If I could give no stars i would. I booked my appointment days in advance. When i arrived they took me pretty much right away. The gentleman (Tom i believe) who gave my my pedicure did a great job. I was happy with the process and his time spent on my feet. However that is where this review ends on a positive note. The technician who did my hands (Peter was his name) did an awful job. Not only did he not listen to me with my request for very short nails, he also made them a round shape. Not a good round shape either. Then his polish job was not through and he didn't make my nails thin enough. I am a stay at home mom and I don't get much time away from my kids to relax. This was a waste. Also while using his grinder he sliced into my right thumb and the pain 3 days later is still excruciating. Then the absolute worst part about this experience was how my nail tech and the woman nail tech next to him basically got into a squabble together and i felt it was extremely unprofessional and killed my experience on overall vibe. Tried them out for the first time since high school, about 15 years. Would not go again. The guy who did my pedicure was way too rough. I literally have an open wound on my foot, it is bleeding. I thought the guy who did my manicure was better, but I'm in day two and one polish has completely fallen off and another chipped. Complete waste of money. read more

I went here multiple times based on reviews. The first time, I had a guy that seemed like he really didn't want to be there, Chin stepped in and did my gel nails. He did a nice job. Every. Single. Time I have been back, I have waited 20-30 minutes for him as he is always running behind. I call before my appointment to see if he's on time so I'm not just waiting. Was told tonight that he was 10 minutes behind and arrive 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Left 30 minutes after waiting another 20 minutes for him. I love this place. Been going here for years. The owners are always there. Friendly, accommodating and working hard. They have finally hired a receptionist to help them with customer appointments and walk-ins. I always get the pink and white. They have four people that do them there and do them well. I have gone to get these done at other locations and some would turn yellow color or break after a couple weeks. These nails last me 3-4 weeks without breaking or turning color. In addition - I can expect to be in and out within an hour or less. I would often be over an hour at other places around town. The man was rushing like crazy even though there was no one waiting. when he finished There were bubbles in two of my nails which he did over with an attitude, blaming me like I put the bubble there myself! Paid and left a good tip still. The next morning I woke up I had thee more nails bubbling up again. Went back in another guy fixed, came home nails did the same thing again. am new to the state and looking for a new salon. This will not be the one I chose. There were some positives but overall not happy. Pro: I called before 10am to ask for a full set of gel nails and they said they would take me right away. I had my baby with me in a sling and they were mostly sweet to her and not annoyed. I arrived shortly after calling and they were able to take me right away. I asked the guy technician to cut my cuticles and be started to try but then said I don't have enough and didn't charge me. Cons: 1. when I arrived I said gel full set and they confirmed. Then while the guy was prepping my nails I said gel again and he confirmed. Then 4 nails in and I ask is this gel and they say no it's acrylic then will use gel polish. The lady worker then comes over and says that's how all the places do it around here. I didn't want acrylic or ask for that. In fact it ruins my nails and doesn't last long. But now I am stuck and already have half my fingers done. She should have said on the phone acrylic full set with gel polish that is very different!! The acrylic on my nails was very hot and burning. I have a couple nails with a bunch of acrylic still left stuck under my nails. And my fingers are quite sore from squeezing. He did also cut 2 fingers with the manual nail file, one of which was bleeding. Overall my fingers still hurt (it's now a full 14 hours later), the acyclic nails aren't even and I have rough bubbles from the excess not being washed off. Overall just not happy with my experience and the look and feel of my nails. They should have been truthful to me and not lied. So I'm out $70 with uncomfortable nails that just look so so and will probably chip in a few days because it's not gel. (For the last 4 years I have gotten my nails done every 4 weeks with gel and absolutely loved them.) read more

They are fantastic! I am a regular and see Chien every month and he's amazing. Very friendly and always does a great job! I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years and this is the best place I've ever gone to. It is a small establishment and I highly recommend calling ahead and making an appointment or you will be waiting awhile. They can do just about any type of shape and design for you! Worst nail salon ever! My appointment was for 1:00pm and I waited for 40 minutes. I was just about to leave when nail tech told me where to sit. Got on the phone as soon as I sat down then walked away for a few minutes. When she came back she had a bowl with warm water and acetone for me to soak my nails. I have had powder dip nails for several years and been to many different salons. Usually they put a cotton ball soaked in acetone on nail and then wrap in foil. When I asked her about it she said this was faster. The strong smell of the acetone was making me sick to my stomach. I asked her just to finish getting the polish off and I left. I know that soaking hands in acetone is not good for your nails or hands. I had to use hand lotion about every three to four hours to Offset the dryness and cracking from the acetone. The shop was dirty and crowded. read more

