We were staying local for the long weekend and wanted to take our young grandson on a ride in the hills. She gave great information and allowed us to look at their map of the area their customers use for their rides. Again, we had our own UTV's, but she still was willing to help us out to have a great day. I will spread their great customer service and next time I'm in the area, I'll make sure I can give them some business. Maybe a snowmobile trip next January. They are just the type of company I want to support. I highly recommend doing business with them. I should also add that their equipment looked new and well maintained and trail ready. I preface this review with that because I want you to understand the magnitude of this negative review. As an Elite Yelper you can see that I pride myself in writing solid and truthful comments. I have NEVER written a bad review of a local company until now. I feel that my experience with this company was so horrifying that I need to protect my family and friends. I called several McCall boat rental companies to reserve a pontoon for Saturday, August 1st. I received friendly service from all but no availability. My cousin had a desire to jump off the cliffs and he wanted to go out on the Payette instead of Cascade. Upon the McCall places being booked I began to call Donnelly / Cascade. I reached Cascade Marina and my conversation was we wanted a pontoon that we could drive to McCall. Upon arriving I was shocked because it was much cheaper then the price I had seen on the website ($599) and quoted over the phone. I had planned $600+ $40 plus tax. I was planning over $700 and was shocked at $441. I quickly got over my shock when I was made aware we were not receiving a pontoon. The staff immediately recognized my disappointment regarding the condition of the boat. They began to quickly offer anything positive they could to conversation including trying to find common ground with mutual friends. We arrived at Payette later than anticipated. They were 10-15 minutes late to start the morning and the loading process took 30-45 minutes. We left there just after 10. We stopped at home on our way loaded swimsuits, waters, etc... and got to the Marina in McCall around 12:30 PM. Upon getting on the boat it was quite discouraging all the items that were broken and our in grave disrepair. The radio didn't work, the table was broken and difficulty adjusting, stains on the carpet, the tube had a little rip in it, etc... It was clear that we had been given an alternative to the pontoon that I had seen in the photos on the website. We made a little loop around And went to shore for a light lunch. We then went back out and a member of our party went to retrieve an item from the "dry storage" and it was filling rather quickly with water. We retrieved items and attempted To locate the problem. A member of the party, a chief in the United States Navy, got into the water and attempted to see if all the right plugs were in place, etc... The boat was taking on water pretty quickly and it was clear the bilge pump was not working. We returned to the closest beach (North Beach) and called the rental company. Our first call was at 1:45 P.M. after 1 little loop around part of Payette. I had family in town from all over, for one weekend. ... This is where the story gets good. We recognize our boat is sinking. We have come to shore to not fix the situation, but rather do we all did not drone in the middle of Payette Lake. Instead of saying, "I am so sorry, we will be there right away", we received a "ughhh??? We will call you right back." Finally, after sitting on the shore next to the sinking boat for OVER 5 hours, their 18 year old son and his buddy show up. The first question he asked is if we hit any rocks? We hadn't had time to hit any rocks. On the phone with his father he also says there is not damage to the boat and he had walked the perimeter. As if this were our fault???? He then returns our party of 4, the 4 that had been stuck there waiting with the sinking boat, we return to the Marina. Upon loading up the son says, "I don't know why we rent that boat. It belongs to someone else and we like rent it for them. We always have problems with it." Not only do I recommend a different rental company, I would avoid doing business with this company all together. Their service sunk to an all time low, like literally SUNK.

We noticed Tamarack was offering rafting adventures and decided to give them a try and we are so glad we did!! Our guide Freddie was so knowledgeable and did a fantastic job! You can tell he genuinely loves rafting and wants to share that passion with everyone he guides for. We did the day long trip and it didn't feel long enough because we were having so much fun! I was able to setup a reservation with CMBR for a large group…read more This was for 15 sleds (snowmobiles) in early March. I did most of the coordinating through email, which was easy and hassle free. Upon arriving at the rental shop, we got some gear, if needed, and signed waivers. The gals working the shop were friendly, mellow, and had plenty of jokes! We drove ourselves to the trailhead (Francis Wallace parking lot). The parking area was a bit slushy, but we managed with two minivans - and some knowhow. Upon arriving at the lot, a tech went through a brief orientation on how to operate the sleds. You are able to sled right out of the parking lot and onto the trails. The trails go on what would be forest roads in the summer season. There are some stops to make along the way with great views and a snowed-in restaurant worth a quick drink. After a few hours on the trails, we returned to the lot where the techs collected the sleds. Afterwards, you do have to drive the helmets and gear back to the rental shop in town, but easy enough. I highly recommend CMBR for the courteous, laid-back service!

So..... our first attempt was horrible. It was 9 degrees that day and we rented 3 snowmobiles for a family of 5. My oldest is 20 so he had his own and we were about 45 min into our day when the machine started sending alarms and overheating. We tried packing it w ice and letting rest and tried to head back which ended taking about two plus hours . After 40 min and going only 1/4 mile we decided I would head back and get help . By now the snowmobile was smoking . I head in and they told me that there are no extra machine and started to walk away . There is no cell service at all on the whole route and even at the lot you start at . I'm like hey !' It's 9 degrees and they are stuck what are you going to do ?! I wanted to leave the machine and have 3 people on one machine and slowly head back but my husband was worried that they charge us for it . One of the two guys said he was heading out with a group and would stop for a minute and see if it's a quick fix or coolant. I asked if he could give me the coolant and he said there was only one . He had group of 3 people and they were newbies. Did I tell you one of my 14 yr old twins refused to wear his long johns even though we told him it was essential for 9 degrees. We starts heading out and his machine started smoking. He couldn't go any further. So I found rest of my family and they had to ditch the machine by the payette park sign . Once we were warm and in town I called . They were aware of situation and gave us all our money back no argument, they just apologized that made me respect them . It took us hours to get back . We started at 9 and it was noon before the family was back together at the lot. I was surprised when my family asked if we could try again so i called back and they hooked us up and gave a small discount and they also spoke to Burgdorf and got our money back and was able to reschedule our hot springs even though there were no appointments available. Yes I recommend this company because we had amazing time the second time and when things went bad they stepped up and did the right thing .

We saw no mites while we were there. There's a couple paths down to the springs, one very steep so watch yourself. This spring can get busy as it's easy access from the road. Though there is no nudity allowed, watch out! Apparently it's not taken seriously. We almost burned our eyes before we were warned by some fellow (clothed) soakers. Overall we had a great time with our family while in the Warm Springs area vacationing.
