I wish I can keep this gem all to myself but then I thought why not share the love and promote supporting local businesses such as this massage place. Don't be misled by the current storefront name "Moonlight Spa." It's legit and no-nonsense spa that really does the service impeccably and the place immaculate. Front-desk: Cindy or Jordan in the front does not push for services. I personally love the hospitality and no frills kind of welcome I get and the nice gesture of their offering of room temp Poland Spring water post-massage. It's no Pelligrino but hey in Asian culture you should not shock your system with cold water especially after a massage. Massage: I like the deep and hard tissue massage thrice in this place so far usually by older women and they are strong and know where to dig through your knots. Being in a cavewoman posture and hands tingling pins and needles from my "desk" job, I find relief with their technique -- it's like they know where to ease the pain and address my pressure points. All in all I feel like a pretzel from the massage and I sleep like a baby that night afterwards. Of course, you can request them to go deep or go light with the massage! I find them very attentive. After the pandemic, I understand that prices needed to increase, but they kept going up steadily, making it less feasible for me to visit as often. Recently, I decided to return because I had a membership card for a free massage. However, after the session, they refused to honor the card, saying it was "too old" and that it belonged to the "previous owner." I found this confusing, as the membership card had the same name, address, and phone number as the current business. To add to the frustration, they giggled while explaining why my fully stamped membership card wasn't valid. It felt like this was more important to them than retaining me as a loyal customer. I still tipped my masseuse $20 because she did a fantastic job, but unfortunately, this will be my last visit. I'm disappointed that they prioritized invalidating an old membership card over keeping a returning customer.
