Luckily, I haven't had any issues since finding Cee. This service would easily be awkward with the wrong person, but she always keeps me at ease as if I'm catching up with a friend. She is personable and great at her craft. I'm always super smooth when I leave, with minimal pain (there will be some level of pain during your waxing, so set your expectations. The more you go, the less pain there will be). In addition, I enjoy her online booking because I like to plan my self care in advance. She is popular and tends to books up quickly. I truly felt comfortable getting my nails done here, despite everything going on. Also, Fallon did an amazing job! She took her time & honestly my nails look amazing. I got them done for my engagement photos & I was so pleased with the outcome I booked another appointment before my vacation. I will say that the pricing is average or a little above average, but you definitely get what you pay for. I think the overall atmosphere of the beauty bar adds a more upscale feel and makes getting pampered more of a treat. I will definitely make this my new go to nail salon in Bel Air!

This was my first time visiting…read more Positives: The salon itself was very welcoming and had a nice aesthetic. The person at the front desk was very friendly and so was my aesthetician. The private room was very calming and relaxing while having my facial and I felt very relaxed when I left. Negatives: the facial itself didn't yield any results for me. I had a hydrafacial, with my main areas of concern being hydration and to help with the signs of aging. Unfortunately neither occurred. My face was smoother and brighter for maybe 2 days afterwards but it was also very tight and dry. The fine lines around my eyes and mouth were more pronounced and noticeable than they were before. I did see a temporary reduction in blackheads around my nose, but less than a week later, my skin was back to being dry, dull and flaky like it was before. UPDATE: Two weeks later and my skin is breaking out like crazy and peeling in some places. I have texture where I didn't have it before. It looks worse than before I went. I'm disappointed that I didn't see any positive results and angry because of the breakouts and other adverse side effects. I will NOT go back again.

Scheduling is extremely limited, and there was a clear lack of communication around availability. While I understand prioritizing existing clients, there appears to be little effort to accommodate new or prospective clients. Additionally, I couldn't help but feel I was treated differently because I used a Groupon voucher. The service I received came across as secondhand, as if my business was less valuable. Regardless of how a customer books, the quality of service should remain consistent. For the record I did in fact include all messages between me and the merchant if I can even call her that for the lack of service provided. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I would not recommend it to others.

It was well decorated and felt like a "proper salon" whatever that means. But it's just a vibe I wanted to write about. SERVICE: Everyone was very friendly. It was just all around clearly good at handling my hair. I have found some hair stylists did struggle with my thicker South Asian hair but she was good. Clearly has the experience. Also apparently she does make-up too. PRICE: for my haircut and blowout was $60 without the tip. The tips must be paid in cash I believe. PARKING: behind the building. And on Saturdays this place is very close to the Bel Air Farmer's market. Just saying you can get some nice flowers and a great cut together. So overall, I would really recommend this place. Tara made me feel so comfortable, like we had known each other for years. She is an independent business owner with a ton of experience. She kept me happily engaged while she waxed me, and it did not feel nearly as bad as I was expecting it to! Honestly, it only stung for a second or two, and less than an upper lip wax, but if you psych yourself out, your first wax can be almost pain free, and then it just gets easier from there!! My only issue is her location is 22 minutes from my house, but I'm totally making the drive because she is fantastic, and it's worth it.
