that was my only crown I ever had, I was a bit scared to replace it. Dr.B assured me this is very simple & provided me the cost of $400 my out of pocket & the rest my insurance will pay. In Jan. 2015 I got the new crown, the severe pain of the sensitivity got even worse & I also had lots of pain. After going to her 4 times she told me to see a Endodontist. The Endodontist was shocked to know that a severe sensitive tooth is a clear sign of a needed "root canal"! I paid $1200 for root canal now. Went back to Dr.B for a filler for the hole on my brand new crown. The sensitivity was gone, what a relief. But the pain of chewing or eating anything continued. I have had MouthGuard/NightGuard since I was 21 cus I grind my teeth. Since it is too time consuming for doctors to "adjust" the mouthguard, they normally make a new one in their office. A few month earlier I had my mouthguard from another local Dr. Because I asked Dr.B how much they charge & she said $480, when I found out other doctors charge about $240, I called & e-mailed Dr.B's office & I asked if they match that, I was told no. Now Dr.B promised me to make me a new one at no cost. I was happy. So they took my old mouthguard, made new impression................to make the long story short, I went to their office SIX times for impressions & the mouth guard came out either so small that I did not even go into my teeth or too loose that came off. Even the hygienists were embarrassed by their technicians incompetency. My pain of not being able to eat anything with my left side continued, no luck with the mouthguard & to make the matter worse, I got a invoice for $83! I called & e-mailed their billing manager Barb & she said I have to pay that. I asked her to tell me exactly for what. She said she will look into it & call me back. A couple days later she called back & apologized & said it was "an accounting error" on their part & my balance is ZERO. On March 27 (over 2 month after my crown was put in) I went to get hopefully the right night guard AND my continued pain. The night guard was too tight, could not get it in. And Dr.B said she is sorry for the pain I go through but there is nothing else she can do & she said (& sent an e-mail) I can go to another doctor to get a mouthguard at HER COST cus she has no idea why this is happening. That day, as soon as I was in the waiting room to get my coat, I was in tears & the front desk ladies were asking if I'm OK. That was the last time I ever went back. Now my husband had moved to Chicago area in the January & we were to move in the summer, Dr.B knew about our move. After we moved, I went to a couple dentists for 2nd opinion & they said they don't know what Dr.B has done & on the surface nothing shows & I need to RE-DO!!!! I asked my new dentist to give me an estimate for a new mouth guard so I fax that to Dr.B since she is the one who supposed to pay for it. The cost was $215 To my shock Dr.B e-mailed me back & said she never agreed to pay for this "type" of mouthguard & I need to forget it. She said in her office they charge only $170 for upper/lower!!! (THAT WAS A LIE, I have their e-mail saying they charge $480) Then Dr.B sent me that invoice of $84 AGAIN after one year. I called them back & said this invoice is "an accounting error" by your part according to YOUR BILLING MANAGER one year earlier. She said no & I need to pay it. I went through my last year billing & with the help of my old insurance company, came up with the fact that THEY OWE me $23!!!! But last week I got a check from Dr.B for the amount of $2.60......it's just comical. Now, they took my $240 mouth guard, they could never make me one, they never paid for it as she the doctor promised me in writing & verbally. And a $400 crown turned into $2000 & pain/suffering & their unprofessional attitude. My advice: STAY AWAY from this incompetent doctor & WATCH THEIR BILLING DEPARTMENT, KEEP YOUR CREDIT CARD record & ALWAYS ASK FOR A PROOF!!! Many times they charged me double AFTER my insurance had already paid them, they double charge, they send confusing bills, call your insurance EVERY TIME they ask you to pay. THEY LIE! They wanted $394 for my daughters sealant & they kept asking for it EVERY time I went there & sent me bills after bills & kept telling them MY INSURANCE ALREADY PAID YOU, they said, well we never received! THEY just LIED. Even for "teeth whitening" 6 month later told me I never fully paid, until I showed them MY CREDIT CARD record, then they backed off!!! BE AWARE!!! read more

I seriously don't think I have room here to write all the nice things I have to say about Enspire, Dr. Brown, and her whole team. I have had all kinds of dental experiences that make it a pretty unpleasant thing for me - most recently an incorrect filling done by someone else. I found Enspire on Yelp to fix said filling, and the difference in how they treat their patients and quality of work is ASTOUNDING. They are fixing all my current issues for me and doing so in a comfortable setting. I was wrapped up in a blanket today for my fillings and the whole staff was just so sweet and comforting the entire time. My teeth aren't even sore and compared to my experience elsewhere, that is a huge win. I have felt heard, listened to, and well cared-for from the first day I switched to Dr. Brown at Enspire and I couldn't recommend this place enough. Seriously the best. read more

