The bread is wonderful and the pizza is consistently amazing. My mom grew up on this pizza and it is the first place we go when we come to town. We have the number in our phone so we can call ahead on our way in from Chicago. We have to stop here before we even see any family. We always get a sausage and cheese pizza. Although we only have it a couple times a year, for over 25 years, it hasn't changed a bit. It is very reliable. When you stop in here you always have to get a loaf of bread. We usually finish it before we make it to the house. read more

They don't put sauce on their pizza and if you ask for a couple of marinara like you get for free at Casey's gas Station pizza they will not do it. The lady at the front desk says you have to buy a four dollar portion of sauce why the hell would I buy a four dollar thing of sauce when I'm buying a four dollar slice of pizza for lunch they should put sauce on it and do it right the first time a pizza comes with bread sauce and cheese. They're just being cheap. I can understand if they're gonna have slices all day and they want to cut back a little bit And some sauce, but this is outrageous. There's skimping on giving a quality product to the customer while the workers gobble up all the food themselves you can get an eyeful and see what's going on. read more

Angelo's Delivery - Fresh slice of pizza where is the sauce? If you want a cup of sauce, they wanna charge you four dollars they won't give you a small cup. - Pizza Near Me - Sterling, Illinois

The pizza is good but it's so expensive along with delivery fees and a tip and 3% fee for using a credit card. 2 pizzas was $60. That's insane. Won't do it again read more

So being new to town, I had zero idea where my brother who was visiting from Chicago could order pizza for delivery. A Google search brought us to Angelo's delivery. We ordered a 1/2 pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, olive and 1/2 of that same combo plus pineapple. We received a pizza that was half pepperoni, mushroom and blackolive, half cheese. When calling to report the issue, we got told, too bad, if we wanted to buy another pizza they'd send the right one. Needless to say, we declined and tried to eat what we received, which barely had any toppings, was flat and just not a good pizza. Between the sub par pizza and terrible customer service, they lost my business before they got it. My brother and I are both veterans, and we're very disappointed. It was that bad of an experience. Shame too, I hear they have good italian beef sandwiches. Guess I'll never know. read more

The food was decent however the service was awful and very rude. The bathrooms were dirty and all the tables needed to be cleaned.

Never thought I would have to give a bad review for any Angelos! But I picked up a small special on Monday. Got home, 11 miles away and the pizza was horrible! No cheese, edges all around burnt black! I'm hoping they were short handed and regular cook was gone! $27.00 for a pizza that wasn't worth bringing home! read more

I've been to hear many times. The food justice missing that Italian pizzazz. I never feel good after I eat it.

We came to Sterling high school for a state competition. I called Angelo's and planned ahead-they were very accommodating for our big order. The pizza is great and we got their bread and dipping sauce-our students loved this the most. read more

this angelo's is the best one in sterling and rockfalls in my opinion. the pizza is great, the pasta is good, service is great and very fast. the inside is small but clean. me and my friends in the summer used to always come late at night and order a large sausage pizza and it would come out piping hot. we would have a great time just talking and laughing. read more

Usually I have a good experience ordering delivery but the lady today between the hrs of 6 and 7pm was so unbelievably rude and obnoxious I can't believe how rude she was iv never in my life been treated like that by any pizza delivery place ever whoever she is needs fired read more

Hate to leave a battery view but I just picked up 2 slices and a small soda here for about $8.50 First time here. The pizza was akin to cardboard. Honestly had I been dining in, I would have asked for a refund after a few bites which is something I have never done in my entire life. It was truly bad pizza. The crust was chewy and the cheese was extremely thin. It was also cold. It was about 1:30 in the afternoon so after the lunch hour and I understand that but I saw where it was stored and the lights seem to beyond so I don't know how could be room temperature but it was. read more

Not the best food was cold and we was missing 1/2 the order had to call and have them bring the rest and was still missing the meatballs!!! For the price you pay you should get all your food! So not happy wont order again and dont forget the food was cold! read more

We stopped at Angelo's for a quick bite on our way back to Chicago from Iowa City, followed the Yelp recommendations & ordered the Spaghetti Pizza. This location is primarily take out, but there are a few tables where you can sit and enjoy the pizza. It's clean and bright, but not a place for a sit down dinner. Still, for road food it was great. Spaghetti pizza is way better than is sounds. The sauce was perfectly flavored, the sausage was crisp and tasty and the crust was delicious. I can't say that we would make the trip to Sterling just for the pizza, but we would absolutely make the stop if we were passing through on a road trip looking for good food & friendly service! About 10 minutes off I88 on IL 40. Easy. read more

pizza just mehw okay for the $$$ I paid to for delivery (5.00) should have been great. oh well live and learn.

