I had to wait 40 min to get a pedicure. And then had to be somewhere at a certain time so asked them to skip the massage/hot towel. I'm not complaining about that part and did not expect to receive any type of discount bc it was my issue for not having enough time. What I am super pissed about is the fact that they handed me the point of sale machine that had the tip option. I chose 20% which was $12 something (I dont remember the cents amount) because the woman did a decent job. The pedicure was around between 60 & 65 based on the tip amount...they never showed me the total. I just noticed they charged my card $80. Which is around $4-6 more than it should've been. Yes it's my bad for not asking for a receipt and it's not THAT much money but if they are doing this regularly to customers, imagine the profit. I am contesting with my CC company. I wish I would've looked at these reviews before going here. I don't live in Marysville and won't be going back to this place. read more

Made an online booking for Tony. Did not get Tony. The person I did get was in a rush to pick up a child from school. Removed my polish, did the fill, reduced length and shaped in 15 minutes. Sounds good on time but at a price. The drill nicked my skin pretty good a few times and the nail buffing was more of a finger buffing. It was a cold, weird experience. And before doing the polish, he told me to pick out a color, he'd be back. And he left. read more

Was in area so thought I would grab simply polish change. wish I had reviews prior. Very few customers so I should have known to choose another place. The staff spoke to each other the entire time with lots of delays on my service. The area for the staff break area was visible and cooking food was not a pleasant smell. the place needed cleaned I almost fell due to the dust on the floor. Went in for pedicure. Girl could not speak English. She used drill thing to clean cuticle. She nicked me in two places which bleed. Andy said it was polish. Will now I have two places that are abrasions and must heal. Then tried to charge extra because she used file on feet. Basic pedi was not like other places. Color gel did not match chart, now I have orange tint rather than red like chart. Told her she did not understand. After, went to bathroom and saw her washing tools in kitchen sink, not sanitary. I would not advise this place again. $68 with terrible experience. read more

Went in about 3 weeks ago to get my nails refilled with gel. Sophia was the only nail tech there & did a good job! I came in again for the same purpose yesterday and asked how much it would be, since the last time it was $60 (all together with tip I paid $70) and I felt that was a little steep. I was right. I talked to Andy himself and he said that it would be $40 for a gel refill, so I asked him why it was more last time! Sophia happened to be there, and they both fumbled to try to excuse why the price went up $20. "Shape is extra $5! (That's fine but would only bring cost to $45) This foil is extra $3! (Didn't ask for any foil btw, all I wanted was a regular manicure)" They acted extremely confused, but I wasn't. I'm not a fool and I know when I'm being ripped off. I said that I wanted to be refunded the $20 but they weren't having it, so I will be finding a new nail place! Not in the business of arguing over that amount of money & I imagine they will not be in business much longer either. All I ask for is a fair price! In the event you come here, make sure that you ask what the price will be up front and pay then so there are no questions. They do a great job but are dishonest when it comes to making their money, must be hard times. I work hard for my money too & don't take kindly to people who try to drain my wallet when I have always tipped very well & take care of people who take care of me. read more

I do not recommend. i asked for colored ombré acrylic. Andy (the owner) even asked me "natural or color"? i said color ombré. he didn't listen to me at all. he went to get the color i had originally asked for but changed my mind before he even touched my nails and said the ombré acrylic. he said i told him to late which i did not i told him before he even did anything to my nails at all. he then pulled a color that i didn't choose and said it was the same color just different number. it was darker. he tried to lie to me about it a few more times. told him my nails weren't anything that i asked for. he tried to play it off as funny and said he could chrome them. i said no. he pulls the chrome off the shelf and said so you want chrome? i said no again it's not what i want. then as im sitting in the pedicure chair the lady doesn't speak any english. Andy goes to the back door and stands in the door way and spokes. and he's listening to a sports thing on high as you can have a phone. no one wants to smell smoke or listen to god awful screaming while getting a pedicure. do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

I have had a few good experiences here but tonight was not one of them!! I sat waiting for a good 45 minutes just to be rushed through my full set. He literally did my full set in 15 minutes. I'm not pleased with being rushed when getting my nails done. Not to mention hun telling me I couldn't get the shape I wanted. My granddaughter was just in and had her nails done. she literally came home and cried. Andy himself quoted her a price of $105 including the extra cost of gems. she wanted long deep cut french tips with a tapered square shape. this did not include tip. instead she got short stubby duck nails. not what she wanted at all. She is only 15 years old and came in with her older sister. when she went to pay he tried to charge her debit card $153, even though the total on his screen said $112 with tax included. There was no option to tip anything less than $15. Even with a $15 dollar tip it should of only been $127. He took the tip off and only charged her "$105" however $134 was taken out of her account!! I'm Not very pleased with an establishment that would take advantage of a young person, she will not be returning nor would i recommend this place to anyone. Honestly don't know why so many people dog on this place. I go here all the time and have never had an issue. I get that the wait can be long sometimes but what do you expect with only a few workers and 5 people wanting to get acrylics? Yesterday was my first ever time getting acrylics and I'm more than pleased. The quality is fantastic and the girl (Tavy or Taby not sure which) was so sweet and really knew what she was doing. I usually only get pedicures or regular/gel manicures and have always been happy with the results. Also the prices are in line with everywhere else. I went in for a gel manicure Wednesday evening. Waited almost an hour. However the gentleman doing my nails was great. Very polite. Friday night I noticed that the polish on one of my nails had cracked. Sunday morning I came in right when they opened. Waited another 45mins just for Andy to argue with me about fixing the cracked polish. He wanted to just paint over it. I asked him to removed the polish and repaint the entire nail. Waited another 30 mins for the polish to "soak off". Don't waste your time or money here. I should have trusted the reviews I read. read more

