Dr. Kim's work immediately stood out to me, and at one point I realized that almost all of my inspiration photos were actually from his Instagram. That was when I knew it made more sense to travel to the surgeon whose work already matched exactly what I wanted. I started with an online consultation, then traveled for an in-person consultation, and eventually had surgery with him. From start to finish, Dr. Kim was absolutely fantastic. I had a very specific vision in my head: I wanted a fuller chest that still looked natural on my frame and could almost feel modest at the same time. I was very nervous about ending up too large or looking overly augmented, and he understood exactly what I meant. I am now 10 months post-op and I genuinely could not be happier. He got what I wanted to a T. The size, shape, and overall look feel completely right for me, and I'm so grateful I trusted his judgment. One of the things that made the experience especially reassuring as an out-of-town patient was how personally involved he is in the entire process. He handles everything from beginning to end, and he is the person I communicate with directly. He provides his phone number and email, answers questions incredibly quickly, and continues to follow up with me regularly even this far out from surgery. I never felt like I was being passed around or forgotten once the procedure was over. I trust Dr. Kim and his work completely. Traveling from Las Vegas required extra time, planning, and money, but I do not regret any of it. It was worth every single cent to go to the surgeon whose aesthetic I trusted and who made me feel taken care of throughout the entire process.

I was really terrified all my life of plastic surgery and when I was researching doctors it was…read moreeven worse because every time I spoke to an office I always felt like an agenda was being pushed or these crazy unbelievable results were being heavily pushed towards me. Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. Thank you Dr Kim and team :')

After being a mom and breastfeeding, my breasts were extremely saggy, deflated, and I had basically zero confidence left in my body. I would avoid certain clothes, zero confidence in the bedroom, feel uncomfortable getting dressed, and just didn't feel like myself anymore. Deciding to get a breast augmentation with lift was a big step for me, but WOW -- it completely changed my life!!!! Dr. Neusner is absolutely AMAZING. Not only is he incredibly skilled and talented, but he's also kind, patient, and truly cares about his patients!! He listened to everything I wanted and somehow gave me results even better than I imagined! My breasts are now full, big, round, and so perky -- I literally can't believe they're mine. They look youthful and beautiful again, and my confidence has skyrocketed!!! I also have to praise the staff because they were just as wonderful. Everyone was so warm, supportive, and professional from start to finish. They made me feel comfortable every step of the way, answered all my questions, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Another thing I'm blown away by is how AMAZING my scars healed. I was so nervous about that, but they are minimal and healing beautifully. You can truly tell Dr. Neusner knows exactly what he's doing. The surgery itself went so smoothly, and recovery was easier than I expected. If you're a mom who feels like you lost your body after breastfeeding, I promise you -- Dr. Neusner is the one to trust!!! I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I wanted to share my experience because I know how…read morestressful it is choosing a plastic surgeon, and I hope this helps someone else. From the moment I arrived, the entire consultation felt surprisingly impersonal. Most of my appointment was spent with very young staff members rather than the surgeon himself. By the time I actually met with Dr. Barrett, it was only for about five minutes. He was pleasant and professional, but the entire experience felt rushed and transactional. I left almost feeling like it was a fever dream, it was over so quickly that I walked away confused instead of confident. The biggest disappointment was being told that the only way I would have a good breast augmentation result was with a lollipop lift and implants. I wasn't told this as an option it was presented as essentially the only option that would look good for my anatomy. I left feeling discouraged and thinking I didn't really have a choice. Thankfully, I listened to my gut and scheduled consultations with other highly respected, board-certified plastic surgeons. Every other surgeon had a different perspective. I ultimately chose another extremely reputable surgeon who recommended Motiva Ergonomix implants placed over the muscle (subfascial). He explained that because I had only mild pseudo-ptosis, the implant itself would provide the subtle lift and upper-pole fullness I was looking for without requiring a lollipop lift. I'm now on the other side of surgery, and I could not be happier with my results. I got exactly the look I wanted, avoided unnecessary scars, and didn't need the more invasive procedure I had been told was my only option. To be clear, I don't think Dr. Barrett was unkind. He was nice during the brief time we spoke. My issue was that the consultation felt rushed, impersonal, and left me feeling defeated rather than educated. Looking back, I'm so grateful I sought additional opinions before making such an important decision. My biggest advice to anyone considering cosmetic surgery is this: please get multiple consultations. One surgeon's opinion is not always the only answer. I'm incredibly thankful I kept looking because I'm absolutely thrilled with the surgeon I chose and my results.

