I come to this location very often to get the one thing I love every time-- the Oreo concrete! I love how it's usually so packed with chunky oreos throughout. However, I went last night and got the same thing, but when they were giving it to me I didn't even think it was mine because It just looked like vanilla ice cream in a cup. It had so very few pieces of Oreo in it compared to every other time. I asked if I could get more oreos since I got the Oreo concrete and not just vanilla ice cream, and one of the guys with glasses said he put the normal amount and I'd have to pay for any extra. I'm not sure how that was the "normal' amount when there was basically like one cookie throughout the whole cup. I was pretty upset cause it wasn't entirely what I wanted. Maybe I should've just gotten vanilla ice cream instead. read more

Went here to celebrate Father's Day early. It was raining but this was the dessert for the evening. They do have a drive through but that wouldn't have been much fun We were greeted as soon as we arrived. First there are so many choices so we needed a few minutes. After asking a lot of questions we made decisions. The young man was very helpful and patient. I was full from dinner so I got a sundae with raspberries. My guy decided to get a new option...blueberry cobbler concrete. After we placed our order many people came in. The young man was just as patient with them. We enjoyed our dessert immensely! read more

Amazing employees and super fast service ice cream was great! Will definitely recommend!

We were heading to another desert place and when we got there the parking lot was packed full. We passed Andy's in the way and turned around. I got a Double Double Chocolate Malt. It was pretty good. Places. Never use enough malt, but I could actually taste this in every sip. Husband got a Chocolate Cement Mixer and he was very pleased. We don't have an Andy's in our area but if we did in know my husband would be a frequent customer. read more

One* Employee make ordering ice cream incredibly difficult. Prices are high, but that custard are good..

After visiting this location with an friend and we had our 2 kids. Of course kids can be a little loud so after ordering we went outside. Kids will be kids and be a little loud mind you they are already on a loud street. Then some Hispanic girl with glasses came up to us ask us to keep tell our kids to be quiet because she wasn't able to hear orders mind you while trucks, motorcycles loud cars are going bye loud as ever and complain about 2 kids. After all this is a icecream place why can't kids be kids it's I felt that was very disrespectful especially interrupting us mid convo as she continued to do orders or take order she was opening the door aggressively making noises mumbling things under her breath never have I ever experienced Andy's like I did today I've been coming here for over 8 years today's customer service there was definitely not it. Don't come here if you don't want your kids to be told to be quiet. When they are outside. If I could give it negative stars I would. Manager on duty seemed to kind of brush me off didn't seem to care. Do better. Be kid friendly after all it's just icecream. read more

I took my dad yesterday and it was a great treat for him he got the peach custard and I got a twist cone. He said it had been decades since he had peach custard so he was a happy camper. It was 88 degrees out and he could not eat it fast enough. We were just confused with the ordering process because nothing told us to order at the window. read more

We had no intention of getting desert, but we drove by and did a U-turn when we saw how cute it looked. It was around 10 PM, and there were maybe like 5 customers in there. There's not a lot of seating, so it's definitely more of a drive thru place. We did sit outside on some benches, though. I got the Stolen Brownie Sundae. It probably had more brownie than custard but that it totally perfect for me, since I loooove brownies. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and paired perfectly with the vanilla custard. Service is pretty fast. They had our order within 2 minutes of putting it in. There is parking here. read more

We decided to visit this location since it was closer to my house. Ordered the Andy's Turtle Split very disappointed hardly any hot fudge and pecans . The girl at the counter had an attitude. She also had me waiting so by the time I received my order the ice cream was melting. Will never attend this location. read more

