It's too bad this is the closest dry cleaner to my house. I've been twice and both times, my two shirts were not done when they said they would be. I was sure they'd be done because they had them for 7 days! They asked me to come back on day 8 and my shirts still weren't done. They weren't even in the building for me to take and go to another cleaner. They asked me to come back on day 9. I asked for a discount and was told no. I didn't even get an apology. read more

Do not take your clothes to this dry cleaner unless you hate yourself and your clothes. Generally when I take my clothes to a dry cleaner the idea is they would be returned, clean. Not at Andre's. I've gone multiple times so it was not a one time experience. How they remain in business is perplexing. read more

I recently took a jacket in there to be fixed just a zipper put on and the lady as I started talking continuously said no I kept asking her if she could help me and that I have already had this done previously from them and her response was no!! As i said i have used this cleaners in the past for the exact same job to put a zipperon and they did it no problem but for some reason she was unwilling to help me. read more

How a company deals with a customer when things go wrong is everything -- especially in a business that handles delicate clothing on behalf of their customers. And this is where Andre's failed spectacularly. Last month, we dropped off a collection of post-Spring Cleaning items for dry cleaning -- some jackets, some slacks, a couple sweaters, and some delicate tops that my wife loved. We brought them home and when we went to take them out of their packaging, we noticed that one of my wife's favorite lace tops was **completely** ruined, and two of my cashmere sweaters had holes in them -- which were not there when we dropped off the clothing. So we went in and provided the items for the person behind the counter, who was severely disinterested in doing anything about it. First, he tried to hint that there was "no way" that their machines could have caused the damage to the sweaters, then he wanted to "keep them" so that he could show someone what happened. I permitted him to take photos, informed him of the rough value, and he said someone would get back to us. Nothing was ever done, no further contact was made from them, and here we sit with about $200 worth of damaged or useless clothing and nothing to do about it. read more

Worst customer service experience ever. Came to pick up a jacket that needed it thicker change and dry clean I didn't have my receipt and I told the lady that it was almost 4 months that he was an old order but because of Covid I was not able to get back it up. She couldn't find it and she say it's not here and can't find, is not here go home. At first I really couldn't understand what she was saying and she was starting to raise her voice to me and I said can you please split speak slower because I can't understand you and then she'll yelled at me "go home" Because I told her that I was not moving without my jacket and I tried to explain to her again that it was a fixed not only dry clean at the end she found a jacket and they never worked on it. I should have read Yelp reviews before I took my clothes to this place. The crazy thing is I kept going back for almost a year thinking it would get better, because they are conveniently located close to home. Bad idea. They do an okay job cleaning (some of the ironing is questionnable). The worst thing about my almost-one-year experience as a customer at Andre's is my dry cleaning was late all the time. Took a single shirt in, needed by Friday so we asked if it could be ready Thursday (just in case). Was told that was no problem. Went in Thursday and was told it wasn't ready and to come back Friday morning. Went back Friday morning and it wasn't ready and was told to come back in an hour. We'll see if that's true. I've given Andre's a few shots now, and as much as I would love to give a local cleaner my weekly business, will be looking elsewhere. It is a 50-50 chance to have your items ready in time, and turnarounds are a minimum of five days. I took our laundry to the Snoqualmie Andre's dry cleaners for their $2/pound wash and fold service. Absolutely horrible. My sheets were folded as I might expect my child to do and wrinkled like they had been left in a dryer for 2 days. My towels? Crusty and wrinkled in that 'line-dried' way. My husband's clothes? Folded with a folding board? No sir. Kind of haphazardly sandwiched in a messy pile and stacked at random. My child's hat? Shoved in the side of one of the bags in a crumpled ball. How I got it? The manager pulled my bags OUT OF THE BACK OF HIS CAR. Just an awful waste of time and money. I feel like I should have just sucked it up and done it myself. Did I pick it up early or late? I hadn't realized a favorite dress had a stain until a week before a vacation. I dropped it off and asked for them to rush it. When I showed up on the appointed time it wasn't ready and was at a different location, but I came to realize it's because they'd tried 3 times to get the stain out and were going to try for a 4th. They offered for me to come back early the next morning before they opened (and before my flight) to get it. I went from being somewhat irked that it wasn't ready on time to impressed that that was because they had tried hard to fully clean it. When I picked it up (early the next morning) they tried to not charge me since it was late. And the dress looks fantastic- the stain is unnoticeable without a magnifying glass! This place is great. Very accommodating and friendly. They try to always accommodate your schedule and always deliver.

