We came to this clinic for a gender selection. Dr. Polansky was very honest and didn't sugarcoat the process. Knowing the uncertainty we still decided to pursue the process. We have an excellent experience with the whole Bay IVF team. We started our journey August last year and we now have two beautiful baby girls from two frozen embryos. It was a long process and an emotional journey, but we are fortunate on our successful outcome. Dr. Polansky is very knowledgeable, professional, and provided excellent care. Thank you Dr. Polansky and to all of the Bay IVF team. David & Rowena G.

Bay IVF- Dr Polanski. The Place to be for treatment! This is a review that is long over due. Our first son is 5 years old and our twins (daughter and son) 3 years. Life has kept us busy and loving it since! We are soo blessed to have 3 wonderful children. We have gone to other IVF clinics and they have rejected us due to language barrier and age. When we arrived to Bay IVF and met with Dr Polanski and his eccentric caring crew. We were sold right there. The ever caring crew (Minerva, Julie, Saffina, Iris and other embryologists) had made us felt so comfortable. We went through the process and we made tremendous outcomes! The clinic is extremely clean and well organized. We highly, highly recommend Bay IVF to anyone who wants to try to have a family of their own. Dr. Polanski, YOU made us a family of 5! Thank you soo much for fulfilling our dreams! Family duties calls!

This is one of two embryos that I received after getting the results that only had a 12% chance of getting pregnant, and now my baby girl is a month old. See you next year to prepare for the final embryo transfer which is currently frozen. Thank you very much.

As we were looking to expand our family, we were heavily researching the option of family balancing as we had a daughter and wanted to add on a son to our unit. Dr. Polansky was very understand clear on what we were looking to accomplish here and set the realistic expectations of the entire process. Intially with the probabilities he presented, we were a bit concerned with the success rate. We started the process in August 2021 which entailed many injections and blood draws over the course of 10 months. It took two cycles to harvest 17 eggs (1 too old, 5 too young) which resulted in 11 embryos with 4 biopsied (3 normal, 1 missing chromosone). Out of the 2 male and 1 female, we elected to have one frozen embryo transferred. The entire sacrifice and commitment made by my wife paid off. By Christmas of 2022 we were blessed to have a successful delivery of a healthy 7.5 lb boy! We had visited other reproductive clinics in the Bay Area and did not receive or even come close to the service we had at Bay IVF. We thank Dr. Polansky and the team at Bay IVF to the professionalism and warm accommodation with this journey.

This place makes dreams come true! The only hope that my husband and I had in having our own biological baby was through IVF. My husband had cancer twice in his twenties and had to bank his sperm. We waited months and months on Kaiser's wait list only to find out that based on the sperm cryopreservation report, we had to do IVF (IUI would not work) and that Kaiser does not perform/cover IVF. I asked the Nurse Practitioner I was working with if she could recommend private clinics for us to check out and Bay IVF was on that list. She mentioned that she personally knew someone who is/was receiving treatment from Bay IVF and really liked it. After going through so many positive Yelp reviews, learning that Bay IVF's pricing is very competitive for the Bay Area and that they are located not too far from where we live (our home is in San Jose), I made the call to get started. We had our initial consultation with Dr. Polansky in November of 2021. Based on an ultrasound/count of my antral follicles (I forget how many was counted), my age (I was 34 at the time, but turned 35 by the time we began treatment) and my AMH (1.73), Dr. Polansky gave us a 36-38% probability of live birth with 2 embryos transferred and 25-27% probability with 1 embryo transferred. In December of 2021, I did my first blood draw and although my results were good enough to start treatment, my results were unexpected and Dr. Polansky recommended repeating the blood draw the following month. To be honest, I started to spiral and worried that I was pre-menopausal and/or had extremely low ovarian reserve, but I kept the faith and just did my best to follow Bay IVF's nutrition/lifestyle recommendations the best I could. In January of 2022, I re-tested and my blood test results were much better (yay!) and we started treatment. I started ovarian stimulation in March of 2022. It's different for every woman, but this point in the treatment was pretty rough for me. I had some severe cramping that affected my sleep and I had to take Tylenol to fall back asleep. At one point, my husband and I were worried I might have a blood clot. However, it was so worth it because we ended up retrieving 7 eggs! 2 of the eggs were not mature/too young but the remaining 5 were fertilized via ICSI. Five days after egg retrieval, we did a fresh embryo transfer. We only had 1 embryo make it to blastocyst on day 5 so just that one embryo was transferred and Doctor Polansky gave us a 28% chance of live birth. We ended up cryopreserving 2 embryos on day 6 and the remaining 2 did not make it. 11 days after transfer, I went in to do the pregnancy test and it was positive, but my HCG was low...45. I went in for the test feeling 95% sure that we were NOT pregnant. I cheated and took at-home pregnancy tests before my test with Bay IVF and I was getting positives, but the positive line was so faint that I thought it was just picking up the medication still in my body. I do not advise doing this, it will drive you crazy! Three days later, I went in for a second pregnancy test and my HCG was 283 (they wanted it to be around 180). A month after our transfer, we went in for our heartbeat ultrasound and we were so nervous, but we got a heartbeat! ...and we got to see our baby for the first time :) It was definitely the highlight of this experience. It's still early in our pregnancy (7 weeks and 2 days), but we are now at the point where we move on to our regular OB-GYN. Special thank you to Dr. Polansky and Safina, the IVF coordinator whom we mostly worked with. You guys are really as good as people say you are on here.

