ABC Pet Care Clinic has been my dogs' regular pet clinic for the last four years. I had both of my dogs neutered and all physical exams done here. My dogs also get their vaccines at the central location. They keep it very affordable! Dr. McDole has been my dogs' provider ever since their first visit and is very professional. He has great bedside manner and explains everything thoroughly! He takes his time examining my animals during their check-ups and you can tell he cares about his patients. I brought my dog in for an x-ray and he had the technician take multiple x-rays, so he can give me a better diagnosis, at no-charge! The front desk and staff are also great! They happily greet me whenever I enter the clinic and are always prompt when checking me in. The technicians are very educational and informative when I have questions. I recommend this clinic to anyone looking for an affordable clinic with caring and kind providers and staff!

Doctor Grove has given our English Bulldog the best care. We use to take him to a nearby Animal Hospital that only appeared to care about the money and not the dog. The hospital wanted to perform costly but not necessary surgery on our dogs leg. We didn't bring him there because of his leg, we brought him there because he was really sick and could barely breath. We did not think he would live much longer, so they recommended that we should think about "end of life" options. We then decided to take Dozer the Bulldog to ABC on Craycroft Road to see if they could do anything for his extremely labored breathing problem. Dr. Grove really cared about making him better and prescribed medicine that really turned him around and he is now almost back to his old self. Dr Grove also recommended getting a brace for his leg (something the hospital never mentioned to us). We are very thankful to Dr. Grove and all the staff at Animal Birth Control as they were all amazing.

I have used ABC fo years, however this was my first dental experience with them. I am BEYOND pleased. They treated my pups with care and compassion. As some one who works with animals...I appreciate that. My pups both got dentals....and I was told they would need extractions when they were evaluated a couple months ago. Both of them are a bit over 7 YO, so bloodwork was needed, and I opted for IV fluid as well as X rays. I was expecting a total of 1200 to 1400 dollars fo both pup...as I was quoted. My total was 980.00 dollars....for BOTH pups to get dentals. No extractions needed. I got a call with an update in early afternoon telling me all had gone well. The staff went over the instructions after the dentals.....I paid. Then they carried my high as hell pups out to the car. The staff here REALLY care for the animals......and my respect fo them free a bit more after the pups dentals. Shout out to Shannon...the receptionist....as some one who is front line in my job dealing with the public....I APPRECIATE the patience and caring!

This is a shout-out and great big THANK YOU!! to Dr. Groves at ABC/Craycroft. She's the best and I say this having owned many, many pets over the years. My dog is 12 1/2 and has dementia, resulting in sundowner's syndrome. Just like humans, this causes her to panic and pace starting in late afternoon. It's just awful. Well, Dr. Groves called me (yes - she called me!) with suggestions of meds to try. She went through the list and determined not only the best option for us but where I could purchase it for the most reasonable price at a local pharmacy. Who does that these days? I appreciate her compassion and her skill so very, very much. ABC is fortunate to have her on board and so am I!

Great receptionists, great techs, and great vets. Last year I had to let one of my babies go to the rainbow bridge. They were all very compassionate and Rhea went in peace. She'd been having some difficulties for a couple years. Other places ran tests and they all came back normal. Here they ran tests that they wouldn't normally do with a 4 year old and found the cause. Letting go of a baby I saved from death as a kitten, one who had a larger than life personality even though she was tiny, was so so hard. But at least we knew what was killing her in the end.

These guys are amazing. We've used them for multiple surgeries and other needs. Very friendly and fees are presented up front. This week we had our first elderly dog go down after 13 years with us. The staff here was very kind during the process of putting him down and talking about options. We selected a premium service with ashes in urn and paw print plaque along with end of life service it was very reasonably priced at $160. The sympathy they displayed along with a beautiful card we got in the mail was well worth it. Thanks for your awesome service Double Thumbs Up

We came across Desert Hills and they got us in immediately. Our dogs were behind on vaccinations and needed their nails trimmed. We were so impressed with the staff, and Dr. Kaufman is outstanding, and is so passionate about his profession. My husband and I were also really pleased he checked each dog thoroughly and verbalized the exam so we knew exactly what was happening. The space is petite, clean, and comfortable with lovely art hanging all around. The entire visit was easy and both dogs were very happy. Also, their prices are comparable to other clinics and they assisted us with quotes for future health issues, so we know the cost, which was greatly appreciated! We are definitely looking forward to going back again with our dogs in tow.

