Spent 70$ correction 80! on this trench coat to be dry cleaned - was not aware nor understood this price was not charged this before for it to not be cleaned and was so shocked by the price I left and then found out stained right on the front. Worst Alteration Experience. Brought in suit pants for alterations and a suit dry clean--pants came back an inch too long. She demanded I return the same day for her to verify or she wouldn't fix them for free, so I had to return. I needed the suit for a wedding that weekend, so she told me to come back after the wedding. On my re-return, she wasted 30 minutes re-measuring, still couldn't figure out the correct length, and kept asking me for advice--despite me telling her I'm not a tailor. She then kept my pants for two weeks without calling. When I finally reached her, she said she'd give me a full refund and not do the work. But when I came to pick up the pants, she tried to short me on my refund twice and yelled when I corrected her--then told me I'd "wasted her time" after I had already spent $110. My experience with Anjali Dry Cleaners was genuinely terrible. They damaged my brand-new jeans, overcharged me, and showed zero professionalism throughout the entire process. The owner admitted she charged me an extra $16 because she looked at someone else's receipt by mistake -- yet she still hasn't refunded me. They also went ahead and did work I never authorized. I asked for one pant leg to be hemmed; they hemmed both and charged me for it. No prices or quotes were given for anything, and I was suddenly handed a bill for *101 for services I never agreed. When I tried to resolve the situation, instead of taking responsibility, I received a rude, dismissive call from the owner's husband, who blamed the damage on "cheap dye" rather than acknowledging their mistake. Unfortunately, my experience proved the opposite. I brought in a pair of white cotton men's pants with very clear instructions: clean and press with no creases. They came back with strange side creases that didn't even align with the seams--something that looked sloppy and downright bizarre. When I explained that men's pants are traditionally creased down the front and back, the co-owner, Sim, argued with me, insisted this was "standard for cotton pants," and reluctantly agreed to redo them. Two weeks later, I returned only to find the pants shoved to the side, still tagged "no crease," still with the same incorrect creases, and clearly untouched. Sim was adamant her cleaning service couldn't (or wouldn't) do better. In a high-end area like Brickell, where busy professionals expect basic standards of quality, this is simply unacceptable. Many competing dry cleaners not only deliver but also get the details right. I gave Anjali a chance because I wanted to support a local family operation, but after this careless service and dismissive attitude, I have no choice but to take my business elsewhere. read more

Used them several times for simple items and was always charged a lot but didn't mind. Now after a bigger dry clean order, I will not be returning to use them. I had to insist they redid my clothes to remove stains. They blamed me for the stains being stubborn. But of course on the second try, the stains were gone. It took a whole week longer than I was originally told to receive the poorly dry cleaned clothes. I was then harassed by the owners husband that I'm a "know it all" and that they needed a five star review for their efforts (they took twice as long as advertised and got my clothes to me in the lastttttt minute I could retrieve them.) The WORST customer treatment i have ever experienced, and i was accused of being a Liar it is so unacceptable, i dont have words to describe how upset i am. i been going to this location for 3 years now, they know me very well as a loyal customer, i even used their alterations service. overall been happy, until now i picked up a few mens skirt i had dropped off, and when i removed the plastics cover at home i saw that one shirt had discoloration all over ( it used to be dark blue color) i decided i will bring it with me and show them next time i will be at the Anjali Dry Cleaners. ( i did not call right away because i thought i could better explain in person, and they can see what happened and why it even happened in the first place) it is not an expensive shirt (Thank God because its all ruined now) so my goal was not even get a refund or money for the shirt, i just wanted to understand why this happened and maybe be more careful next time BUT the second i showed the shirt, the lady who works there and knows me so well said "we did not do this, no way, this is not from us, we have been in business for 37 years, we never ruined a shirt, you did this, not us" I was speechless, because why would i make something like this up. with all the money spent here... all i wanted was a little but of understanding, maybe a sorry, lets make sure it does not happen again , maybe some sort of resolution etc. etc. but what i got was this angry woman, accusing me of making it up ! I asked her, i said are you saying that i am lying? she said that yes i was LYING and that's the end of it for me. I had never worn this dress out, but I accidentally spilled a tiny bit of liquid on it when I tried it on. I brought it into this dry cleaners with only that minor stain and got it back with more stains and it was even damaged. It was already an expensive cleaning for one dress and when I pointed out the stains and damage to the women she began to tell me that she couldn't see anything and that I didn't know anything about dry cleaning. I told her it was an expensive bridesmaids dress for my best friend's wedding and then she began to tell me she should have charged me even more then!!!! I told her I was not satisfied with the cleaning and didn't want to pay full price considering it was damaged with stains and she then threatened to call to police! I'm traveling and was looking for wash and fold service with quick turnaround. Yesterday I visited this location and asked if I could get back the next morning. I was quoted a premium $3 per pound and told I could pick up first thing the next morning- 9am open. Perfect, I thanked the lady and said I'd be back at open the next day. 9am today and this location was pitch black and locked. Around 9:15 the owner finally arrived and was unapologetic. Not a big deal if that was the only issue. The poundage was not labeled by the service the cleaners use, so the business owner called the service to get the number. After 3 attempts and no answers, I told the lady I really need to get going. "Okay we will call it $45," she said. I laughed and said this is absolutely not 15 pounds of clothes, probably like 7 pounds. I asked her to charge me $21...she laughed back similarly. I was then told to pay $35. I explained that this was absolutely no more than 10 pounds and she could take $30, but no more. She reluctantly took my card and charged $30. At that stage she was yelling and we were both accusing the other of attempting to scan. I then took the clothes to the local gym and weighed (pic attached)- 6.4 pounds... thats $21 tops with some aggressive rounding. Congrats to this lady on ripping me off ~$10. Lucky she did not get the $45 she originally sought. On the way out, she told me to never come back. Darn, next time I want to be ripped off I guess I'll have to go elsewhere read more

Items haven't been ready in time, the owner is unapologetic, and she charged $49.99 for a basic wool coat to be dry cleaned, insisting that it was a standard price (the coat itself cost $150, it was not a thick coat). Prices are $5.00 per shirt and $6.00 if it is hand pressed (I was not told it would be hand pressed nor did I request). A suit will run you $29.99 minimum. I have been a customer for over 1 1/2 years and because I'm a Panorama resident, I have no choice but the dry cleaners downstairs. However, the owner's wife has always been very loud and very defensive when I comment on high prices and unfollowed instructions on certain items. I took 6 pants for alterations and the lady quoted me $25 each. I agreed to have a sample done to see if I was satisfied. I paid for it and left the other five. Four days later the lady called and said that she had made a mistake and that the new price would now be $40 each. I told her that wasn't the deal and told me if I didn't like it to come picked the up. I really needed the service so I agreed with I the price. I tried to pick up the order on Saturday and they were closed, I went by on Monday and they were closed. Finally I went today (Wednesday) and as soon as I walked in, the lady told me that I always argued because of the price. She told me to go somewhere else next time.
