I have been going here for sometime, but won't anymore. I had an appt the last time and got pushed for walk-ins. I wanted a mani and pedi and ended getting just a polish color change on my nails only. I was told Sorry, we are just so busy. No point in making an appointment here because they will turn NO business away. They will tell you 5 minutes, put you in a chair and you will be seen when they can fit you in around 2 other customers working simultaneously to do all 3 of you at once and you end up here for hours. I was looking for an alternative to my former nail salon, which had become very busy, crowded, and loud. The last straw was when a tech got rude with me when I couldn't pick a color in 2.5 seconds and then the owner yelled at me when I asked questions about gel colors. So I tried this place. It's in a run-down shopping center, but easy to find & park. The interior is rather sad.... bad décor, old equipment, messy and disorganized... which is why I was shocked to be charged $85 (not including tip!) for a gel mani/pedi.... so that was $100 out the door. That is crazy! The upside is: it's never too busy! Haha- Now I know why. For those prices, one would expect a stunning, spa-like experience and atmosphere..... which it is not. I went to a nearby nail salon for over a year wasn't happy with their service. Decided to try this place and it's a HARD NO! I did tip well but my nails look worse then they did when I decided to switch! Way over charging for services! I work hard for my money and my nails are awful!! Will never go back! One star is way to Generous. This was undoubtedly the worst pedicure I have ever had. After I was told it would be 20 minutes I was there for two hours. She clipped my nails to the QUICK! She then tried to paint my toes with gel polish! I went back they refused to fix it and said it was they way my skin was around my toes and they couldn't "fix" that and I must have caused the polish to "bubble" by leaving to fast. Well I had no choice but to leave because there was NO place to sit! I guess I clipped my nails crooked as well. I forgot to mention that they charged me for a spa pedicure. STAY AWAY! I went to get an overlay & a pedicure. I arrived at the salon a little after 12pm the photos of my nails were taken at 1:11pm I have never been to a salon/spa and out within less than a hour. The pedicure was rushed & my nails look horrible! It's been 3 days and my polish (gel) has already started chipping. I contacted the salon about my complaint the lady I spoke with told me to come into the salon to show my nails in order to get a refund I go back into the salon and now they are telling me they do not give refunds and they will redo the overlay which is ridiculous why would I want you do redo the nails if I wasn't happy with the service I received. They should communicate their policy with other workers one should say they give refunds if the other says they don't. They granted me a gift certificate that I'll never use. read more

I have been looking for a new nail place near my house and I was so happy to find the perfect one today! Dee did an amazing job on my full set gel ! They are open and using precautions in awe of covid-19. The massage she gave my hand at the end was the cherry on the top to a perfect mani ! Will be coming back and recommend to anyone in the area! Make sure to call ahead for an appointment, although they were able to fit me in right away when I called to make one! I got a full set here recently. I used to LOVE this salon, however the full set I received is not great. Nails are super thick and chunky. She didn't polish to tops of them. Multiple crooked nails. Their matte finish isn't a true matte, it's a semi-gloss finish. I would've had them all fixed but I was on a tight schedule. She wasn't rushed as there was no one waiting behind me. They have cut my fingers to the point where I start bleeding every time I have gone recently! Don't bother going to get acrylics done. They have no idea what they're doing, and you'll end up with wonky shapes and bad designs. Not to mention I was bleeding everywhere. She cut 4 of my fingers with the electric file. She did not do a good job, which sucks when you're spending that kind of money. There was one that did a great job (Jasmine), one who did a poor job, and the rest were just ok. I went for a pedicure in February and got an infection because she jabbed my toe. it kept hurting. I ended up going to the PCP and gave me antibiotics. It got so bad,I went to the urgent care and they put me on a stronger antibiotic. They sent me to a podiatrist and she had to remove part of my toenai. Never again will I get a pedicure at any salon. I started going here when my regular nail tech was not working on the days I needed to get my nails done. I went to Jasmine, who did a nice job. So I gave