I've been coming here for years for a couple of my items. I always forget to ask the lady what her name is because she's so sweet and I always get my pants altered in an hour. I usually pay $10-12 to hem pants. Super cheap! I love it. Her sewing is perfect and I never see any imperfections. I also came here before to get my bridesmaid dress altered and it took a couple of days. Went in because I decided I was going to cut off the sleeves on one of my hoodies and go sleeveless. Well, I cut them uneven and it was obvious and it was a good quality shirt. Went In To angel alterations and after I got that look from the lady in the shop, she said, I'll fix it. 2 day turnaround and she evened out the hoodie and looked like it was made that way. It was hard to find with GPS. It's in the Pep Boys parking lot. She was Quick and got the job done. Cash only. She said she couldn't move the embroidered original hemline of dress. She shortened it in a pinch that fine. The hem just didn't have the finished look if the original. I needed it the next day! I haven't had the dress cleaned yet but I wanted to show her work. I was impressed by the good reviews for this alteration shop and as I needed a dress altered for my in-laws upcoming vow renewal, I decided to give it a try. I was surprised when the lady told me she couldn't help me take in my dress. Her reasoning was because the dress has a zipper on the side instead of in the back. She said there was nothing she could do. I called my usual seamstress in Riverside and she disagreed stating that she just didn't want to have to remove the zipper to take in the dress because it's a little more work but it's not something that can't be done. I would have paid for the work but she didn't even give me the chance. Just told me she couldn't fix my dress. I'd rather go to a seamstress who knows what's she's doing and isn't lazy. read more
