My experience with Hurdle's has been nothing short of exceptional. We visited several jewelry…read morestores during our search, but ultimately decided on a custom piece. After researching multiple custom jewelers, we chose Hurdle's, and I am so glad we did. From the start, Aria was incredible. She not only answered all of our questions but also took the time to educate us on the different qualities to look for in various stones. Hurdle's has a great relationship with their ring makers, which made the process seamless. I found a ring design I loved and wanted to modify, and they provided multiple modification options--from their in-house team and the ring maker. The wax model they created was a game-changer, helping me visualize the final product perfectly. My engagement ring turned out so beautifully that I trusted them with two other custom projects for my wedding. For my wedding necklace, I wanted to use the stone from my proposal ring. I asked for recommendations on how to add interest without overshadowing the main stone, and they delivered stunning designs. I also worked with Haley to create a custom wedding band. Like Aria, Haley was incredibly helpful, offering suggestions and sharing her extensive knowledge of different stones, settings, and metals. I was more indecisive with the wedding necklace and wedding band design, going back and forth on several ideas. Haley was exceptionally patient, listened to my evolving vision, and helped me narrow it down while managing my expectations. The result is a both a wedding necklace and wedding band I absolutely adore. My fiancé is equally impressed with their knowledge and service, so much so he purchased his wedding band from them too! I highly recommend Hurdle's for any custom jewelry needs. I recommend seeing them sooner rather than later to make sure you have time to work on the design, make changes, and have it made. The pieces they have made for me are not only beautiful but also deeply meaningful. In addition to their custom work, I've had them repair several of my pieces. When one of my earrings needed a small fix after a recent repair, they took care of it on the spot. I am confident that even if we move away, we will be customers of Hurdle's for many years to come.

I initially went in to get a custom engagement ring made for my fiance. I was using the diamond from my great grandmothers ring and had a very rough idea of what I wanted from there. Top 5 Reasons You Should Get Your Engagement Ring with Cronin:…read more 1) They are SO customer focused-- we were treated like family every time we went in; Carrie remembered our names and all the ring details we'd previously talked about each time we went in, even when we didn't have an appointment! We also got to help cast our custom ring-- yes. WE GOT TO HELP MAKE OUR OWN RING. Bill's staff talked us through the entire process. Not only was it fascinating, but it's a great unique story to add to our engagement journey! 2) They stuck strictly to our budget, and never made us feel like we should be spending more than we wanted to. I ended up with a ring that far exceeded my expectations for the budget we had. Carrie and Bill were straightforward and honest with us throughout the entire process, even at the risk of disappointing me when I learned my grandmother's diamonds just wouldn't work for the ring I wanted (they were totally right-- the new ones look WAY better). 3) They are committed to ethical gem sourcing. When I told them that I wanted a conflict-free stone, they had a huge range of options! I ended up selecting a lab-grown yellow sapphire and couldn't be happier with the results. 4) This should be the most obvious from the photos, but the jewelry they make is BREATHTAKING. I've been wearing my engagement ring for the better part of a year, and get weekly compliments on the unique stone and setting. I know all brides-to-be do this, but I genuinely do trail off speaking sometimes when I look down at it. I told Carrie I wanted a piece that would become a family heirloom, and by God, they delivered. I'm even considering wearing this in place of a wedding band! 5) They have the CUTEST. OFFICE. DOG. EVER. I cannot recommend Cronin jewelers highly enough. I am so grateful that they had a role in my wedding dream! Thank you, Bill and Carrie!!

When you're walking the pedestrian mall in Boulder you can see how amazing this store is from the outside with all of it's beautiful Indian and Tibetan blankets hung in the windows. That is actually what drew me inside and what I ended up buying here. The lady running the store the day I visited, Toni I think her name is, was extremely informative about where their items came from, who made them, their age, etc. She allowed me to open many blankets before I made my selection. It all made the experience of the store feel very open and inviting. I was focused on their textiles, but they have a lot of other items in the store- clothing, furniture, jewelry, original art, and more. If you are an appreciator of objects from India, Nepal, and Tibet this place is not to be missed. If you're a pedestrian doing some shopping, take some time in here. It will be a welcome respite from many of the cookie cutter shops up and down the Pearl St. walk. You won't be disappointed.