This was a good place. Once the best in town, now not so much. Even little ceasers $5 pizza is better and it is painted cardboard. Angelo's cannot get orders correct anymore, not even close. Prices have steadily gone up and quality has plummeted. This should be next formerly good place to close as they are now the worst in town! read more

My family is from out of town and visiting for the holidays. Angelos is our favorite place to go so we stopped to bring food back home. We arrived and they told us our order was messed up and we waited 20 minutes for them to fix it. Staff stated that they would give us a large pizza for the mistake. After waiting 20 minutes they did not give us anything for the mistake (not even the large pizza) and our order was still wrong. When we asked for a discount they stated no and we could wait another 10 minutes for a large pizza if we wanted. Disappointed in the service tonight. read more

As much as I love Angelo's pasta, hamburgers, sauce, and lots of other things. The service is drastically going downhill, this is not the first time that I have waited a very excessive amount of time for my food. I was told it would be 45-60 minutes for my hamburger, soda, and meatballs....which in and of itself is excessive....and hour and a half later and still nothing...15mins to get through the busy signal and then 5 minutes in hold. Not even an apology. Ridiculous!!! read more

On a Friday or Sunday night this is the place to order from. Pizza is delivered hot and tasty. The sause is sweet, the edges are crispy. The sausage is huge chunks and the cheese is perfect. We have never going wrong ordering from here. The drivers are super awesome and food is always correct when we order. I think someone pictured the Spaghetti Pizza. OMG that is amazing, filling and something you will not find in the city. read more

Best pizza joint in town! Quality ingredients are used so price isn't the cheapest, but it has the best flavor.

MMMMM spagetti pizza! Whenever we drive through sterling (they have a rock falls location too) we eat there!

Worst customer service in the business. Great food, but they need to learn how to treat people. I tried to change my order from a family spaghetti to a large and the last refused. She told me I was stuck with my order so I cancelled it. End result: instead of changing my $28 order to a 18$-20 order, they lose everything just because the girl behind the counter wanted to be on a power trip. read more

My favorite pizza. Garlic brad with cheese awesome. The homemade bread is so good! We usually end up buying 3 extra loves

Angelo's has great pizza with some unique options. I have yet to find another pizza place with spaghetti pizza and when I mention it to people in the Chicago area I get some strange looks. I am a big fan of the taco pizza and their bread has is really good too. read more

Ordered a xlarge pizza for the grandkids. Was told an hour and it took an hour, I had no problem with that. The problem was the pizza came and was cold and the cheese was hard as if the pizza was made in the first half hour and left on the counter there for the second half hour. I live on the other side of the hospital, Angelo's delivery is on the other side of the hospital. Not that far. Worst pizza ever! To eat Angelo's you Must go and dine in only. read more

Ordered large taco with extra sour cream on the side. Normally, i usually order the same but at rock falls store and pickup myself. This time i ordered delivery. Was delivered within what they said. Pizza was way over done, dark brown with some black edges. Must have baked with lettuce and tomato on pizza and normally lettuce and tomatos are put on pizza after being baked. Lettuce looked like saurkraut. They sent 3 packets of sour creme, also not normal, and i asked for extra on the side. Won't buy from delivery anymore, but can't beat Rock Falls store. read more

very overpriced pizza. For the price I'm never impressed with the service I receive or the flavor. There is always too much grease resting on top of the pizza. read more

Ordered a pan style pizza with mushroom, black olives, and half sausage. Really had no taste. Sauce was bland, canned, not fresh, mushrooms, BIG turn off, and the sausage was blah. The "pan" style I was anticipating, with the high crust on the edge, turned out to be a "normal" style pizza edge with a thicker bottom crust. Little to no seasoning and the crust was below average. read more

I got a pizza lunch or twice a week there I think they kind of suck because I begged the guy to bring me a cup full of ice with my pop for an extra tip they said they don't do that. So Angelo's you suck you have s***** service get better. And the customer service world the words we don't do that. Suck no tip for you. read more

Waited 20 minutes for a pasta crock, came back to work with 5 minutes to eat only to find my crock had literally only one piece of pepperoni, one mushroom, and ONE piece of green pepper. The rest was just noodles and cheese which did not fully fill the container. I understand sometimes we have to wait longer for items especially at lunch time, but when I am waiting that long on my timed lunch break I expect the quality to be satisfactory. If I wanted just noodles and sauce I would have ordered mastaccioli. Very disappointing. read more

the pizza, spaghetti, italian burgers, etc here are beyond amazingly delicious!! this place never ceases to amaze me. they never hear complaints from me... even when it comes to the spaghetti pizza!! its filling for ja cheap price!!! read more

As always, the food was amazing. It is still hands down the best pizza that I've ever had. However, my last experience there wasn't too good. I called an order for a pickup at 7:30. She said in about a half hour. Comes 8 o'clock, I leave to go get it. I get there about 8:05. After I payed, I was standing there expecting my order to come out in about a minute or less as usual. 5 minutes goes by though and she says it's gonna take about another ten minutes. Fine, so in sit down and wait. It's 8:25 now and I'm STILL waiting for my food. I was gonna ask them how much longer, and if they said about another 5 minutes or more, I was just gonna cancel my order. Luckily for them my order came right up when I went up to the counter. I had finally gotten my food at 8:30. An hour later. Not a half hour like they said, am hour. And to top things off, they almost forgot to give me my pop. I had to show them my receipt to prove it to them tok. I feel like the pop should have been free or even a free loaf of bread as a compensation for taking so long. Great food, but just bad guest service. read more
