I contacted multiple greater St. Louis area luxury limo and winery tour transportation services before deciding to go with Platinum Limo STL, aka Platinum Limousine. This was my first time booking a luxury party bus and I did a fair amount of research. I needed a spacious bus to accommodate my party, who varied in age and needs. I didn't want to be taken advantage of and needed extra reassurance...which the owners Bill and Tina Lamb provided for me. Platinum Limousine has been in business since 2015, however you should know that Bill has been in the business as a driver for over a decade. At this juncture, they have one 30-passenger luxury limo bus which they maintain very well. They arranged for me a viewing of the the bus prior to the day of the event so I knew exactly what I was booking. They provided me with the DOT number so I could research the bus more. On the day of our event, the bus arrived on time, was beautifully maintained/clean, stocked with cooled soda and water, drinking glasses, equipped with a clean bathroom at the front of the bus, auxillary jack for playing music using my phone. Cool lighting on the bus that would be great for night-time, however we had a daytime trip so we opened the window curtains. There is also a screen for playing DVDs if you like, although if you are planning to use it to play a slideshow of pictures, you'll want to trial it prior to your event so that you have the proper application. We had fairly short trips between our destinations so this was not a big deal for us. The seating style is a nice limo style seating with comfortable side benches rather than rowed seats that face forward. Platinum Limo allows you to bring your own coolers, food, and drinks including open wine bottles on the bus...they reasonably request that you don't bring extra messy/hard to clean foods like potato chips. Saturdays are when these services are in highest demand and Platinum Limo provided hands down the best deal I could find! Most companies quoted a much higher rate than Platinum Limo. There was only one other company with a similar bus that quoted the same 6-hour rate as Platinum Limo, however the other company did not provide on-board amenities like Platinum Limo does. There was no extra cost for my custom itinerary with multiple pick-ups in Augusta, transportation between 3 different wineries, and drop offs back in Augusta. My 6 hours started at the time of pick-up and ended at the time of drop-off...which was awesome that they didn't deduct time for bus travel en route to pick-up. There were no hidden fees or extra costs for fuel or otherwise. Our driver was gracious, professional, courteous, punctual, and safe on the very winding roads! Our party had such a great day at the wineries without any transportation worries. Bill and Tina are utmost professionals who exceeded my expectations. I recommend Platinum Limo STL and will definitely choose them the next time I am need of group transportation in the area.

We didn't have a bad experience per se, but the Hampton next door is DEFINITELY nicer. The staff were such a mixed bag. The lady who checked us in was super friendly, but the guy who was bald and wearing a mask was extremely rude when we went to check out. He didn't even let us get a word in! The room was modern and decently clean, besides a pillow with a dried blood droplet on it. Yuck! Luckily, the front desk lady switched the pillow out for us. There is Netflix and Prime Video on the TV's, so that's a plus! Also, free breakfast, but it was not very good. The on site store is nicely stocked and very clean. The pool area looked clean and well maintained although we didn't use it. The park is very shaded and well laid out even though the sites are very close together. The shower house by the playground was clean if very spare in amenities. Good water pressure and very hot water. The multi spray shower head worked well. However- the shower curtains in the men's shower are not wide enough to keep the water from the shower from splashing all the way to the doorway and soaking your dry towel and clothes on the provided bench. One of them was a full 5 inches from the wall. There is no shelf in the shower area. The main problem we had was the website clearly shows cooking grates at the sites. So $75 in meat was brought to grill and they only had a fire pit at the site. So s trip to another town and $65 for a charcoal grill and dinner finally happened 3 hours late.

The four of us are in our 60s, we aren't young kids that play music really super loud. There was no on either side of us. Nor behind us it was a big open field. The manager Loretta over to our site guns a blazing telling us that we to turn the music down that she was getting a bunch of complaints actually the band was still breaking down and the food truck just left and we were having a conversation so there's no way that the music was loud. My husband jokingly said well as soon as you leave, we'll just turn it back up lol even meeting this couple for the very first time they knew that he was joking as I did also. she told us that we should pack up and leave right then and there, knowing that we were drinking alcoholic beverages all day. Who does that kind of stuff nobody I know. I would never allow anybody to leave my home after drinking all day. She tried to come and talk to me the next day, but she has a hair up her ass for my husband. She always seems to have something to bitch about and we spend a lot of money there. we will never go back there. Also, the place is a mess. There was an inch and a half of water in the bathrooms by the pool. The pool was so scummy and disgusting. And if she thinks we were making loud noise, try going to playground at 11:30 at night when there's a bunch of kids running around and screaming and playing until their parents decide to go and tell to come in. 1130 at night kids at a playground. Yet she has to yell at 60 year old people for having a radio on please. Loretta is disrespectful talks bad about her other employees which she can't keep anybody there they quit and they talk bad about her too.