I told the doc we have limited resources. Doctor Adams saw her and suggested that she may have a sensitive stomach or possible IBS, and if the food did not work, she would see if a script would work. I was told by the tech, Gerrick, that I could call and give an update on her condition to get a script. 2 weeks passed and no improvement. I called for the script, and the "office manager" said I have to bring her in, again (another $70). I've spent thousands of dollars with them, and this is the loyalty I get. I have a sick cat, and now I'm out over $100 bucks with nothing to show for it... $70 for a visit, plus the food, and no medical treatment. I want a refund.

This is a LONG review but if you are questioning whether you should go here i highly suggest you…read moreread it; I brought my 6 year old Chihuahua in on 01/05, first off they contacted us first to ask if we would like to take advantage of the free first exam coupon and got us an appointment literally for 1 hour later. The timing was impeccable. Second, once we got to VCA Valley we were greeted by very welcoming receptionists who got us checked in immediately, we were seen within 10/15 minutes of getting there by a vet tech named Alex, and brought to an exam room. he was amazing and went through all the notes the call center employee noted, we explained Daisy's full history, he checked her vitals and was so gentle with her as she was very nervous. Then we were shortly seen by Dr Zatlow (spelling may be wrong but i know they refer to her as Dr Z!) and she was very compassionate, she listened attentively, she gave us a thorough explanation and examined Daisy accordingly all with us present in the exam room. She stated all her concerns and then laid out a treatment plan for us that fit within our budget (as we were facing some financial difficulties at this time) Alex did a phenomenal job of explaining CareClub to us and the advantage of using that plan to minimise the up front cost for Daisy to have blood work done. They also refilled her prescription for her valley fever medication and seizure medication AND sent us home with a steroid for her autoimmune disorder. The next day i contacted them again to schedule her blood draw and i expressed to them i wanted to keep her appointments with Dr Z and her team and they fitted me in with a blood draw for the following day at 11AM So 01/07 we went and got her blood drawn, they again greeted us very welcoming, they got us into an exam room within 15 mins, they checked her vitals again and took her back for the draw which took no longer than 15/20 mins. We spoke with Dr Z again and she spoke to us further about what our focus is and what our next steps will be. They informed us that the blood samples would be sent out that night and we would get the results by the weekend, this visit again was very informative and we left very satisfied with the care Daisy was given. The unfortunate part of all this, was that my dogs health took a pretty rapid decline, this was no ones fault other than the relapse in her condition was working rapidly and she was showing very bad signs, we contacted VCA valley that same night (01/07 around 9pm) and we were told we would receive a call from the emergency techs who would triage her via phone to tell us if we needed to bring her in or not (and this triage call is of no cost to us, it is not considered an exam so there is no fee). This visit was the longest of all of them, Daisy was taken back immediately and in the back for about an hour before we got taken into an exam room. after Megan spoke with the Doctor the Doctor then came to us (i do not remember this Dr's name but she was also very kind, compassionate and thorough in all her explanations) she outlined the severity of Daisy's symptoms and the extent of the care that she would need and the risks involved, and after a lot of discussion with my partner we decided it was ABSOLUTELY in Daisy's best interest to let her sleep peacefully. And although this was such an unexpected decision and it absolutely broke me to do it, i NEVER felt pressured to do this, Megan the vet tech and the Doctor did not force me to do this, they gave me every option possible. They got her comfortable, They brought her to me and gave me and my partner time to say goodbye, i had decided i didnt want to be present while they put her to sleep as it was just too hard for me. Megan the tech stayed with me in the lobby while i waited for my boyfriend to come out the exam room. She was sleeping eternally at 3am on 01/08 The paperwork was easy, i signed and picked out the urn for my baby, due to our financial situation we signed a "promise to pay" for me to pay over the next week so i could get her ashes back. It was all very simple and affordable and they are working with a timeline that fits my pay schedule. I just have to end this very long winded review that the specific drs and techs that we saw were absolutely amazing, i would recommend trying to get appointments with Dr Z and her team if you can, Im happy that they even gave my baby a chance to try and treat her condition, her health just declined so rapidly and that was no ones fault. Thank you VCA for giving my girl a chance, it gave me a few extra days to love on her before letting her rest with dignity and peace.
