i would have given them five stars because the floors were installed excellently. They had to match the previously floors done in 2015, which they did and thankfully the company still had the same hardwood. Eric was great to work with, but his workers not so much. My kitchen opens to the living room and dining room. They left fine dust on everything, they turned off the water in the downstairs bathroom, which i did not know and when confronted they denied touching it, even though they had to remove the sink to install the floor. I feel that the attitude of the two workers could have been better between consumer and company, otherwise the floors look great. read more

We just got our carpet replaced by Andy's 5 Star Flooring after a few years of living with the old carpet that was in our house when we bought it. I wish we had done it right away instead of waiting! The difference is amazing - it completely transforms the look and feel. Eric was incredibly helpful with choosing the correct carpet for our space. We had seen some carpet samples when browsing Home Depot that we liked, so he was able to bring a selection of carpet samples to our house that fell within a similar category. The carpet he showed us was a much higher quality that what we had seen at Home Depot, was basically the same price, and we were able to pick the perfect color swatch to go with the rest of our decor. It took less than two weeks from the point that we made our carpet decision for them to order the carpet and come install it. The guys who did the install were wonderful - on time, polite, precise, and did a great job. They moved all of our heavy furniture without a problem and even put it back exactly how it was originally. The carpet itself is beyond compare. It's the softest, plushest carpet I've ever felt and we can't get over how it feels as we walk on it. Getting rid of the old, tired carpet and replacing it with this was a great decision and makes the rooms feel brand new! read more

We had a sales rep from Andy's out to give us a bid. The sales guy was 45 mins late to the appointment to start off and did not call to let us know he was running behind until after the arrival time had come and gone. Once here we were told that a natural product for what we wanted to do was not available and we should go with an engineered product. We will did not want that. I said ok well, write us up a bid for the product anyway with installation labor. A week went by with no email or phone call with the bid. I sent and email and text asking for an update. Still nothing. I then sent the company a message on Yelp letting them know that we were disappointed and would appreciate someone touching base with us about the flooring project. That was a week ago and still no response. Sad that a company that has good reviews like this one dropped the ball so hard on us. I wasted a day of work to be home to meet with there sales rep. It's possible the job was just not one they wanted to do and if that was the case that's fine. Tell the client that. I would have simply moved on and left no review at all. Shame on Andy's for wasting my time. read more

In October, Andy's replaced our hardwood flooring. There are obvious defects with some of the flooring and, for months, we've gotten the runaround. I had been dealing with Dave Trainor, and then he stopped returning answering or returning messages. Dave inspected alone and with the distributor. Nothing happened before he stopped responding. Then George got involved, dropped off additional flooring to acclimate, and scheduled a repair. The installer he sent stopped in mid-repair because he found the flooring to be defective and incapable of repair. When it appeared the problem was bigger than anticipated, a different Dave (who runs the store, as he told me) showed up to tell me why he didn't agree that there are any defects, and why he needed to make sure the distributor made them whole, putting us in the middle. Andy's thinks the distributor should pay, the distributor thinks Andy's should pay, while we've already paid. After the second Dave inspected, Andy actually called and asked if he could have an expert come by and look at the floors. I agreed, and the inspection happened on 12/7. I've heard nothing from Andy since late November and the repairs are still not scheduled. read more

Absolutely worse customer service possible! One star is too many for this company. This story started 4 years ago when I used Andy's to replace some carpet in my main living area in my home. I purchased the high end Stain Master Pet carpet they offered plus high end carpet pad. At the time everything seemed to go well and I asked for them to give me an estimate to replace the carpet in 3 other rooms. NEVER heard back from them so a few years later I just put in solid wood floors instead, using another company. Fast forward and my carpet is beyond stained(professionals cannot clean) and it is bunching up in 3 places in 2 different rooms! I called and they made an appointment for Dave T. to come to my home to verify my claims and take pictures to send to the manufacturer. The time for Dave to arrive came and went with out a call to say " sorry I am lost" and ask for directions...nothing so I called the store and they were also bewildered but called Dave and he finally showed up. While here I asked Dave to give me an estimate to replace all the carpet in my entire upstairs as well as the stairs. He spent a while measuring and told me he would have an estimate to me in a few days and would contact the Carpet representative regarding my other carpet. Sounds great! A month went by and not a single word from Dave. I called many times with no response. I talked to the store manager whom after a few days left me a voicemail with a number for me to call and make my own claim. Still no estimate for the rest of the home which would have easily been $10- 12 thousand dollars. I am pretty sure this "company" is a front for something as they are not there to have carpet business. All in all such a waste of time. I cannot express to anyone how quickly they should avoid this place. Go to Lowes or Home Depot! read more

