Susan is amazing!!! She runs her schedule and appointments on time and does perfect nails! Everywhere I go, I receive beautiful compliments on my nails! Her pedicure technique is gentle and calming and my feet look spectacular! My legs are gently massaged, just the way I like and I leave rejuvenated! Everyone there is kind, professional and just wonderful! Their products are new and fresh and the vibe is comforting and peaceful with seasonal or soft music playing in the background but not so loud that you can have a conversation with your honey, who joined you for his pedicure! I hate to leave bad reviews for small businesses, but this has to be done as a warning and courtesy for others in case they're thinking about going to this nail salon. Mind you, my husband took her the morning of homecoming because I was at work, or I would have had the issues corrected immediately. That being said, when she got home I was shocked at how awful they looked. There was no evenness and her cuticles looked horrible. The nails were lumpy in places, too thick in areas and then too think in other areas. Honestly, the worst mail job I've ever seen. I went in to speak to the owner about them and she thought the $70 coat was adequate and they looked great! Said it was their best mail tech that did them. That's just sad. Seriously, avoid this place. read more

Nice people (hence the extra star) but the sanitation and general practice was a little disconcerting. The bowl was filled without any plastic insert and seeing how they cleaned the bowl after use next to me, did not encourage confidence. Also, got my eyebrows waxed and she was about to start without washing her hands...which was after her working on my feet. She's did use a great deal of hand sanitizer after I asked her about washing her hands. The service itself was fine but then she used the heel scrubber on the top of my foot. As you can see from the pic, she removed skin as I now have healing scabs. read more

Was in the area to attend my niece's wedding and the shop was across the street from my hotel. I did make an appointment the day before so I was seated immediately upon my arrival. The nail tech, Henry provided a very nice spa pedicure and gel manicure. Although I brought my own nail polish color, Henry was able to match the gel color perfectly to my toe color. I've been to most nail salons in Warrenton and this is the only salon I go to where my acrylic nails don't break. While I would highly recommend going here for acrylic nails, there are some compromises. The quality of the paint and shaping has really gone down hill. Last few times I went the lady didn't put on enough coats and my nails looked spotty. Same with my pedi. This past time, photos attached, they are very thick and the polish does not look good around the nail. She also didn't ask me about shape or if I wanted them trimmed down. She also did not cut down my real nails under the acrylic. I feel that these are standard questions a nail tech should talk to her client about. I shouldn't have to ask. This lady also kept hitting my skin with dremel tool and now all my nails are sore. It was a frustrating and painful experience. When I did ask for "coffin" or tapered style nails one lady told me it was too hard for her to do that style at a shorter length. But the next time I went a different lady did it just fine. The same lady, who also did the spotty job, asked me if I could pay in all cash when I handed her my card. Such a disgusting question to ask a customer (unless the machine is broken...it wasn't) I always pay with my card and tip in cash. I am going to try another place for my next fill. read more

I love getting my nails done while I'm on vacation. Yelped nail salons inWarrenton and this place has the best reviews. I didn't make an appointment on a Thursday noon and had no problem being served immediately. The lady that did my pedicure was efficient and fast. She did a nice job. Tran did my gel manicure and was very nice. She helped me choose a color and was also fast and good. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Warrenton! read more

I have tried a bunch of different nail stops in Warrenton and this one is by far my favorite. They are open late and no matter when I go in, I never seem to have to wait. Mai is my favorite, she takes her time and does a very thorough job, plus while I've been pregnant, she has given me the most wonderful leg and foot massages during my pedicures. I usually get a regular manicure and pedicure, but there are spa options. I wish they carried more of the newer, in-season colors, but they do allow you to bring your own colors in and that works for me. read more

I've gone to this place 3 times, each was a different experience. 1. My first manicure. I got regular polish and had it done by a young pregnant woman. She was delightful! Shaped my nails perfectly and the paint job was perfect. Absolutely no complaints! 2. I chose gel for this manicure, my nails were done by an older woman. She was very nice and did a good job on my nails. 3. My most recent manicure. Gel again, same color. My nails were done by an older woman, although I can't remember if she was the same as last time. She cut me three times while doing my cuticles, my nails were shaped all over the place (I asked for round), and she put very little paint on. Like 2 coats, I could see right through. While I was sitting there she commented that I could use a moustache and eyebrow wax (WTH). If thats her method of upselling, COUNT ME OUT. And charged me $60, even though the board said $45 for gels. I did not tip. I will try a different shop next time. read more