We transported our embryos from another fertility clinic, and the difference was truly night and day. I thought my previous clinic was good until I came to RMA. From the very beginning, the level of care, attention, and organization was on a completely different level. Dr. Kort genuinely cares. He took the time to review my history thoroughly and suggested a couple of key procedures that ultimately made all the difference. He focused on getting my uterus into the best possible shape to receive the embryo, something that gave me confidence I hadn't felt before. Even then, I wasn't sure it would work, but our very first transfer at RMA took. The care team is exceptional. Everything runs smoothly and efficiently, and I never felt like just another patient. Nurse Kylie was absolutely wonderful and always responded to my questions right away, which brought so much reassurance during such an emotional process. I even had the chance to see Dr. Kort for several ultrasounds, and he was incredibly responsive through the Spruce app. He even FaceTimed me personally. I never once felt rushed and always felt heard. When I was feeling anxious about my HCG levels rising, I asked to come in for a third beta test, and they immediately accommodated me. That flexibility and compassion meant more than I can put into words. My appointment wait times were consistently under 10 minutes, which only added to the overall sense of calm and trust. If you are looking for a fertility clinic that truly cares about you and the end result, look no further. This team is invested, thoughtful, and deeply committed to their patients' success. I am forever grateful to RMA Palo Alto and Dr. Kort for helping make our dream come true. They are simply the best.

Since this was fully out-of-pocket, I had to be selective and I'm glad I chose them. I was very pleased with my results. Dr. Kort was my primary doctor and made me feel at ease. He's very knowledgeable and patient. The nurses were also amazing: responsive, kind, and skilled with blood draws and protocol support. During the stimulation cycle, I visited the Palo Alto office frequently, and also saw Dr. Kaser for one of my appts and Dr. Morin, who did the retrieval in SF. All the medical staff were caring and professional. The finance department was the only downside. Communication felt impersonal and transactional but it didn't take away from the overall positive experience.

He asked a lot of very important questions, and delved deep into the thought process. One thing I noted also was that he had actually gone over all my results, reports the day before and was very quick with figuring out the cycle dates I ovulated etc (I dont know how he did that all in his head so quickly! But often when I talked to other fertility doctors, they would fumble and just ask me instead of I knew the cycle date I ovulated, the last day of the cycle etc..) It gave me a lot of confidence that he wasn't missing important information, and I didnt feel worried that I have to be the proactive one here, versus the doctor. He had even read up on notes from my gyn from 6 years ago (my gyn never gave me that confidence) Also, he wasnt rushing to do more procedures on me just for the sake of doing them (which was the feel I got from the more business-like fertility clinics ), and I also didnt have to go through a nurse to get to talk to him directly. He spent a lot of time with me answering all my questions (and I had so many!). I felt very positive after talking to him, and felt that he was actually on my side. I can tell he's a really good person. Very highly recommend him. NS

I felt devastated and overwhelmed. I wasn't emotionally ready for IVF and couldn't stop thinking about the physical and emotional toll it might take on me. Around that time, I found Dr. Yao while searching for fertility support on Yelp. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Dr. Yao took a holistic and deeply personalized approach. She ordered comprehensive lab tests--not just focused on fertility, but on my entire body's well-being. She helped me understand that fertility is not isolated; it's part of a complex, interconnected system. Through her care, I discovered that in addition to POI, I also had insulin resistance and hormonal imbalances. Dr. Yao addressed each of these issues with a customized treatment plan, one step at a time. After every visit, she would give me clear, practical, and actionable steps to improve both my fertility and my overall health. Over the course of six months, we closely monitored my hormones and lab markers while I worked on building a healthier lifestyle. And then--I got pregnant naturally. Throughout my pregnancy, Dr. Yao has continued to support me with regular check-ins, lab monitoring, supplements, and medications as needed. Her advice is always backed by the latest research, and her knowledge is incredibly up-to-date. I've felt confident and reassured every step of the way, knowing I'm receiving the best possible care for my unique situation. In fact, I've felt more energetic and healthier during this pregnancy than I did during my first one. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Yao and credit her for so much of this journey. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for real, root-cause solutions to infertility or any women's health issues--not just band-aid treatments. She is compassionate, insightful, and genuinely invested in your long-term well-being. Thank you, Dr. Yao!

They operate expertly as if they've seen a million patients and yet I still feel that my care was personalized and thorough. Dr. Vaughn took time to answer all my questions during our video consult and I've received excellent customer service from her team even in this remote environment. From the time I found them here on Yelp and booked a consult on their website, they've responded with lightening speed and have always been clear on next steps (there are a ton of steps in egg freezing)! They've also taken frequent measures to check in with me as an added precaution to COVID. Their website is also comprehensive and easy-to-navigate; I'd suggest perusing it and preparing with a list of questions before your video consult. The only room for improvement is around the way they've communicated pricing, mainly the $450 for the initial consult. I took advantage of that awesome free initial consult promotion they had in April 2020, which actually meant that just the video doctor consult was free (the in-person clinic ultrasound was still $225). In addition, another $200 was due for lab preconception blood work, but this is only required if you want to proceed with egg freezing (does not have to be done as part of the initial consult). This $200 is not a part of the main treatment - it's on top of the egg freezing cycle and storage costs outlined on their website. I'd highly recommend going with Spring; what would normally be a scary, confusing, and complicated process is made 1000x easier with the Spring team. I love how they've got 4 locations in the (mainly peninsula and north) Bay Area! The Mountain View office is closed at the moment (due to Shelter-in-Place), so those in the south Bay would have a bit of a drive, but I'd say it's totally worth it.

IVF is a tough process and they make it as easy as possible. As I type this, I'm holding my almost 3 month old baby girl that is the product of our first frozen embryo transfer. We are planning for #2 in maybe a year to 18 months and you better bet we are going back to Spring!