STOP! Whoever you are getting flooring bids from - go no further. New to the area, we naively chose another flooring company in Lynnwood (Summit Interiors). That work is now being ripped up: laminate, baseboards, everything. Prior to this, we called in Andy's 5 Star for an opinion on what we felt were "problems" with our installation. 5 Star sent an extremely competent craftsman with extensive experience; he diagnosed all the mistakes made in our entire condo. (Yes, we replaced all the flooring in our new condo. These people know the flooring business. They are not only competent, they offer reasonable prices, quality materials and professional installation. There is no other choice - unless you want to make the mistake we did and now have to move out while our condo flooring and baseboards are demolished, the cement floor properly leveled, and then the flooring totally reinstalled properly. We are incurring moving, storage and hotel lodging expenses due to Summit Interiors. If only we had known about 5 Stars!!! read more

My experience of purchasing carpet from this place recently had been great. Dave Trainor my sales person was knowledgeable and friendly and pricing was reasonable. Chris the installer came within the estimated time range promised and the carpet installation was really well, I couldn't tell where the seam was had I not seen him installing the carpet (my wife couldn't figure out where the seam was). Overall it's a great experience buying a carpet from here, will definitely come back in the future when i have needs for more carpeting. Floor specialists should know that coming into people's houses would require for them to be polite enough to take their shoes off. Eric, the salesman, brought flooring samples of the product I wanted installed for me to look at, gave me a very reasonable bid, and we scheduled a day for them to come out. Easy peasy! Moving a washer and dryer, a dresser and a queen size bed was included in the price, and no other flooring company offered that. We just had our entire bottom floor completed by Andy's 5 Star Flooring, we had carpet over everything but the kitchen, we had pet stains ect ect, they did an amazing job, down to the last detail- it's honestly perfect, we originally got a quote through Costco, they use Haight carpet/flooring Woodinville, their quote was exactly DOUBLE then that of Andy's for the same exact product, we also had Andy's replace all the baseboards, also- Haight had only 5 choices for baseboards and it was that fake pressed board crap, Andy's had over 25+ choices which most were real quality wood and their showroom in Bothell has each one all displayed each is a 3or 4" piece so you can really see it, see the design, the quality- everything, don't waste your money, these are the guys to go with- friendly as heck also, I worked with Dave, one other thing- the Costco/Haight company wanted ALL THE MONEY UP FRONT, ALL, Andy's was 1/2 down, other half when done (like normal company behavior) read more

We visited the showroom of Seattle Style flooring in Ballard which is a sister company of 4 Star Flooring for our basement hardwood project. Scott was great at explaining the +s and -s of each type of flooring for a basement. We decided to go with the 10mm Laminate. During the measurement, Scott and the Installer pointed out limitations so I knew upfront on what it would look/feel like. Harry Completed the job in 2 days in Record time and it is Perfect. We bought carpet and pad for our 1900 sq foot home in Bothell back in June and were blown away with the customer service and quality (carpet and installation). Pricing was also very competitive. We sold that home in December (many of the potential buyers commented on the high quality and feel of the carpet). Everyone was very professional. Eric gave us an accurate estimate. The new carpeting looks great, and I see no issues in any room where it was laid. I couldn't make it back to the house before the installers left. I had asked if they could re-hang maybe a couple doors, thinking I'd be here to see if they dragged along the new carpeting.
