He prepares you for what to expect at each procedure and even lets you watch if you so desire. Nothing was painful. The worst part was administration of lidocaine and a few injections for removal of spider veins...but thatlasteonly a few seconds. He constantly asks how you are doing. Sue, the office administrator, is so friendly and welcoming. I am so glad a friend recommended him. If you are tired of doctors with big offices where you feel like just another patient, this is the place for you. You will feel like a member of a family.

The procedure and follow up visits were quick and easy. I had veins on both legs closed and not even 6 months later they look and feel great! In addition to flagging those patients who are dementia patients in the system - so that instructions and appts are addressed with the caregiver. Finally I told my cardiologist's office about this and asked them to call Coastal Surgeons consider my status as "urgent." My cardiologist staff person called me back right away because the staff at Coastal Surgeons told her that they do not perform the procedure I needed (an "MRA" because one of my carotid is 80% blocked). I want to have more treatment options than being encouraged by Dr. Andrew Deemer to have surgery . That's my last resort. I believe surgery is okay when it's the last choice for a patient to get done. I know I will have a much better outcome with a doctor who knows my medical history. Even though , I am no longer a patient with this facility. I wanted to say that Veronica's personality has really stood out with me. Veronica was very understanding about my explanation in me finding more better treatment options for my health care. Veronica is a good listener and she doesn't interrupt me when I am talking to her.
