I would strongly caution any woman who is considering consulting with the practicing physician alone. Please bring someone with you as their medical staff will not be with you the entire time. My personal experience with the practicing physician was extremely unpleasant. Erroneous narratives were transcribed in my consultation notes which I found boggling considering that they record everything by audio. Perhaps the physician confused my information with someone else, and that is another red flag for me to not move forward with this clinic. When I inform the scheduling coordinator that I am not comfortable working with their practicing physician, I was informed that unless I complete necessary paperwork--that they did not send me prior to my appointment--they would not release my bloodwork results. I try to log into their website to see what's outstanding, and it appears that my access is no longer available. It is very difficult to contact any staff by telephone as calls will go to voicemails first. The only convenient method was to message via their website, which I now do not have access. I paid my fees in full up front but it appears that I will be barred from my bloodwork results if I do not wish to enter further agreements with this clinic as I do not intend to move forward with their treatments. I wasted an afternoon of time off and a great amount of blood for this visit. The only redeeming quality for this place is that the medical staff onsite was great. I now believe the negative reviews for this clinic and should have heeded the reported red flags.

We had actually seen several fertility specialists during this long journey, and have gone through 3 rounds of IVF (2 mini's and 1 conventional) as well as an IUI. Although they were all unfortunately unsuccessful, we discovered that not all fertility clinics and doctors are created equal. While we found that many doctors take a very traditional, rigid and cookie cutter approach to treatment. Focusing more on luck through repeated attempts, Dr. Aimee was much more focused and tailored in her regiment. We always felt informed during this process, and confident in Dr. Aimee's recommendations. And unlike other clinics, we were always able to get ahold of Dr. Aimee directly. Instead of communicating with a nurse who would then pass the message along to the doctor if they felt it needed escalation. Along these lines, we were always shocked at how quickly we were usually able to get a response from Dr. Aimee. Sometimes even late at night. We often joked that Dr. Aimee probably doesn't sleep. Our only complaints about going with Dr. Aimee revolved around a few issues: 1) The initial application process to get a consultation with Dr. Aimee was lengthy, difficult, and required a lot of chasing from my wife due to poor follow-up and communication from the office. The individual handling review and processing of new patient applications would often go awol for days on end after sending out limited communication. 2) Billing was oftentimes not very clear and created a need for us to meticulously examine our bills line by line to ensure accuracy. 3) Dr. Aimee does not accept any insurance so 100% of the costs will be out of pocket. In addition, her rates are substantially higher than other clinics. Although we were ultimately unsuccessful with IVF, we were eventually blessed with a miracle baby through natural birth. Despite this, we would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Aimee to anyone looking for fertility care.

I never had the NEED that some women have when it comes to being a mom and I didn't want to go through this process if my chances for success aren't likely. I said I would like my doctor to be very up front and tell me if it looks like it will happen or not. Dr Fischer met with us multiple times before hand and was very informative, he gave me options that others didn't but most importantly he listened to my concerns and was honest in his opinions. Although my surgeon was able to get all the cancer out we were still going to proceed with the protocol for cancer patients. Since I was still apprehensive about having kids at all, on the morning I was supposed to start injections I made my final decision to not pursue IVF. The process isn't easy and since I'm still recovering from surgery I didn't see the value in doing this for the potential for 0-1 embryo. It isn't important enough for me to do IVF and try for nothing. If I would end up with 2 or 3 embryos I would have done it but not for less. Again he was very supportive and said if I wanted to try later I can since I won't be doing chemo and in a year my fertility won't drastically change. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this team and if I decided to try I would use them.

This is solely my experience. I am not diminishing any one else's experience. I got pregnant in 2022 with twins and had the babies the same year and before I went to Dr. Altman I was being seen as an OB/GYN from Dr. Lacuna. My experience with lacuna was awful. He did not answer any of my questions and his replies would be "we'll see when we get there." After leaving three appointments rushed and frustrated with no answers from that doctor, I ended up doing research and switched to Dr. Altman. I Didn't know at the time that he was the head of the department, which would explain the great experience. Dr. Altman was a very patient Doctor Who would sit down in front of me and look me in the eye as he listened to my questions and answered as best he could. During appointments he was very thorough and explaining what he was doing, what he was about to do or going to do and making sure that he knew what my plans wanted to be (as far as birth). I did not feel in any way that Dr. Altman had gross misconduct, however, I will say he is very sensitive in that if you're having a hard moment, he will put his hand on your shoulder to comfort you. My husband was in the room with me at most appointments (I think I only went solo once and there was a nurse in the room with me and the doctor) and he never did anything untoward. My husband I thought he was very kind. I can see how if you are not touchy feely, that you would not appreciate the hugs or shoulder pats or even the eye contact but again nothing suspicious (and I am very suspicious of men) I hope those considering Altman do so. My experience was great and I also hope the ladies get the comfort and answers they are looking for. Best.

WTF, she literally told me that she would help until I found a pain specialist. I have been going to a pain doctor for three years. They can see from my records is that I have been on the same dose this whole time. I haven't been fishing for more. All of my UIs have come back clean. Honestly I am a model patient. Then, they never sent the referral to the pain doctor she personally recommended me to!!! Maybe she is OK if you sprain your ankle but if you have serious health issues and chronic pain like me find someone else. She Will trivialize your pain while patronizing you the whole time. Worst doctor I have had to deal with in a long time. Stay away.
