    Acrylic shellac

I love this place! I have trust issues when it comes to nail salons but I'm glad I found a good one in the Allendale area. I always see Bao he does amazing with my acrylics! Always clean and friendly. I recommend calling ahead a few hours early to set an appointment in case it gets busy. Overall always a great experience!

They did a terrible job!!! The color is off and the shape is completely wrong. I would definitely not recommend this place.

I usually go to a nail salon in Grand Haven, but living in Allendale I sometimes do not want to make the drive. I started getting my nail done with Mike and he is awesome. He always makes my nails look just how I want them. I went in today for a pedicure and didn't request anyone because I thought "no one can mess up a pedicure," I was wrong. I came in with my toe tails a little longer than usual and while getting them done the younger guy said "sorry i cut them short." I assumed he was taking about my big toes because he cut them shorter than usual. As i'm sitting there drying them, I looked down and noticed that he completely cut my toe nail off, and there was a little tiny nub of a nail left. I asked for my money back all my nails were crooked, there was paint all over my skin, and my short toe nail. I will never go back and just make my drive to Grand Haven from now on.

Stopped in last minute for 3 nails got in right away. Definitely one of the best I have had, my technician was very friendly. They have the largest rooms so everyone wasn't crowded and their prices are great.

The pic on the right is the photo i showed her for the style and print. I got the one on the left and was charged 50 bucks forit

This had to be the worst place I've been to. I seriously get my nails done all the time and it was like pulling teeth. I was on a time budget so I couldn't get them redone, but I will never waste my money here again. I wanted a fan tip full gel full set, with leopard print done to the tips. And I got neither. THEN I was charged 50 bucks for it. As I was trying to pay with my card, he just pointed to a sign that they don't take plastic... So I had to go into family fare and get cash back. Ugh. I'm so heart broken and embarrassed on how these turned out. I work with my hands as a bartender, and usually everyone compliments my nails. All I got for 3 days instead was pity. And they won't do anything about it. LESSON LEARNED. Of you want janky cheap looking nails, and want to waste your money, GO HERE!

me and my mom went in to get our nails done, my mom got shellac and had a lady that was really sweet her experience was great! i got acrylic with shellac polish and the guy that did them (i'm not sure his name it was a month ago or so) but he was so rough and was rude!!! he was yanking my hand around and even smacked my hand a couple times i was shocked i've never had a nail tech do that to me before but he was going so fast as if he was in a rush to get done quick and he cut me a (which is understandable i guess it can happen with anyone) but not just once, it was three or four times. then when painting the nails he did a horrible job he got it all over my skin and wouldn't even wipe it off he just left it there, and he didn't let the polish dry fully under the uv light because he was rushing- when he finished paining one hand he made me take my other hand out from under the light before it finished curing. on top of all that when the glue was on my skin he'd use his sharp nails to dig it off and separate my nail from my skin which was so painful it was honestly really hard to not get up and leave. when we paid my jaw dropped because of the price i got, ive never paid so much for plain nails that came out so messy (apparently here they make you pay for shellac AND acrylic which the place i normally go to doesn't make you do) but aside from all that the shape was good, once i cleaned off the nail polish mess he left me with it looked good, and they had good music playing ‍--for the pictures i posted keep in mind this is AFTER i already picked a bunch of the polish off my skin, what's left on in the pictures is what i needed nail polish remover to get off smh--

Came in for my wedding and asked for my cuticles to be cleaned up. He wouldn't go shorter on white even when I asked. Paid to have redone..

Our pedicure was $168 before tip. $20 of this price was unknown as to where it came from as the pedicure should've been $59 each plus $15 each for gel.. Given the price we had high expectations as where we normally go for our pedi is priced similar but with a completely different spa like experience. Let me start by saying that the menu we were handed was covered in some sort of goop and I was shocked that they wouldn't clean it off or offer a towel for our hands. We picked the third highest pedicure on their list that supposedly had offerings that the entry level pedicures didn't. But, since the lady next to me picked the cheapest pedicure I found out we got the exact same pedicure for different prices? They used the same oils and lotions out of bottles that look like they would hold ketchup at a BBQ restaurant with no label so who knows what it actually was. Normally, when you choose different pedis a nice salon will have different scents to choose from or a bath bomb or scented salt soak for your feet or specially scented oils but nope. Just unscented what seems to look like vegetable oil. Additionally, we weren't offered a drink. We weren't told where the massage remote was for our chairs causing us to go half of our pedicure without one, we were given extremely rushed leg massages with a max time of 5 minutes and at the end, the girl who gave my pedicure just walked away and never came back. I sat there wondering should I put on my shoes and go pay or if she would return? To add to this as if it isn't bad enough, we also didn't get the reflexology that is mentioned on their menu. The menu is filled with fluff that isn't clear on what you will receive. If you do decide to go here, which I advise against, just get the cheapest and prepare for disappointment.

The space is well lit with chandeliers and clean. I was thinking about checking out Sara's Nails but then found Elite Nails & Spa on Yelp. Not having to cross the East Beltline was kind of a bonus so I gave them a call to see if they had any availability for that afternoon - which they did! I walked in and was greeted right away and asked what I was in for. They do seem to take appointments as a couple people came in after me and mentioned their appointment. However, one group was turned away because they were late for their time slot - so be timely if you have a reservation. I chose a nail polish from the huge selection - I will say that many of the polishes looked like they were separating. I don't know that much about nail polish (remember, I only get a pedicure like once a year lol) but that kind of seemed like maybe they were old. I'm sure you can also bring your own polish if you have one that you like. I got seated quickly and the pedicure was pleasant. They have a few options for pedicures at different price points. I wasn't asked which level I wanted, nor did I specify, but I ended up getting the Basic pedicure for $35, which I feel is reasonably priced and in line with other spots I've been to in the past. The scrub and hot towels were nice. The pedicure itself was gentle and I was really pleased with the results. They do take credit cards for payment, but their receipt slips don't have a tip line, so you can either let them know you'd like to add a tip before they run your card, or they can run it again for the tip amount. They do prefer tips in cash, so I'll be sure to bring some next time.

From the moment it started, I could feel all the stress melt away. It was the perfect balance of soothing and revitalizing, and I genuinely left feeling reset. I also received a Swedish body balance massage which was just as amazing. It was customized to exactly what I needed, with the perfect pressure and attention to detail. The entire experience felt luxurious, intentional, and well-paced--never rushed. The spa just recently went through a renovation and although it was beautiful before, I was super impressed with the additions. It was spotless, calming, and beautifully set up, which only added to the overall sense of relaxation. If you're looking for a place that delivers real results and total relaxation, this is it. The ladies who performed my services (Macey and Niki) were phenomenal. Their skill level, professionalism, and attention to detail truly stood out. During both the head spa service and massage, they checked in at all the right moments, adjusted pressure perfectly, and created such a calming, welcoming atmosphere. It's rare to find technicians who combine technical expertise with such a warm, thoughtful approach.
