This place is great. Food is good Price is on point. Open later than most places in Langley. Pizza is good just needs more sauce. My fav is the bbq chicken. Chicken parmesan here is awesome. I will be signing up for Yelp just to post this review. The service from Andreas has seriously declined in the past years. I ordered meals for three people today and not only did they arrive luke warm and cold but one of the dishes was missing. When I called in to report the missing item (A lasagna dish) and the fact that the food was almost cold the person on the other end did not seem to care. She said that she would rush out the missing Lasagna but that there was nothing she could do about the temperature of the food. I am sorry but I don't find this to be acceptable and I requested for them to come and pick up their food and provide me with a refund. She said she would be happy to do this without any discussion. My family and I had frequented Andreas in the past, and were quite happy with it. However, my husband and I have noticed over the course of the past five years or so that both quality AND service have been steadily going downhill. Most frequently the concern lies with wait time for pickup, but the most recent involves extremely disappointing food AND horrible wait time. We keep going back due to the history and hopes that "things will be different next time" but it's come to the point where we will be washing our hands of this place. I will relay the last two incidents in recent memory. Note, our poor experiences aren't limited to these two examples. February of 2017, a Tuesday night. Ordered just a small pizza. Was quoted "25 minutes". Ordered at 830 pm, decided to give them a few extra minutes due to slightly extended wait times in the past. Dining area doesn't appear to be busy but the waiting area is packed with people waiting for pickup orders. Bad sign. When a hostess (who apparently took a break from openly arguing with a colleague by the bar/till area) finally comes to the counter, she advised that my order "wasn't quite ready yet" and would be done in a few minutes. A few minutes turned into nearly 45. At about 940, order comes out, not even an apology or an explanation. Pizza was decent though, so we brushed it off as an isolated incident. Wasn't enough to completely write them off. Second incident was tonight (a Monday). Placed order at 730 pm for a baked ravioli. Husband didn't feel like having anything from there and opted to order from Kosta's around the corner on Fraser Hwy (this is somewhat relevant). Quoted 30 minutes for pickup from Andreas, 20 minutes from Kosta's. Husband waited til 8 to order his meal from Kosta's before leaving to pick up my meal from Andrea's, thinking the orders would be ready relatively close together. He texted me from Andreas at 810, saying there's a wait. Of course there was. It's pretty bad when one purposely gives EXTRA time to pick up an order due to historically longer-than-usual wait times and still ends up waiting an unreasonable amount of time additional. An extra 5 or even 10 minutes, fine. But not this. They couldn't give an approximation, which clearly wouldn't bode well for the kalamari he had ordered from Kosta's. Finally, the ravioli was ready by 845 -- a full 45 minutes *after* the scheduled pickup time. Again, no apology, no explanation. It doesn't stop there. Brought both meals home, and the pasta was so overcooked it was mushy, with the majority of the ravioli pockets empty due to the filling falling out during the most likely overly long cooking process. We suspect that the pasta was forgotten about and cooked for twice as long as it should have been. I basically got soggy, empty ravioli pillows that could have been dubbed a carpenter's dream, they were so flat. Garlic toast resembled a huge garlic briquette that came from the ninth plane of hell. Do they not use a salamander? Or did they somehow shove it through twice? Do they not stop to think that it's possible that a customer may not want to receive a piece of toast that more accurately resembles a charred log? Kosta's kalamari ruined (ever try cold, soggy, rubbery kalamari? Not pleasant), ravioli and toast a practically inedible pile of mush with a burnt carbon-based accompanyment, and a very poor Yelp review as a result. I'd go back to get a replacement of an actual edible meal, but I am in no mood to wait for another hour and a half. Doubt if they read these reviews or even care, really, but it doesn't matter to us since it's highly unlikely we will return. Hope others will consider the other reviews in here before ordering from here again. And in the SLIM possibility that Andreas' owner reads this, you may want to consider putting in a time system on your receipts. Like when someone places an order, the time the order was placed is written on the receipt. Gives you a better idea of how poor (or how good) your service is and allows opportunity to fix the problem if those wait times increase. And that system seems to work fine for many of your competitors, including the pizza/pasta place my husband worked at so many years ago in college, and the place where I used to wait tables. Both places are still thriving. Gives a more