her a shot for my next fill. Sloppy job, gel nail polish all over my cuticles, which doesn't come off, very heavy handed- almost painfully so, coffin shaped nails, that unfortunately were all different sizes, and overall just a rush job. Went back to my girl who I begged to fix my nails. She asked me what happened...I told her I got them done out of town. I was so embarrassed how horrible they looked. Never again. When I asked if we were also getting massage they said yes. 30 second "massage " which was NOT a massage. Charged full price. Will NEVER go back. Very clean! Lots of colors to choose from for my gel refill. Don was my tech and instantly knew what I wanted as I tried to describe to him the shape I wanted to go to. He is a perfectionist and did a wonderful job. Since Friday I have had a handful of compliments on my nails. My wax was just okay. My eyebrows are too thin for my taste, but it's hair. It will grow. I've been to most of the nail salons on Warrenton, VA. Most are good but I wanted to find better. After I read all of the reviews I decided to check out Angel Tips Nailspa. I'M SO GLAD I DID! I'll never go anywhere else! I just walked in on a Sunday afternoon and asked for a pedicure and they took me right away. The shop was VERY NEAT AND TIDY. It even smelled good. There was nice relaxing music playing and the lights were at a comfortable level. The temperature in the shop was nice and cool and very comfortable. (It was blazing hot and very humid outside). There were several customers in the shop and all seemed very happy. Chatting and visiting quietly with one another. Like I said I was seated right away in a very comfortable massage chair. The water temperature was just right. As the water burbled away Don my technician introduced himself and got to work. He asked nicely if I wanted a spa pedicure. So I decided to splurge. It was wonderful! Don was very meticulous and careful. The best part of the whole experience was the massage. Oh my! It was heaven. He started by putting little dabs of menthol ointment on my lower legs followed by an unscented oil/moisturizer. After rubbing that in he took smooth warm stones and rubbed them over my lower legs and feet. Then he gave me the best massage I have ever had. It was fantastic. Myself and my bridesmaids went here to get our nails done last weekend. The two ladies that gave mani-pedis to the bridesmaids were very nice and really good, even with my very ticklish friend. Their French manicures looked great. The guy that did my nails wasn't as good, he didn't file my nails evenly so some are kind of asymmetrical, and there are some parts of the shellac finish that don't look very good only 3 days later. The best nail salon I've ever been to. It's quiet, they play relaxing music and imagery on a big screen in the back, and it's never crowded. It seems to be a well-kept secret since the other nail salons in the area tend to be in more visible locations. I've had my nails done by every person that works there and they all do a great job--thorough, precise, but also quick and efficient. For a gel mani/reg pedi, I'm always in and out in about an hour, sometimes less. I've been to other nail salons in the area and this one is by far the best--it's not even close. read more

I'm bummed. My friend and I get gel manis and the first time we got our nails done here it was great! We just returned today and had a HORRIBLE experience. My woman was rude and rough. Both of our nail techs cut our fingers and never apologized. Mine didn't even have me wash my hands before the polish because she was trying to hide the cut from me. Like I didn't feel it...seriously?! Then basically the only words they spoke in English were "what color" the rest of the time they were obviously talking about us and another customer in the room. The whole process was very rushed and our nails are extremely thin and the polish looks bubbly, also 2 of my nails have already chipped at the bottom! Gel manis normally last me 3 weeks!! In other words I would not recommend this place to anyone ever!!!!! *I used hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol last night to clean the cuts on my fingers and yet still woke up this morning with my finger infected and in pain. I had an appointment and so did some of the others that were in there but they had plenty of people who just walked in. They got those people in and without much of a wait at all. My regular nail girl was on vacation for two weeks and I had an upcoming event so I ended up coming to Angel tips after my friend referred me to Jasmine. My gel nails lasted for 3 weeks! I've since gone back once, gel didn't last as long this time but jasmine gives an amazing manicure! Gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because my 2nd gel mani didn't last near as long as the first one!
