After years of terrible experiences, I was at the point where I had been procrastinating and fearful of trying to find another doctor. I had been having a variety of health issues, both gynecological and with my kidneys, and I had learned to live with the pain. Dr. Yee showed empathy and concern and provided thorough and thoughtful care -not by just doing the physical examinations and tests, but by taking the time to really talk to me about my health history and what I had been experiencing. She provided a plan and followed up consistently. She referred me when I needed surgery, and helped me when no one, not even a specialist could complete a biopsy. And she listened when I said that I experienced pain the last time and the other doctor dismissed me and said I didn't need pain relief for a procedure because it would be painless, quick and easy. Dr. Yee assured me she could provide some additional measures to numb me and make me as comfortable as possible. I could have cried - to have a doctor who listens and cares this much about their patients is a rare find. Dr. Yee's care resulted in my eventual diagnosis of several issues I was unaware of and needed surgery for. I am now 4 months post op and I just know when I return to Dr. Yee for my future care she will be just as attentive and focused on my experience as she was the last time.
