Two of the four barbers I've known for years because my siblings and I have been going to them for years. Malik and Barnell are their names and their two of the best in the business. In all my years of getting hair cuts with Barnell, I've never been let down once. An important note is Everyone there is available for appointments, as long as you can make them early enough. I say that because they are all very popular, especially Malik and Barnell. So at least 24 hours is highly recommended for appointments. The only downfall is the location. The barber shop is located a block away from busy Ocean Avenue. So not only is parking very scarce at times. But depending on what day it is you can't park during certain hours for street cleaning. To make it even worse the parking has a two hour limit before you have to move your vehicle. Granted that seems like a long time to most people but if something happens and you're delayed. Then the hassle of having to move your car because of a two hour parking limit can be a headache. But the focus is the barber shop and this place hits all points needed when it comes to getting what you want. So stop By and prepare to be impressed.

This delay would have caused us to miss our next appointment, so we had to leave. NOTE TO OWNER: please don't accept appointments you aren't able to honor. I would have rather you said you couldn't take the appointment so that I could have made other arrangements. That is not good business practices and very unprofessional. I stayed because of their "20 dollar cancellation policy". The cut took over 2 hours. All I wanted was a touch up, and in 2 hours almost nothing changed. I can't tell I got a haircut from the back and there are very uneven patches on both sides. The top is also uneven. It's a lot of negativity, but this has never happened before, especially for a touch up.
