I have PPO coverage and didn't know what that meant. Nothing further was explained. I picked this dentist out of the list from my insurance plan. I went for my cleaning and x-rays which was a very positive experience. I had a great cleaning and I discussed getting a few cavities filled. Upon checking out, the woman at the front desk said I owed a $95 copayment. My insurance coverage says I owe $0 for cleanings and x-rays which I told her. She said but we are a premium dentist. I replied, if when making the appointment it was explained that "premium" means I would have out of pocket expense for things that were to be zero cost to me that I would have never chose this dentist. There were plenty other dentist to chose from. Today I talked to Dr. Savon about how it was not communicated to me upon making the initial appointment but he still wanted the full $95 payment and hung up on me. It was very upsetting and saddens me that I was treated without any regard to try to make an exception due to a front desk error. They have refused to release my x-rays to another office as well. I later found out this happen to someone else I know with a total different insurance carrier. This person had to pay a much larger out of pocket upon checking out. Be careful when using this dentist if you are shopping for a new one!

I saw her in July and plan to see her again when I come in November. The new office is absolutely beautiful. This is a full-service Dentistry office. Dr Battula can do almost anything. And if it's not her specialty she will make sure she refers you to the best! Everything is top notch from the hygienist to the assistants, front desk, and billing. There is rarely a long wait, and if there is any anticipation of a wait time, the staff is honest and offers you an opportunity to grab a cup of coffee or shop the nearby stores in this cute area of town. So I go to my appointment and they make some adjustments and because my gums are already sore it's hard to tell if it made a big difference. I leave and reach out to them early Friday afternoon and hear nothing back from them until Monday stating they can't get me in Friday while again I'm in pain and can't eat because of it. I go in Friday and once again the dental assistant want to make more adjustments and mind you I've never once seen the actual dentist even though I have been experiencing significant issues with the dentures for two weeks already so I told them I want to see the actual dentist this time and finally got to see her. She made some adjustments and I was able to get a good amount of relief but after eating over the weekend I was still experiencing a little pain and discomfort and at this point I'm done. I'd rather find another dentist that I can get to do the adjustments on my dentures. Besides all of that the assistant cut a good portion of my denture that the dentist said can't be built back up which takes away from the suction and will allow small pieces of food to get in between the denture and my gums. I can honestly say that my after is worse than my before because I was experiencing no issues before coming here.

She told me my balance for today, I handed her my Visa card she processes it then proceeds to tell me I have a balance from a previous visit. I told her I was going back and forth with my insurance and I would send a payment, she told me that hasn't nothing to do with them and that's between me and the insurance all while she still has my Visa card in her hand. She then proceeds to tell me they like to keep a card on file and asked if I would be Ok making a copy of it and I clearly told her no give me my card back. She goes to hand it to me then pulls it back and stands up to go and speak to the manager with my card in her hand. When she finally brings my card back I told her that was very inappropriate and don't try to hold my card hostage and she just threw her hand up and walked away.

The staff were super friendly (Victoria) who tried to get me to a covering dentist. I chose to wait for him. They got me in as soon as possible the very day he was back in the office. Always professional, always honest $ friendly. And one of the few docs that gives me a hug after my visit. Once a doc does life changing work for you, they become like a friend.
