I got a 60minute message for $40 or whatever it was, listed the prices in the pic attached. My fiancé and I did a couples one. They show you to the room. The place is dim and there's not really any decor but it's clean and the people are nice. They sat us in the room and told us someone will be in. They didn't tell us what kind of message we were getting or how to undress like to what level lol But then the ladies came in and were surprised to find us just chillin on the tables fully clothed so they told us undress to just our underwear and lay face down on the tables- got it! Then for real, this chick got every inch of me like from finger tips to toes. She walked on my back, used hot stones, some heating pad things, really got in there. She constantly checked in and made sure she wasn't going to hard or hurting me. ---But there was never any sort of "is there any part you'd like me to focus on" or "do you have any back issues" that kinda thing so just tell them before hand! Don't be afraid to ask for a specific area if you need them to focus on it (neck, shoulder, arms, etc.) Yes, they will demand a 30% tip. No, I will not give it as 20% is more than enough. (She wanted a $15 tip on $50 service). The owner/front desk lady has some funky tip math, just ignore her and say all you are giving is 20% as that is the norm. She will throw your money to the side in disgust, just smile and say thank you. Yes, the lady at the front has a shit attitude but hey for the price it's worth it! The bed sheet they give is really small (I think they have cut it with scissors) and the opening for when you put your head down is really small. GREAT MASSAGE!! So I bought a 60 min massage on Groupon a year ago and finally redeemed it and omg.. I died. It was a fantastic massage.. the woman did really great and at one point was straddling my back rubbing out the knots in my shoulders with her elbows. It was much needed and I'm glad I went here. The only not so good thing I have to say is there's no parking lot (meters are free after 6pm so I wasted $1.25 lol but whatever) , I had to wait 15 mins for my appointment and also another woman came in the room while I was laying on my back and bc of the dim lighting in the room, the light from outside was very bright and kind of took me out of my zen for a minute. I am pretty sure if I could give this place negative stars I would. My mom decided to surprise me when I came to town to visit and she got us Groupons to get massages at Eden Spa. When she called to confirm the appointment they reminded her that you have to tip on the full amount not the Groupon amount which felt icky, but like fine I could get that being an issue. My problems with the place are as follows: 1. My mom booked two massages (not a couples massage) when we got there they told us we were in the same room. Fine. Except they did this clearly so the women giving us the massage could talk to each other. They talked so much my mom had to ask them to be quiet. 2. My table was a little too close to the wall for the woman to walk around, which she could have asked me to get up and move the table, instead she was dragging the table around during the massage which was only slightly jarring. 3. I am all for sanitation but there was no hole for my mouth on the thing covering the pillow which made it hard to breathe and left my face covered with pieces of the paper. 4. The woman only massaged one of my legs. I am still not sure why. 5. The woman giving me the massage sneezed. Multiple times. Sneezes happen, it's cold season. I am sorry she felt sick, but FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS SANITARY PLEASE GO WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE TOUCHING ME AGAIN. She may have sneezed into her sleeve, that's true, but like for the rest of the massage, I was convinced she was rubbing me with snot. I've been to this place quite a few times and the price for the massage was doable but they DEMAND TIP. In the beginning I was caught off guard and so I just gave it to them and then every time I go back they demand more and more. I tried to tip 25% at first and they wouldn't accept it so I gave them 35% and they were ok with the 35% for the next few times and then when I went back again they kept asking for more. Prices are super low, but the trade off is they expect a big tip. This is typical at Asian massage places e.g. a $20 massage they expect $10, for a $30 massage they'll likely want close to $15 etc. the price is still reasonable but why they don't communicate suggested tips up front to avoid the awkward conversation is beyond me.