I have been going to Andy Nails for years. Pre COVID-19 I was happy but Post COVID-19 I am delighted. The owner has done a great job renovating the shop. It looks cleaner and brighter than ever. He does an excellent job of keeping his staff busy and customers know they are a definite priority. He squeezed me in and made my day! I usually book appointments ahead because they are a very popular shop but I was grateful for the service. Tom gives the best pedicures and I enjoy being pampered and get the extra soaking and lovely smelling products hot towels and great massage. Always feel the effects for days and look forward to next appointment. Now Chien has excellent staff of techs but he is my favorite by far. His attention to detail and gentleness make the experience more than pleasant and the results are perfection every time. He is so patient and kind you feel like he really cares about you and wants you to leave happy and satisfied. Great designer,manager,artist,business owner and a hard working husband and father. I didn't know that tips are in cash only but I will know the next time I come. Which will be very soon. The pedicure massage put me literally to sleep it was so relaxing. When I walked into the salon it was really nice and seemed cleaned. I sat to get my pedicure and seen something crawling on the floor and thought it was a small bug. Once my pedicure was complete I went to dry my toes at the drying station and seen another bug and it was a roach. I was annoyed because the owner said "oh it's just a little bug". And then I relaxed about six of them happen to be died near the drying station. read more

I've been going to this place for about 2 years now. After years of shit places and people i have finally found "my" nail place. They are super nice and remember everyone! My nails only get done by three people and that's just bc of preference. David, Kathy Or Chien. David is hilarious and our conversations can get a little out of hand but when you think of nail salon talks and gossip- think of David. I love it! His appointments fill up so fast so i highly recommend calling ahead if you'd like to see him! Kathy and Chien are a little more reserved but they do a wonderful job. They never try to talk me into anything I don't want or anything that costs more. They just care that you're happy. I always like my nails a little different, I've been told that i "like to stand out" and they are always excited to see what I've come up with and never groan or roll their eyes. Let me say, I used to come to this salon all the time, but haven't been since my favorite nail tech left. I have gone back twice now and have unlucky enough to get the same male tech twice now. What a horrible experience both times. He spoke almost no English so there was no way to communicate anything. For my pedicure, he raced through the cuticle cleaning and the foot scrub. He did spend a lot of time on the massage, but really I go to get my feet cleaned and scrubbed!! I had to ask him to do more, which he did, but by then I was done. I will never go back, everyone seemed to be racing through the pedicure process. Having a pedicure, manicure and eyebrow wax today. Had an appointment for 9am. Showed up early and ladies waiting for the door to open. Good and bad sign. Good in that people will get out of bed early on a Saturday to be here and bad because my appointment time may not be honored. I was in a pedicure chair within 5 min of opening. They were prepared with a full staff for the 8 people that showed up before 9. They also managed the flow of full treatments and nail repairs well. This place was awesome. The pedicure was great with lots of massages and paraffin wax, and the gel manicure I got looked beautiful. The only problem I had was that it took 45 minutes to even be seen, even though I had made an appointment. (However, I had made the appointment the same day, so it's probably my fault.) Also, their gel manicure samples are old and don't accurately reflect the colors. I wanted tan and ended up getting pink. Other than that, the place was great. I use to love coming here. I came here to get my nails done for prom, graduation , senior picture etc. I came here today to get a Gel full set like i normally do. i haven't gotten my nails done in a while ao i did not wanna go to someone else beside somewhere i THOUGHT you would a good job. Walked in was greeted very nice sat down in a chair. I understand the guy who started my nails was very new he did not know what he was doing & cut me at first but i understand everyone has fo start somewhere. After a few minutes gone by the guy i normally go to takes over. He rudley asked me "oh short nails. what do you do bite your nails?" Him & the new guy started laughing at me. Which i did not appreciate that at all. i understand i bite my nails, but there are ways to ask someone & not laugh. Soon after he was done i looked at my nails & they looked horrible i was not gonna pay the $45 like i normally do i was gonna ask him if he could cut it in half for the 3 time he and the new guy had cut me. Then he said the price would be $50 ... $50 i looked at the board and the price said $45 i did not question the man and the only reason i tipped him was because he asked about my pregnancy. Well I guess every business has customers with a negative experience. Today was mine. The last time I went to this place Chien did a great job on my nails. He suggested I make appt the next time. Today I called to check availability for a fill in and pedicure. I was given a 3:15 appointment. I arrived at 3:15 to find Chien working on someone else's nails. When he finished at 3:27 I was called over. He seemed to be rushing today even knicked my skin with drill. At 3:50 a woman enters the shop and greets Chien apparently his next appt. He tells her to sit in the chair for her pedicure. When I reminded him that my appt was for a fill in and pedicure he told me "don't worry someone else will do your pedicure." I asked him what my appt said he replied a fill in and pedicure. So how do I get bumped for the lady with a 4pm slot? You were late for me but bumped me for someone else with a later appointment. That is not good business Chien. Furthermore before I finished washing my hands you moved my purse to allow someone else to sit at your station. At that point I was done. I obviously was not important today. You can't get new clientele by passing them off on others when they were scheduled with you. Maybe I wasn't chatty enough or maybe I didn't look like everyone else there. I don't know. The experience left a bitter taste. read more
