Went to Angel nails had my nails done pink four days later they turned blotchy orange. I did not use any lotions cleaners anything that I do not normally use when all the years I've been getting my nails done. I went to the owner he said he's never seen that before and told me to pick another color. Which I understood mean he was going to make good on what I just paid for four days ago. Got my nails done he charge me full price for a new paint when I just paid for that four days ago. I was livid I will never step foot back in that place again! My full sets always last till the next fill, and they always fit me in last minute and do a great job. I have been coming here for years.

I've been here a number of times for pedicures, gel manicures, and dip powder. The employees are quiet but friendly. The last time I was there I was a walk-in and was getting dip and went to pick a color and had about 10 seconds before being rushed to sit down to start which I didn't appreciate. Normally I have several minutes to pick a color but this nail tech in particular was rushing me and took the color swatches out of my hand to hurry me to her station. I feel bad name dropping anyone but Jessica puts color on extremely thick, regardless of what it is (shellac, dip, etc). It doesn't look good and is lumpy and uneven. Henry is more meticulous and is very good. There's another man who's done my dip and he was great too but I didn't catch his name. I recommend coming here but make an appointment with someone you like or have heard is good. read more

It's hard to find a good nail salon, but I'm SO glad I took my niece's recommendation and came here with my daughters and their best friend!! Not only were they extremely patient and sweet with the girls, but I got an AMAZING pedicure! Nice, deep massage - I could hardly walk, my feet were so relaxed after! We will DEFINITELY be coming here regularly!! My girls LOVE their toes, and their best friend was so excited about her first pedicure!! This is definitely our new favorite place!! read more

Very awful service for both my friend and I. Went in before close and payed owner before he left. After he left our manicurists turned into different people. Tried to charge more and pretend to not understand us. I refused to pay more bc we already payed owner so the one lady started throwing things and flipping out. WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. I have given this place quite a few chances. Now I am done. I used to figure I could put up with the atmosphere of such a place for the convenience and relatively low price. Today, I was told that a basic pedicure does not include a buffing of your heels. Since when??? So a $10 up charge. And honestly, my heels aren't even soft and the tips of my toes don't look good. The staff is about 50 50 in terms of Pleasant or not. I am done with this place. For $35, I can go to a peaceful relaxing spa and get a really good job done. At Angel nails on red pump Road, $35 Plus a tip for a crappy job, done roughly by a rude woman is a RIP OFF!!! read more

Went in with an appointment, was getting a full set with gel polish. My lady was OBVIOUSLY rushing with no quality work. Asked for coffin cut and all were uneven and just ugly looking. The polish was not smooth and on my thumb had a huge bubble that popped that night leaving a ugly layer on my nail. Broke a nail a couple days later and went back to get it fixed for free, had the same lady and she was very rude. She was rude when i didn't hear her say something. never again! read more

We did not wait long. However I took my daughter here to get her nails done for her prom and the lady who did her nails messed up on them 3 separate times. The final time she messed up my daughter didn't even tell her to fix them. Needless to say we know where not to go next time. Will be getting them repainted elsewhere. read more

I have been loyal to this place for years. Sadly the service has gone down hill. After a pedicure I expressed my concern with the polish being all over the toes the operator told me that it's bc my nails are to small?!? Sorry but I've never had this problem. My fingernails turned out perfectly. Probably one of the best and detailed nail appointments I've had. However, my polish change on my toes wasn't great, and my toenails feel jagged. My big toe has been sore around my nail as well, so hoping that this wasn't the cause. Clean and friendly, though! Will be back for my fills. read more

Would not recommend. I took my seven year old daughter here and she was so excited to get her first mani/pedi. The massage chair was not turned on for her, her polish for her flower was not used as requested and the flower looked terrible. Her manicurist was not very nice. Also they were playing some cartoon from 1960 for her which she hated. I felt her service was very rushed. My manicurist was a bit better but barely did any cuticle work. The only reason I have been loyal to this place is because of Sana--she's my girl! However, she doesn't do full-sets and every time I go to get my nails done, they aren't perfect. I realize we are all human but I am paying money to have my nails look fabulous and they are usually less then. The prices are comparable to other Bel Air salons and it is clean! I'm new to Forest Hill..after trying another salon first, I decided to give Angel Nail a try...after using Angel for 6 months, I can't return...for 6 months consistently, I've always made an appointment with same technician...however, every time I enter the salon, the owner looks at me like I might be lost and asks "can we help you?"; there is a clique like atmosphere among the staff bordering on providing so-so customer service skills...I'm not much of conversationalist, but I do possess acceptable social skills...I'm a psych nurse and can read people pretty well...my nail technician is good (anticipating the $10 tip for gel nails and eyebrow waxing, $15 tip if I get a manicure!!)... Every time my eyebrows are waxed, the female technicians wax my eyebrows in a hurry...not once have I been asked if the job is all right as they rush out of room!... I moved here from Middle River where I received OUTSTANDING service at NAIL SPA in the HYDE PARK SHOPPING CENTER in ESSEX...if it wasn't for the distance, I'd still be there...(considering biting the bullet, forgetting the commute and returning)...it has been my observation, Angel is not very welcoming to new clients and/or minority clients...if you're a 50+ year old Caucasian female or an "acceptable" appearing client this is your salon...one eyebrow technician was very surprised this FORMER African American female client was over 60!!!... Now I'm searching for a more welcoming and hospitable nail salon... I do not recommend this salon based on my perception of the staff/management being dismissive and lacking inclusive customer service skills. read more

The salon is very clean with a friendly staff who welcomes everyone as they arrive. Brand new pedicure chairs and wonderful overall atmosphere. My mother and I have been getting our nails done by Michael (the owner) for over 20 years because he is amazing! I also take my daughters there for mani pedi's and they love it! We were so happy for him to open his own shop and we followed him there to continue pampering ourselves. Would highly recommend this to anyone. read more

I went in to get my eyebrows waxed at 7:30 (yes, a good half hour before they closed). When I walked in, I was not acknowledged, probably because they thought I was coming in to get my nails done. Finally, I was "greeted" in a very cold/rude tone to be helped and said I needed an eyebrow wax. My eyebrows looked okay, but when I went to pay, the woman who had done the wax for me told me it would be $8. I handed her a $20 bill and said I would need $10 back. (Meaning she would be getting a $2 tip) As she walked back to her nail table, she rolled her eyes and looked at her other coworkers for a reaction. I don't get my nails done here anymore because the gel nails never last, they rush through to get you in and out with no quality work. Needless to say, I won't be going back for any wax or nails because of the rude customer service. read more
