Just so happened I had an appointment in town and would be in the area! I was stoked that not only was I able to score some delicious mochi but it was on special 3 for $20 for early birds 10:30-11:30 (I literally just made it in time). I was able to chose any 3 $8 items for just $20 (what a deal). I chose the original butter mochi bites, ube butter mochi, and coffee butter mochi. I also bought a cookie butter white chocolate butter mochi for $10, which was a special flavor. I even got a free calandar! My favorite was the coffee butter mochi. It really tasted like a delicious cup of coffee. I didn't care for the bites as they were a little dense and dry imo. The ube was okay but didn't really have the ube flavor I love. I also really enjoyed the cookie butter flavor, because who doesn't like cookie butter, lol. Overall I look forward to continuing to support this small local business and try some other flavors. I was told that they would be doing a pop up at Mililani High school in March, so I'm looking forward to that.

I couldn't believe it! God wanted me to have these alfajores!! She also delivered them to my apartment! I can't believe I didn't catch her name. I'll have to message her. So what I received was a mix of alfajores filled with dulce de leche, Nutella, pineapple, and strawberry. Some of the cookies were dipped in chocolate and coated with coconut shreds. The others had white and milk chocolate dressed on top of a strawberry. While the rest of the alfajores had toppings of powdered sugar, toffee bits, and rolled with coconut shavings. I had consumed 5 alfajores in a matter of minutes. I was the Cookie Monster lol. I am now experiencing cookie coma if that is a thing. The cookies were delicate, great texture, and melted in your mouth. I closed my eyes as I ate every last crumble. They were soo light but dense. So take it easy if eating more than one because they are addicting! My favorite is the dulce de leche and pineapple filling. They are also gluten free!! I've been waiting for years to try their products and I tried the creme brulee with my boyfriend. The crust has a semi crunchy texture but because it has been refrigerated for multiple hours it's kind of more soft. The creme brulee flavor is more prominent than the actual Ube but the overall taste is really good. I think I paid about $6 for the creme brulee. They also offer other products too

Before today, I had already stopped by 2-3 different times, but each time I left empty handed. Today, I finally made it there again, waited in line, and there was only one customer ahead of me. The employee, an older woman, didn't acknowledge me while helping the other customer, which I understood, so I waited patiently for about 5-8 minutes. What was especially frustrating is that while I was standing there waiting, it would have been nice if she had simply let me know they were only accepting cash that day. That would have saved me from waiting in line only to find out when it was finally my turn. Even a simple sign posted at the counter would have made a huge difference. It just felt like there was a lack of basic customer courtesy and communication. When it was finally my turn to order, I was told their system was down and they were only accepting cash. At that point I was already frustrated because I had parked far away. I asked where the nearest ATM was, and she vaguely said it was "somewhere in the food court" without giving clear directions. I ended up wandering around looking for an ATM, and by then I was so overwhelmed and frustrated that I just left. I tried calling several times throughout the day, but no one ever answered the phone. After a few hours, I decided to give them one more chance, even though it's out of the way for me. I called again with no answer, but I figured she might have been the only employee working and too busy to answer. When I arrived, they were sold out. After spending an entire week trying to purchase something as simple as poi balls, making multiple trips, waiting in line, searching for an ATM, and never being able to reach anyone by phone, I'm extremely disappointed. Better communication, answering the phone, posting when you're cash only, or updating customers when items are sold out would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced me not to return, and I can't recommend this business based on the service I received.
