When I called to clarify why your office could not see her, I was told that her medical history was "too complex." However, when I asked for clarification on what specifically was too complex, the representative was unable to provide any details. Instead of offering a professional and courteous response, she abruptly hung up on me, which I find completely unacceptable. As a healthcare provider, your office should prioritize clear communication and professionalism, especially when dealing with patients and their families who are simply trying to understand their options for care. If your office truly cannot accommodate her due to medical concerns, I would expect a proper explanation and guidance on how to proceed, rather than being dismissed so rudely. I would appreciate a follow-up regarding this matter and an explanation of why she was denied care. I have been going to Dr. Deitz for the past 3 years after ISmile literally ruined my smile. He put the crowns on my implants, changing my life. This past week I got a raging infection from a broken tooth. He was out of the office when I called for an emergency appt. The staff were super friendly (Victoria) who tried to get me to a covering dentist. I chose to wait for him. They got me in as soon as possible the very day he was back in the office. Always professional, always honest $ friendly. And one of the few docs that gives me a hug after my visit. Once a doc does life changing work for you, they become like a friend. read more

I said can't I fax it to you or email it or obtain it from my dentist? He said if you don't have it in 5 minutes on my desk you will have to reschedule. I wish I could give this place NO STARS. DO NOT RECOMMEND. This is the worst dentist I have EVER dealt with. From our first meeting he was rude & he alone thought his racist comments were funny. He made promises of showing me what my teeth would look like once procedure was done (lie). But I was in pain & they were the cheapest I could find. I was lied to & told that his facility did oral surgery (another lie), he ordered his assistant to hold me down in my chair against my will & prevented from leaving per his order, it was a pure nightmare that I'm still being traumatized by. It's been 3 months. They refuse to refund my insurance & credit card for work not performed at the session (I was outta there) that they are fraudulently trying to fight to keep my money. Dr ditez You r rude. Likely u don't want my business but I signed up for your discount program with two cleanings a year. As soon as that is up I'm finished with you. You were not at my last cleaning in December so I could hove u look at the denture fit. Today I came up from barnegat nj 100 miles round trip. Spent my entire day waiting got a call to come in and then sat for 25 min to be seen. My denture is still loose, high on right side and pinches the roof of my mouth on the left. I am unable to eat with them in my mouth I don't know what your problem is with me, I hope that's not your normal patient behavior. I guess I'm going to have to live w the denture until I can get another dentist. If I'm due another cleaning please refund. On further thinking I want the money I paid for the dentures resurfacing. The worst dentist I have ever used because he is not accountable, his work does not endure, does not correct his own errors, refuses to prioritize work to be done, provided an erroneous treatment plan and is only hospitable when he can benefit from insurance. Dr Dietz may be competent by skill but not recommended because of profound ethical concerns. My last encounter was a traumatic experience and I have developed a significant fear of dentists. I was a longtime patient with insurance and did not question his work until I found he was different with uninsured patients. I have excellent credit and pay my bills- that was not a problem. I went there after my insurance ended because I trusted Dr Dietz. I also care for an adult with a disability who was also a patient; I believed the practice would be sensitive to my concerns. Instead , I think his behavior borders on discriminatory . My trust in him was definitely misplaced. The office manager had me set up a credit plan based in a handwritten treatment plan that he quickly changed AFTER the credit was approved. I would NOT have used the sum right away but Dr Dietz deposited it before all work was done- legal but unethical? I later learned he had to finish the work in 30 days - this explained the rushed attitude and failure to prioritise . I would not have continued with his practice had I known be would also not prioritise work to be sensitive to patient budgets. He had me replace a crown with one that has not hold up. Less than two weeks later he wanted to switch a filling in the handwritten treatment plan to a crown. This would have changed the treatment plan to increase it by over by 50 %. I complained and his office sent me a formal printed treatment plan I had not never seen and been given when I agreed to a credit plan. Deceptive practices are unacceptable! I still have the handwritten treatment plan on which I based my trusting decision. Dr Dietz also refused to correct his earlier work on a crown that HE ordered in the wrong color without insurance because too much time had elapsed between my complaint and when his hygienist (who I never saw again there) confirmed the mistake. He had refused to acknowledge it. During my last visit, Dr Dietz was hurting me while drilling and would not stop. He also insisted on replacing a older crown that gave me no trouble with work that has not held up, as noted above. Very uncaring, terrible chairside manner unless he is "upgrading" work. In last visit, he talked to an associate during whole procedure - I was NOT a discount patient. I regret recommending him to people from whom he profited substantially because there must be competent dentists who treat everyone well and with courtesy, and are sensitive to changing personal circumstances. Paying on time should be sufficient, but Dr Dietz only showed care when my insurance hid his errors and the excessive dental treatments from which he profited. I am hoping to find an alternative dentist but have been too afraid. I recommend not using this dentist. Never. Dr Dietz may not have the correct address on YELP - please be careful. read more

Do NOT go to this office if you are looking for caring, and empathetic professionals. Dr. Dietz gives novacaine like a punch to the jaw, and if he makes a mistake - like, putting a crown over a cracked tooth, and then the tooth gets massively infected, well, you are on your own. All of a sudden you are not their responsibility. The worst experience I have had with any type of doctor. He didn't listen to what I asked for, he didn't actually examine me at all. I went in to 1) have my teeth cleaned 2) look at putting an implant in where I had some teeth removed 3) replacing some old veneers. He immediately told me I needed invisalign, uhm nope. He then proceeded to discuss my marital status and tell me I still had hope of not being single forever, HUH? WTH? Who asked you? It was sooo bizarre. I had my teeth cleaned, then went to another dentist and paid for yet another teeth cleaning because it had been done so poorly. Do not see this man, he is not interesting in dentistry. Just canceled an appointment scheduled for next week because the office posted a photo of their office holiday party on their office Facebook page. 14 people practically sitting on top of each other and not one mask in sight. With no disclaimer identifying the photo as pre-COVID, I canceled the appointment. I'm not confident I would've been told the truth had I asked when the photo was taken.