accurate timeline for your kitchen staff to prioritize when the kitchen gets slammed. Ordered Tortellini Alfredo for delivery and am extremely disappointed. I'm new to the Langley area, so I am still figuring out what restaurants are good and which ones aren't, this one included (at least with the food I received). Firstly, the menu does not specify what the tortellini is stuffed with, so I assumed it was cheese, as most restaurants provide this. However, quarter way through my pasta when I split a tortellini in half, I soon realized it was something other than cheese and contacted the restaurant who informed me it is beef, well I am a vegetarian. Aside from the vegetarian part, I immediately threw away the garlic bread, it was rock hard and its taste wasn't worth keeping. Secondly, the "Alfredo sauce" tasted more of garlic than anything or some other herb that did not taste like the usual Alfredo I go to at other restaurants. Seriously, Boston Pizza's Alfredo pasta is way better than the one I tasted tonight. The one good thing maybe was the baked cheese, but how do you screw up baked cheese? Had to wait 10 minutes to even be acknowledged at the door for a seat. We ordered pizza and the spanakopita plate. The spanakopita itself was good - as good as the frozen ones you can buy at the grocery store. The salad was great actually, but the rice was bland and the tzatziki sauce was absolutely disgusting. I would give 0 star rating if I could. Ordered about 5 days ago. Ordered lasagna with meatballs and a side salad. Chicken cordon blue with rice. They messed up my order. Didn't get a side salad, they charged me for a combo salad which was the MOST disgusting thing I have ever been served. And it cost $10 they put on my bill!!! The meatballs had no flavour and were a mushy texture. The chicken cordon blue was ok, but they forgot the rice to go with it. This would be fine if a manager had called me back. I have lived in Langley and its surrounding areas since 1988. I have eaten at Andreas and ordered from them quite often. After years of giving them second chances, I gave up on them for 2 years back in 2010. Recently I returned, and I am sad to say that their service is still crap. I have had delivered to me the same order every time and every time they forget something from my order. Last time they forgot half of my meal and made me wait over an hour for the other half. I only live 15 minutes away?????? They did not offer me a free anything or discounted my meal. I am tired of giving them a "second" chance. After eating there since 1988 by myself or with my family and friends we have all chosen to no longer order or eat at Andreas. First time holding our Annual Black Belt Day banquet here. Like my previous visits, food was very good, fresh, portions generous. Food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and servers did a very good job. My 45 guests (little kids to the elderly) cleaned their plates. Overwhelming group feedback was also very good. We were in an 80's time warp tonight. This place reminded me of a legion, truck stop, and small town diner all rolled into one. I'm still a little speechless about this place, and can't put my finger on exactly why it is so busy. I assume it is because it has been in Langley City forever, and people just don't like change. Or that the prices probably haven't changed much over the last 20 yrs either. We went for the pizza because that seemed to be the most talked about in the reviews. For a supposedly greek restaurant, I have never had before today a Greek salad with ranch dressing. ..Really. I don't think it is too much to ask to Google the Greek salad dressing and make it. And the feta wasn't real as it was shredded and not crumbled as authentic feta would be. The food and service is great. The building, decor and furnishings are out of the 80's and have never been updated or remodelled so you feel kind of dirty when looking at the carpets, sills and plastic plants. If you can't handle that don't go; it's what it is. The lamb kleftico is melt in your mouth delicious and the Greek salad is great, calamari is cooked well and tender and the kids meals are very good and offer drink and dessert. The steak is basic but really tasty (I order cooked medium) and I enjoy the sampling of onion rings, mushrooms the baked potato with all the trimmings (butter, sour cream, bacon bits & green onions). The garlic bread is dripping in butter but is baked in house and I can't not eat it fresh bread(would prefer much less butter though!). Pizza looks tasty but have never had it personally. We go for the food and are never disappointed; don't have any more expectations of this location so we're always satisfied. Lots of parking in the old part of downtown Langley. read more