Three times is a charm! I guess an Andy's location near my house is the charm! I come here every once in a while. It's a big treat! Andy's itself might be small, but it's clean and fantastic! The service here is great! The staff are nice! I always get the Boot Daddy concrete. It's named after a horse which is interesting. The toppings are vanilla custard, caramel, hot fudge, and Oreos. The ice cream has excellent richness in it. The toppings are a great choice for a concrete! I'm always getting my Boot Daddy! I got another concrete to try as well. It's called the James Brownie Funky Jackhammer. There are brownies and peanut butter in the middle. The custard is fantastic as always! The brownies are great, and the peanut butter was really good! The peanut butter is gooey (in a great way) and delicious! All in all, fantastic custard and great service! That's what I call a perfect ice cream place! You probably know from this review that I will be coming back! read more

Frozen custard made fresh every hour, it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for which is quality. The thing about frozen custard is you have to eat it fast before it turns into into liquid. My personal favorites are the james brownie funky jackhammer(a mouthful to say) and the Cookie Casanova which is SADLY SEASONAL, so i have to wait all year long for it. PLEASE add it to your permanent menu Andy's!!! read more

I love Andy's! If I go every week like I have been, I"ll be as wide as my car! However, if you're ever within the vicinity of the one on Harlem, the service is nice, but the custard is outstanding! My favorites, the Key Lime (which is seasonal) I recommend adding strawberries and bananas for an orgasmic experience. Or try the StrawNana which is a great substitute in case they're out of the Key Lime. Awesome! read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. this is the worst Andy's custard I've had in my life. I got the strawberry shortcake sunday and the cake was rock hard, I paid for extra strawberries and got 4 total never ever take your kids here its such a disappoint I expected better. read more

This place is horrible. First time I went there, they didn't put cookie dough in my cookie dough mixer. Just got a large cup of vanilla. Second time they forgot my daughters ice cream and gave me a shake that was like milk. Third time, they ran out of frozen custard. Definitely not going back. read more

This place is open pretty late, I came here at about 9:30pm for the first time and the drive through was packed so I parked and went in. All they have are Vanilla and Chocolate I think, no other flavors, but they'll put whatever you want on it. My daughter wanted strawberry ice cream and they suggested vanilla and adding strawberries to it which was a no. We went with a brownie sunday and we were not disappointed. Would go back for that again. read more

Here's what you need to know: Andy's ROCKS. While I recently patronized this location for the first time, I am *not* new to the deliciousness that is Andy's. I fell in love in Bolingbrook and later, latched on to the (closer) Oak Lawn spot. Burbank is even a hair closer! If we could get an Andy's in Oak Forest? I'd probably eat my weight in frozen deliciousness in about a week's time. Maybe less. Probably definitely less. Let's just call a spade a spade. There's a well-known Custard chain that boasts amazing cold confections...and falls rather short of that claim (consistently...blech). Andy's always serves quality custard. You're only eating super-fresh frozen custard and that is not lost on anyone's taste buds. The prices are reasonable (competitive, fair), and service is always amazing. I get the feeling that training is heavy on being personable. At our last visit a few days ago, a pleasant young woman greeted us at the drive thru with a smile & a "thanks for stopping by Andy's; how are you today?". After a long morning, it really does make a difference. We hit the drive thru but from what we could see, the establishment was clean (they stay on top of things at Andy's). My husband ordered his favorite (the James Brownie--Vanilla custard blended with peanut butter and brownies & then filled with hot fudge) & said it was spot on perfect. The consistency is always amazing. Never too firm, but not liquidy, either. Andy is a man who knows what he's doing. And his custard never fails to meet--and exceed--the mark. Five stars, easy. Go get a James Brownie. It's amazing & you deserve it. :) read more

I've been to Andy's a few times, primarily the one on 95th Cicero. Came here on a Friday night and didn't like my visit here at all. The place was full of rowdy teenagers and they decided before leaving it would be a good idea to bring in an outside drink and spill it on the floor because she was too lazy to find a garbage. Nobody cleaned up their mess for the duration of our visit. The place has this weird depressing vibe to it if your inside and it's not the summer. Ice cream isn't bad, it's okay. Not the greatest. I probably won't come back. read more