I popped in for a quick pedicure the day before a wedding and realized I wanted to get the gel polish removed from my fingernails as well. They'd told me it would be a 10-15 minute wait (there were probably five other people having work done when I arrived at noon on a Friday; besides me, no one else was waiting), but they got my fingernails soaking right away, so it didn't really feel like a wait at all. The shop was clean, open, and airy, and prices were about average ($23 for a regular pedicure). I appreciated that there wasn't a constant attempt to upsell me and it was a nice touch that the gal slicked on a shiny topcoat to my fingernails even though I hadn't gotten a manicure. This salon is right around the corner from my parents' house, so I won't hesitate to return the next time I'm in town for a visit. read more

Worst mani/pedi ever. I am disappointed in my first experience here, and I will not go back! I could've done a better job at home. I should've caught a hint when I saw the lady add what looked like saline to the nail polish I selected, which was a nearly-full bottle. TWO AND A HALF hours later, this happens, as seen in the picture. They are a gummy mess! I paid almost $40, and this is crap. I sat at their professional dryer for 20 minutes, and I went home and sat some more; I visited here in the late morning... more than plenty of time to dry, so there is no excuse why they should have done this. read more

Been going here 10 years now and I can't speak highly enough about the Tran's. It's a family run business to the core. Mom, son, aunts.... speaks enough all by itself. For my pedi I prefer Rose or Tina, but all are honestly great. I personally just am detail oriented and really love a nice long foot/leg rub. My nails are strictly reserved for Kevin as I'm super picky about, length, thickness, cuticles and my fillings and to be honest at this point I just make everyone else nervous but Rose and Tran are also great!!! read more

I really like this place for pedicures. They are only $25. If you're going to get a pedicure, see Tina! Literally the best massage I've ever had with a pedicure. My only complaint is the color selection for polish (or lack there of). Very nice staff! read more

The nail dryers are dirty(and overall)plus 2 roaches ran by me while getting a pedicure. My gel polish manicure and pedicure peeled 3 days later. The tech Cindy was really rough with my nails while repairing the flaws She blamed the peeling on all nails due to my nails being cracked.(not). Her appearance is very unkept and used her long unpolished dirty nails as a tool during the manicure, I felt I was an inconvenience. But since spending $75.00 for the services days prior I felt they were obligated to touch up the the peels. I had also hoped for another technician but Cindy was working so....needless to say I didn't get into my flawed pedicure . I did ask for the base of my manicure to be filled in because she went well above the cuticle line but she didn't. I feel reminding people of expected quality and satisfaction should be a no brainer. Lastly, all the employees yelling in languages I don't understand, well just sucks!!! read more

I went to this shop today after work. I'm working in Warrenton, like I do several times a year, but I don't live here. I walked in and got waited on easily in the early afternoon. The main reason I'm giving this shop five stars is because along with my pedicure, I got an exceptional gel manicure. I haven't been getting gel polish for long--just a few months--but I've had mixed results. I wasn't pleased with the last one I received, because it didn't last as promised; it lifted after a week, and I ended up picking it off. This afternoon, I came back to my hotel and did a bit of research on gel polish, and I learned that the reason my previous gel polish probably didn't "stick" is because they didn't take care to trim the cuticle, and that gel polish will naturally lift if it touches the cuticle. I did notice she took quite a bit of care with this, but I didn't realize the reason at the time. I believe my technician's name was Rose (but I only say that because I saw a name tag at the station she was working from; she wasn't wearing a name tag, and I'm not super-chatty.) My nails look great--not just the polish, but my actual nails, and I'll be visiting this shop again when I'm in town. read more

Sorry to have to post this as I have gone to Nail Design for several years. My husband and I go for pedicures. My husband was assigned a technician I had never seen. I was treated by the owner. Everything appeared normal until the next day when my husband woke up in severe pain. The technician had cut my husband's ingrown toenail to the quick. The bedsheets were bloody. We spent the next 21/2 hours at an urgent care facility. I post this because anyone with ingrown toenails should only use a podiatrist. It's more expensive, but a friend of ours nearly had to have an amputation for similar circumstances because he did not seek immediate medical help. He is now able to walk slowly after TWO years. Incidentally I also have ingrown toenails and the owner cut my skin near the quick, but it appears OK. Please be aware of this condition and use a podiatrist. MR read more