I thought to myself how could I be nervous when this is just a normal Monday for them. You can tell they love being in the OR. I can't wait to see the 3 month post op results. The anesthesiologist told me he was going to give me something to relax then what felt like a few seconds they were waking me up to tell me I was in recovery and the surgery went well! Go figure! I had a tummy tuck, breast lift, breast augmentation, arm and flank lipo. Daria recommended I stay at an aftercare facility for two nights and I am so glad I did. That played a huge role for having such a speedy recovery. I was able to start walking on day two. I also elected for 2 hyperbaric oxygen sessions. Out of all the procedures I would say the breast augmentation was the most challenging because I'm still a little sore. The tummy tuck is a breeze especially if you've had a C section. I hold a higher standard for physicians/surgeons in general because I am a practicing physician. With this in mind I can honestly say that I am beyond impressed by both Dr. Patel and her staff and I want others to have this positive image experience that I came away with. Because of my long work hours I had started noticing some volume loss in areas of my face that seemed to be adding years to my age. I am not quite ready for a surgical procedure, however I needed a tune-up! In the past I have had some fillers, botox and laser with other physicians. However, many times I felt like the my overall image concerns were not being addressed. I certainly did not want to look like one of these plastic LA types, I wanted to look like a well educated, respectable physician...who had come off a two week beach vacation ;) Basically I want to look a very well rested version of myself. Dr. Patel took the time and addressed each of my concerns, we talked about both a short term and a long term plan. Ultimately, together we came up with a plan that I felt very comfortable with. I have to say that I have noticed that many doctors in the Plastic Surgery field in LA are solely focused on marketing themselves, creating the image that they are skilled...Dr. Patel doesn't need to rely on these smoke and mirror social media marketing schemes. She doesn't need these gimmicks because she is reliant on her actual talent and skill. She is a perfectionist and has an eye for creating a natural beautiful image. She is one of the few board certified plastic physicians in Beverly Hills. Patients need to realize that many of the plastic surgeons try to create the illusion that they are board certified, using other terms, etc, but actually board certification is very difficult to achieve. Read the fine print my friends!! Finally, I need to say that I felt that she was genuinely interested in creating a longer lasting patient physician working relationship, not being some sort of drive by botox/filler physician... I hold a high standard, but, lets just say Dr. Patel, holds a higher standard. I literally had tears of happiness after my procedure because I was so happy with the results, I think I may have even hugged Dr. Patel a little too hard in the enthusiasm ;). I guess she better get used to it, because I plan on coming back whenever I need a tune up!! read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Anita Patel's office for Morpheus8 and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Carlie and Gia who made sure to make me feel comfortable. First I met with Dr. Patel and she took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions. She made me feel at ease throughout the entire visit and I felt well-informed about my procedure. My procedure was administered by nurse Vita and consisted of Morpheus8 to my neck and face. What impressed me most about Nurse Vita was her attention to detail and how she carefully proceeded and kept me informed of every step. It is very important to me to have a plastic surgeon and a nurse explain everything in a clear and concise manner, so I felt well-informed and knew I made the right choice choosing nurse Vita to do my first Morpheus8 procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Patel and nurse Vita to anyone in need of non-surgical and surgical procedures. Dr. Anita Patel has made this entire process feel easy, exciting, and genuinely supportive from the very beginning. After losing a significant amount of weight (175lb+), I decided to move forward with surgery (belt lipectomy and monsplasty) because I wanted my body to feel more functional, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing -- especially addressing issues like chronic irritation and recurrent yeast infections. I have my surgery scheduled for mid-June, and I honestly could not be more excited. What has stood out most to me is how much time Dr. Patel spends with her patients. She never rushes appointments, thoroughly explains everything, answers every question, and makes you feel truly heard and cared for. I never feel like "just another patient." Her office is also incredible! The staff is kind, responsive, and always available (even after hours when I've had questions or concerns). That level of support has made such a difference in helping me feel calm and confident going into surgery. I feel extremely comfortable in her care and genuinely trust her. Dr. Patel understands symmetry and proportion, and she shows just what slight touch up her patients need to enhance the features they already have. She pushes nothing and is conservative in her recommendations of what her patients need (as opposed to what they think they want). I went to see two other doctors and wasn't happy, until I met Dr. Patel and her amazing staff. The first day I met them I knew I wanted her to be the one to do my surgery for me. Everyone was fantastic from Dr. Patel's staff to the serenity after care. I feel my head is on a different body. Now all I need is my thigh lift and my breast augmentation. read more

Having a skincare office right next to Dr. Patel's suite for over a year makes me very lucky. She is a very wonderful and beautiful person. Very kind and positive. The office has a great relaxing beautiful atmosphere (my favorite purple colors). I had a few treatments for skin tightening, lasers, botox, and fillers ALL IN MODERATION. I am overwhelmed by the compliments I'm getting from my clients. I am very busy and it makes me feel very good. read more