It's either this or Snoqualmie cleaners. Though there is no major difference in the quality of the dry cleaning, but andre's has always accommodated my "rush" orders, like 24 hours or less cleaning or alterations. Snoqualmie cleaners always asks for at least 3-4 days... And it's always hard to communicate with the attendant there if you need anything in particular. read more

We've lived on the Ridge for 10+ years and have been using Andre's Snoqualmie location on and off for all those years. In general we've thought the service was average and the price was above average. We lived in the Seattle area before moving to Snoqualmie. Dry cleaners were less expensive in Seattle. Over the past year the service has been terrible. Clothes aren't clean, shirts have wrinkles, etc. A few times we questioned if the clothes had really been cleaned. They had stains, etc. Note Andre's is a franchise and there are many locations in the Seattle / Bellevue area. We recently started taking our clothes to Snoqualmie Cleaners which is next to Star Bucks and/or IGA grocery store. We are much more happy with their service. read more

Sold/Donated my Item without attempting to contact me first. I had been using this dry cleaner for six years when I dropped off a very expensive King-size quilt and forgot about it for a few months. I did leave my item there too long, but would expect a decent place to have a service level in which they first attempt to call a patron to ask them to pick up their item/remind them it is there before they sell or donate it. When I returned to pick it up, with my ticket in-hand that I had found in my car, the man behind the counter (whom I believe is an owner or partner) didn't even ask to look at my ticket, his tone and his expression made me think he knew what item I was referring to and I had the distinct impression that he was faking looking for it. He told me that that have several stores and maybe it was moved to storage in another store, and that he would let me know. He tried to wait on the next person but I asked, doesn't he need my phone number, my name to contact me. Oh, he said, maybe I should come in in a few days. I went in three more times until he finally told me that they don't have it, that they must have gotten rid of it because it had been so long. I asked him to look in his computer and verify that he has all my correct contact info, including a phone number, and he did. I was polite, but upset, telling him that I didn't receive any phone call asking me to come pick it up or reminding me that it was there. He made little attempt to apologize or explain anything, perhaps there was a language barrier. But just said, when it is there too long they get rid of it. I am certain, based solely on my impressions of his body language and tone of voice, that he was familiar with my item, knew from the moment I asked for it that it was gone, and strung me along. Why, I don't know. Perhaps he had given it to someone and thought he could get it back, perhaps he wanted to discuss it with a partner before decided what to tell me. But needless to say, I won't be going back, which is a shame, because they are so convenient. More about this location is that they do ironing on-site, but the cleaning is done elsewhere. Parking is on the street in front or in a private lot in the back. They allow you to enter from the back entrance if you park behind the store, but you have to wind your way to the front through their work area of steaming ironing tables and storage shelves. Their prices are higher because they have no competition in the area. There is another dry cleaning location across the street in another shopping strip, but its just an extension of this store. They offer next-day service when you need it for no extra charge, but they prefer to take three days. read more

I brought in 14 shirts on a Friday. I counted them before I left home and the lady counted them out in front of me. She then gave me a receipt for 14 shirts. I asked to pick them up on Tuesday and medium starch. I showed up about 5:30 on Tuesday to pick up my shirts. she had to look all over for them. Then she brought my shirts up and said 13 shirts. I said, no, I brought in 14. She said NO! I show you. She showed me her ticket and you could see where she crossed out 14 and made it 13. I said no, we counted them out. She said it was wrong. and started ringing me up. I walked out to my car and got my copy and showed it to her. She took it and then crossed out the 14 and changed it to 13. I said HEY! Then she crumpled up my receipt and threw it in the trash. I said there is a shirt missing. My dark purple shirt isn't here. She said come back tomorrow and walked away. I came back the following day and there it was. She grabbed my shirt, didn't say anything other than $1.80. I said, so there were 14 shirts! She just stood there looking at me. No apology for me to come back a second time or anything. I said, my shirts don't feel like they have medium starch. She told me that medium shirts are too stiff, so they did light. WTH? It isn't her choice as to the amount of starch I want. I will never go back there again! read more
