Looking at the picture we knew we had to give it try. What cool comfortable place with lots of history behind the building. The owner served us lunch and provided a history behind the restaurant, the recipes and where they get their food products. Their bread is local and their meat is from Usinger's in Milwaukee, WI. I love that place and their products. Well let's get onto the food. I was brave and had the Smoked Liverwurst. Hadn't had it for 30 years. Since I went fishing with my grandfather. Boy it was awesome and brought back some memories. The owner gave me large slices of bread so I could make a sandwich. The mustard and fresh onions made it! My two colleagues were craving hot dogs, so they went with the Yoerg Sandwich. It's the flagship sandwich. A quartier pound dog with German cheese and a pickle spear. It was huge and tasty to say the least. It was only $9.95. Great price for lunch these days. We also had to share a pretzel that came with cheese and mustard. This has earned a spot on our lunch rotation.

From beer, wine, mead, sours, cider and flights. They rotate their drinks monthly. Love the 100% (sweet) pear cider. The food menu looks good- lots of tasty options. And cheesecake. There are 3 seating areas - the main area, a loft with a fireplace and I think there's another seating area on busy days and/or for events. Bartenders/servers are always nice! The owner knew his stuff! He knew every drink and gave great recommendations. Parking: free street parking It's a must try! Support small

So much to love!…read more LIght airy feel. The tables look comfortable, but if you have a smaller group I would recommend the table overlooking the kitchen. The bar (and kitchen) staff were super helpful in picking out beverages and food. The food cocktail menu is well organized by flavor trait- such as bitter, mineral. Each category had a full, low and no alcohol. I ordered the full alcohol bitter. Reminiscent of a Negroni but still unique and quite tasty. Our server recommended ordering family style- sharing dishes. REally glad we did. We ordered ordered a few shared plates, pasta, an entree and a vegetable . Every dish was outstanding- it's hard to pick a favorite. Dessert was well worth it- the chocolate was fantastic as well. Loved everything about the meal. I will be back.

Some tasted it and did not care for it but I liked it. $13 5 part meal with wine pairing. My wife and I shared the pairing. But 3 oz pour for each small plate and nice wines. All liked the Lambrusco and the port servings. My favorite plates were the salad and the chocolate bórdenos with Italian margarine. Our main server was TalbotS he did a great job and was very nice to talk to. The restaurant was nice and the noise level OK even as it was filled.

This breakfast burrito is packed full of everything you could ever want including wagyu steak (instead of the traditional bacon or sausage, so it's not greasy at all), avocado, eggs, potatoes, and cheese. It even came with a side salad and salsa to dip it in! For $15-16 it was a large portion and easily was 2 meals. I ordered online for pickup and it was ready quickly at the counter but the restaurant also looked cute inside so I would be interested in stopping in for a meal sometime too! They also have a coffee bar (pistachio latte was good) and free indoor parking for restaurant customers).

The place was packed, but a kind gentlemen moved over so we could have two seats at the classy bar. With service from the empathetic Patrick and the charming Alicia, we felt at home even though we had just moved to Minneapolis. Waterbury's menu has an array of interesting choices. My spouse and I split a Caesar Salad. She ordered the Crispy Tuna Tacos which are always fantastic. I devoured the Blackened Shrimp. The dish had a piquancy that added the perfect amount of kick. I loved it. With jazz on Wednesday evenings and unique menu specials, the Waterbury will grow sick of my face. It's a great restaurant.

The atmosphere of the place gives a nice relaxed and colorful vibe, and the drinks and food menu had a stunning variety. The music was performed by Javier Hernandez and his band and was beautiful. The music here will change day to day, but on this Friday evening ours was beautiful. It included piano, trumpet, bongos, drums and bass. Staff were all attentive without being overbearing and allowed us to enjoy the music, and the food ended up being fantastic. We got deviled eggs (some of the best I've ever had) and Okonomiyaki which in this case was a variation of fried sweet potato and was delicious. Drink variety ranges from fruity cocktails to wine to N.A. beer and they had something for everyone. My only complaint of the evening was the booth we sat in was not very comfortable and it required a lot of fidgeting. Other than this 5/5 experience.

Next time I go, I'll need to try a snack or get a drink! I think it would really elevate the experience.