The food was great, the service was terrible. When we walked in there were three tables with people. Our server had one other table in our section and they left shortly after we arrived. The server took our order (or so we thought) and it got to the table quick. Appies were hot, tasted amazing... Dinner wasn't even what we ordered. After trying to wave her down we got another server's attention and she got our server to come to our table. We had ordered a Baked Chicken Hawaiian with Baked Spaghetti and a Chicken Cordon Bleu with Baked Tortellini. We got a baked spaghetti and baked tortellini with chunks of chicken on it. NOT what we ordered. After laughing it off she said she didn't even hear us order the chicken portions of our meal, it didn't even register with her. Then she laughed some more. She asked if we would like what we ordered and we both said yes. So at this point we're really hungry and had the prospect of cold garlic bread with our meals in front of us... 15-20 minutes later we had the meals we ordered, not even fresh garlic bread. Finally. The food tasted amazing, exactly what we needed. When we were done we waited over 20 minutes to get the server's attention, we didn't see her once during this time, she was in the kitchen. Again, after getting another server's attention she asked if we needed our server, I said yes... The server came out 5 min later. We asked for our leftovers to be packed up and our bills. She disappeared for another 5 minutes or so and then handed us each a bag with our food in it before disappearing again. We waited another 5 min sitting at the table before getting up and going to the till where we stood for another 5 or so minutes waiting for our bills. FINALLY, we got to pay for our meals. We took our to-go bags and left. For the first time in the more than 20 years, we didn't leave a tip. Who would after receiving this service? Today when my sister went to eat her leftovers she discovered the server had given her mine and I had been given hers. For real? I can honestly say that even though the food is some of the best in town the service was so bad we could be finding somewhere else to go for our pasta fixes. I was in here the other night and ordered a Greek Salad. I could not eat it. The vegetable were soft and kind of slimy. The fetta cheese was definitely not soft and creamy and they served Italian dressing with it. I have never had Italian Dressing served with a greek salad. I mean how long does it take to make an oil, vinegar and oregano dressing for the basic greek dressing. I have had some of their other food and it was not too bad but will not go back. They did take the price of the salad off the bill but it kind of ruined my appetite for food read more

Have long heard of this well kept secret in Langley. Now a resident of Langley I have a new found love and appreciation of the staff of this restaurant. The dedication & love is in every meal you eat. I personally am a fan favorite of their Ceasar Salad ( ) Humos is to die for and of course their super decadent portions of Bbq or dry Greek rack of ribs!! .... AND they serve with a hot lemon finger bowl!! Patty is the best !!! Frequent customers at least twice a month ... and ALWAYS leave room for dessert! !! Chocolate Mousse is as light as a cloud and savory to the tongue ...especially when shared with your special man/lady and served with an amazing special coffee "Monte Cristo " ... it's the cherry on top!!! To start with their menu is all WRONG cause they have not updated their prices probably in years (says something about the commitment of these people). The Calamari and Kleftico (called Roast Lamb at other places) I ordered was soggy and completely flavorless might as well have been chewing on a piece of cardboard. The salad had something resembling a RAT's TAIL (I showed it to 4 other people in the house and no one could come up with a better answer)! Don't normally write reviews but me and my wife were not happy with the house lasagna we ordered today. 90% of the time its good but when the garlic bread is dry as if it was 3 days old and lasagna had 90% noodles and no sauce ( cheese was ok) and the greek salad did not seem great my wife said then I need to express my dissatisfaction. My husband and I went there for late lunch yesterday afternoon. It was not busy so we didn't wait too late to have our orders served. Everything went well til I went to pay for the lunch. The waitress didn't even show me the bill. She just gave me a total amount to pay for. I saw her keep checking previous bills and had a small whiteout on the counter. I wondered if she tried to reduce the amount of the bill to increase her own tip amount. After I paid, I started calculating how much we supposed to pay for our lunch. Believe or not, she charged us six or seven dollars more. I even tipped her on top of the amount that she charged to us. Ok the food is not too bad. I didn't tell people not to go dine out there, but always ask for the bill and calculate the amount before paying. I found the old waitress is not honest. read more

Andreas' food is a bit old fashioned, the servers still call you 'hun or sweetie and the food is not 5 star. But really, that's also why you go there - it's comfort food done reasonably well with gigantic portions. The only thing I would suggest that they do is add some spice to their sauces and garlic bread- specifically garlic. I would love more garlic, oregano, and maybe some other spices to round it out. So - it's your typical pasta place with good service and good food with huge portions for an exceptionally reasonable price. Can't complain about that. read more