Personally I rather enjoy getting my nails done here. I work with horses which means I always have cracked nails. I made the decision to get fake ones put one at another nail place. Within the first 4 days of having them on I tore 3 off. I decided to try Andy's I have only had one nail come of and I have been using Andy for 2 years. The only time any came off was because my nails were 2 weeks over due. If you show him a design he will do anything you want. I will admit sometimes the wait is a little long but definitely worth it. read more

I live in SC, came to visit my granddaughter thats 8, we had a Mimi & Miley day. She has never had a pedi so I took her to get her first one, also got her fingernails and toenails painted with gel polish. I shouldnt of assumed a pedi would be cheaper for a child, I should of asked so part of this is my own fault..LESSON LEARNED!! I watched Andy do her pedi, he did NOT do the same process as the other women were getting AND a childs nails are tiny so not much polish is used vs an adult with long nails or even short. 80.00 was my bill!! Yesterday a friend and I went to get pedicures to celebrate our birthdays. We both enjoyed the pedicures. The issue I had was when I gave the cashier a Visa gift card she added a 20% tip for herself without asking permission. I had planned on tipping in cash, so I also asked for change for a $20 bill. When I shared with the cashier that The total did not reflect the same amount she deducted from the visa gift card, she acted like she didn't understand what I was saying. Since we were celebrating my friend's birthday and we were out during her lunch hour, I didn't want to make a scene over the situation. I find this to be an issue of dishonesty. The owner of this place, whose real given name is certainly not Andy, is such a CROOK! Cannot believe what I have witnessed in this establishment & will NEVER go back. Consistently charges additional fees at check out that were never mentioned ahead of time. He & his staff add on a 20% tip without asking - AND, get this! A Balance is supposed to be $19.... But when my daughter was leaving, Andy added in the 20% tip, a $3 'cutting charge' and a $2 'shaping charge' . My daughter explained she did not ask for a special shape and did not authorize a 20% tip. Andy actually told her that she HAD to pay a tip to cover his taxes. Such a disgusting person. So greedy and taking advantage of a teenaged girl. Bottom line: if you want a half-assed nail tech who swindles you out of your hard earned money, this is the place for you. I'm new to the area so I decided to try out Andy's Nails because they were referred to me. I tell them I want white tips...Andy suggests I try pink n white. I've never heard of it before so I decided to give it a try. Looking back I should've asked how much the pink n white cost beforehand but I definitely didn't expect $60 for a full set!! Nails looked good though. But within a week I had a nail split right in half. Didn't even notice it when it happened. They make the nails so thin that they break very easily. I've been getting acrylic nails for over 15 years and I've never had a nail split in half like that. So 3 weeks later I go back to get another full set but white tips and a pedicure. I pointed out that I wanted the $45 pedi. I wait forever and then Andy tells me to sit in his chair. I told him what I wanted and that I like the tip a little further back on my actual nail so that way I don't have to get my nails done as often plus I just like the look. Well Andy is not happy about where I want my nails placed and pretty much refused to do it. He was extremely rude and was aggressively twisting my fingers. When he's done I go to pay and my bill is $95!! I got a $30 full set of nails and $45 pedi. Where did the extra $20 come from?! I didn't want to cause a scene so I just left. Now looking at past reviews I think he probably added a $20 tip for himself on top of the tip I left him on the card. So my advice is to take your money elsewhere. Don't give this person another dime. But if you decide to go there and you feel your bill is not correct, question them. Make them give you a price for everything beforehand!!!!! read more

I found the staff to be very friendly. I went for a mani-pedi. The prices are more expensive than anywhere else in town so I expected something more than I was used to. I was disappointed. It is the cleanest nail salon in town, but they are a new business and that is to be expected. I have no complaints about my manicure or pedicure except that the service was overpriced for the area. I took my daughter here soon after the grand opening for her first manicure. I had to explain to her that our experience is NOT what you should expect when you get a manicure at all. He literally soaked our hands, filed and buffed our nails, and did a mediocre job of painting them. An older guy did mine and Andy did hers. Andy did a good job of painting hers, but mine got one coat when it clearly needed two (uneven, streaked, etc.). Our cuticles weren't addressed, no hand massage, NOT EVEN ANY LOTION WAS APPLIED TO OUR HANDS. While we were choosing our polish, Andy kept trying to persuade us into getting a gel polish (of course, because of the up-charge) telling us "You don't want that. It only lasts a couple of days." Well then use a better top/basecoat or get the crappy products out of your establishment. Gel is great, but cost was the issue that day. Bottom line, we left with our hands so dry my fingertips were snagging on my clothes, cuticles still looked a mess, and I could've painted my own nails just as well.