Dr. Sabiha Bunek is the dentist I see however so far I love everyone there that I've met. Very classy, up to date on technology dentist office. I'm very impressed with the service. I came here with a serious dental issue from another office. Where other dentists have shied away and don't want to tackle another's mess, Dr. Bunek dove in head first, assuring me that everything will work out fine. When I made my first appointment, I was clear that I did not want periodontal measurements or treatment. I was told that my wishes would be honored and respected. At my appointment, the dentist said that if I wasn't open to discussing my periodontal health, she wasn't comfortable seeing me. This was after I drove 50 minutes to get there. What I was told by the dentist, contradicts what I was told over the phone. I will never go to a dentist that wants to dictate my treatment. My health is my responsibility and my choice, not theirs. read more

I'm writing this review because the office staff did not seem to care when I had a complaint about the billing (and I rarely complain about the billing especially when it is done correctly). we were told we wouldn't be charged for a filling, yet we received a bill where the staff told me they will be processing it through insurance. So they said never mind forget the bill. What? Okay... Then the receptionist proceeds to tell me we have a balance for an X-ray not authorized by my husband. He came in for a follow up appointment for pain resulting from a filling that Dr. Bunek did, and they went ahead and did an X-ray to check for an infection and charged him. First, he didn't authorize the X-ray. Second, is the X-ray standard of care? From my understanding from other dentists, you can feel pain from a filling up to several weeks and it will self resolve. The X-ray was unnecessary. I also don't like the fact that every time my husband comes in to get a filling, they find more fillings to replace. At his last visit, they recommended another filling. They found seven fillings to replace within the span of a few months. Why can't they find all the fillings to replace in one visit and make their recommendations, then we can discuss whether or not we want to spend hundreds of dollars for these optional fillings. Rather than ask if the patient wants a filling done while his mouth is open and he seems to have no choice but to get it done right there and then. Anyway, I used to like the office, the hygienists and the dentists, despite it being out of our network. The office is clean, professional (excluding those who deal with billing), and friendly. But this unfortunate experience has pushed us to look somewhere else for a new dentist. And while I relayed this to the front desk, they could only apologize stoically and not offer a solution. read more

Dr. Harlock is the best, I can't say enough positive about her. I had been to 2 previous dentists to include Dr. Shiva Rad DDS, who did a root canal. Because of her incompetence I was refunded money from Delta Dental for thShe also was unable to master the simple concept of local anesthesia. Progressive dental would sell you swamp land in Fl. If you would pay for it. The reason I mention this is to explain why I was extremely skeptical of Dentists and put off as long as possible returning for much needed extensive dental work. I was given a recommendation regarding Enspire Dental and could not be happier. Dr.Harlock really cares and is highly competent. She explains everything as she goes and takes the time to answer all questions. She is extremely gentle and when I was given the local anesthetic, it is the first time I have not felt pain. Her Dental assistants are also the best and they operate as a well oiled machine. I had 3 crowns placed painlessly and without difficulty. She gave me her cell # to call if there were any problems. I didn't have a need to call but she called to check on me, unbelievable. She is so positive, and loves her job which comes out in all she does. I can say, I almost look forward to go to the dentist,(almost). I have never written a review before but as you can see I can't say enough about Dr. Harlock. read more

I went here for over 15 years. At some point the front desk started giving me problems. It actually took them close to 2 years to refund money they forced me to pay even though I had insurance. I went for a regular cleaning and usually had to pay about 25 bucks because my insurance didn't cover all there charges and they are pricey. Granted its a good dentist so I didn't mind. But the last time I went they made me pay 65 bucks on the spot. I told them I usually pay about 25 and asked if they could bill me once they insurance claim was made. They front desk said no. I charged the money and have not been back. I found a nice dentist Patricia Lebreck who is great and doesn't charge me extra. Funny thing is about month ago I got a check for 65 bucks with stickie note saying sorry but our audit discovered we owed you this money. Anyway I like Dr. Farah and his staff. Top notch professional. However, as a long time customer, since I was about 15 or so, I felt I was treated rudely by receptionist staff, and apparently it took two years to make it right. read more

I have been going here for 20 years, since I was a student in Ann Arbor. I moved away from Ann Arbor 18 years ago, but continue to make the 45 minute drive back and I now bring my kids here. Dr Farah is kind and gentle. The other doctors I have seen there are also very approachable and pleasant. I have seen most of the hygienists and not only do they do a fabulous cleaning, they are also patient and positive with children and pleasant to talk to. True professionals. At one time my insurance changed and I briefly saw a different dentist to save some money. At my then-4-year old's first cleaning at the new dentist, I was told she had 7 cavities and needed 4 teeth pulled, which would cost $150. I couldn't believe it, so I took my daughter back to Enspire for a second opinion. Dr Brown informed me that my daughter had zero cavities and needed zero teeth pulled. Needless to say, I was back at Enspire despite the higher cost. You sometimes have to pay for quality care. I trust them and that's worth more than saving a few bucks. read more

I had a dental emergency today and this place was recommended by a coworker. I can not say enough good things about it! Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing do to, everyone treated me wonderfully from the moment I walked in and out of the door. I really liked my former dentist but after going here I realize this group of people is on top of their game. The facility is beautiful, but it is the staff that sets this place apart. The are kind, gentle, very very knowledgable, organized and fun! Everything here is state of the art. What I really appreciate is the time they took to educate me.