I later learned after having several consults with other plastic surgeons that she really doesn't have the experience and proper technique in order to have a good result. I'm officially one year post-op after having a tummy tuck with muscle repair, abdominal…read moreliposuction, chin liposuction, breast reduction, and breast lift with Dr. Kalaria. Overall, I'm okay with my results. I certainly wasn't expecting perfection and understand that no surgical result will be perfect. I'm sharing these details simply to be transparent about my experience and results: my areolas are not aligned or the same size (I also had an issue with tape being left on too long and damaging my skin), one breast is larger than the other, and the fat along the side of my breasts/underarm area was not treated. My biggest advice if you choose this practice: GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING and be very specific about exactly what areas are being treated. During my consultation, Dr. Kalaria and I discussed the fat along the sides of my breasts. She physically pointed to/touched the area while discussing what would be addressed. As a patient with no plastic surgery expertise, I didn't know this was technically considered a separate area from the breast that needed to be separately identified and priced. I had a similar issue with the abdominal liposuction. It was not made clear to me that only a specific portion of my abdomen would be liposuctioned. I understood I was having abdominal liposuction with my tummy tuck and didn't realize other areas of my abdomen were excluded. These distinctions may be obvious to a plastic surgeon, but they aren't necessarily obvious to a patient. I was very upfront that I was relying on the professionals to educate and guide me rather than trying to become an expert in plastic surgery myself. I'm a lawyer, and just as my clients rely on me to explain things they wouldn't necessarily know to ask about, I relied on my surgeon to do the same. Unfortunately, my quote was fairly high-level. Even the muscle repair we had discussed wasn't specifically listed, so I asked and was told it was included. I therefore assumed the side breast/underarm area we discussed was similarly part of my breast work and didn't understand that "abdominal liposuction" referred only to a limited area. Had these distinctions been clearly explained, I could have made an informed decision about adding and paying for the additional areas. Cost was never the issue. Even assuming, for the sake of argument, that the side breast/underarm area had not been specifically discussed, I believe it should have been brought to my attention. It is immediately adjacent to the breast area we were addressing and was something I would have wanted treated. I relied on my surgeon not only to answer questions I knew to ask, but also to flag relevant considerations I might not know enough to ask about. Had I been told, "That area is separate and requires additional liposuction," I would have made clear that I wanted it included. What bothered me most was how the issue was handled afterward. When I asked about the area post-op, I was told it was considered the underarm, not the breast. I later emailed after reviewing my notes, and the response was essentially that we had never discussed the area and I hadn't paid for it. Again, the money wasn't the issue. My concern was being told the conversation hadn't happened when my notes reflected that it had. Even if the office had no record of the discussion, I would have appreciated something as simple as, "We don't have this documented, but we're sorry there was a misunderstanding." Instead, I felt my recollection was being dismissed, which ultimately damaged my trust in the practice. I also found that some questions toward the end of the process or after surgery were met with responses along the lines of, "We're not at that point yet; I'll explain it later." As a patient, I don't know what I don't know. If I'm asking a question about my surgery, recovery, or results, I want it explained, even if it won't become relevant until later. To be fair, there were things I genuinely liked about Dr. Kalaria. I wasn't looking for the cheapest surgeon; I wanted someone knowledgeable, trustworthy, and safety-conscious. One reason I chose her was because she would NOT perform back liposuction at the same time as my other procedures because she felt the surgery would be too long and unsafe. I respected that tremendously and it gave me confidence in her judgment. Ultimately, my experience reinforced the importance of doing your own research and documenting EVERYTHING you discuss. Don't assume that because an area was discussed or a procedure is described generally that you know exactly what will be treated. Ask specifically what areas are included and excluded, and confirm important discussions in writing. I had actually planned to return to Dr. Kalaria for additional work. Unfortunately, based on my overall experience, particularly how my concerns were handled afterward, I no longer feel comfortable doing so.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Shana Kalaria. I visited her for a…read moreconsultation regarding a bump on my forehead caused by a past injury. After a very brief and superficial examination, she suggested injecting Botox into my forehead to "see how the bump reacts" and decide on further treatment from there. This advice immediately seemed questionable, so I consulted with two other board-certified plastic surgeons. Both were shocked by her recommendation. They explained that the bump was most likely structural -- possibly a small cyst, calcified hematoma, or scar tissue -- and in no way related to muscle activity. Botox, which only relaxes muscles, would be completely ineffective and inappropriate for this type of issue. What made the experience worse was Dr. Kalaria's unprofessional focus on payment. The very first thing she said to me was that she only accepts cash and doesn't work with insurance. That was an unsettling way to begin a medical consultation, especially for someone seeking help with a post-traumatic injury. To top it all off, I was charged for this rushed and medically questionable consultation. I did not return and instead chose to move forward with one of the other surgeons who provided a proper diagnosis and safe treatment plan. I strongly advise others to get a second opinion before proceeding with Dr. Kalaria.
