My appointment felt rushed, and I am mildly concerned my prescription isn't going to work for me. Now, this is something that will need to be addressed when I order new glasses. I am disappointed that when giving me a prescription, they did not give me a PD measurement. They knew I was looking to purchase new glasses, and if their selection wasn't so limited - it would've been through them. The person I worked with to look for glasses was patient with me as I was looking for something a bit out of the box when it came to frames, but again - knowing my intention of getting glasses - they should've provided a PD. Period. I will not be returning, but for a routine eye exam I guess this was an OKAY experience. Not what I'm used to, as I do expect a degree of thoroughness when it comes to eye exams and my vision needs. Note: When reaching out to the office for my PD measurement, assuming it was simply missed on my prescription they stated they do not give that measurement unless the patient is purchasing glasses. This is not standard practice, based on my experience. I've been wearing glasses for quite some time, and typically prescriptions come with a PD. Granted, I did move here from Alaska - so perhaps in Minnesota the "eye care practices" differ.

My daughter and I came in for our appointment and from start to end it could of not felt so racist and filled with microaggressions, the tech was some blonde who was nothing but cold and and short with my daughter. The tech talked to my daughter in such a tone it felt so uneasy which come to find out my gut feeling was right! Reason being is when we got to looking at glasses the manager John could of not been so cold and rude! He said under his breath that my daughter and I were "being too picky" and that he "cant do this because he is getting annoyed" after hearing that I decided to pay extra close attention to him and the level of microaggressions the manger displaced to my daughter and I was just plane disgusting! I have been coming to Kennedy Vision for over 20 years -since they were up in Elk River off School Street. This past summer I came in for my annual checkup, purchased a couple pair of glasses, and ran into a few issues. This was the very first time I questioned the service I received in 20+ years. I listed out my issues in an email and requested the email be forwarded to Dr. Rossow as I was hoping to bring awareness of the concerns from a long-time customer. Here's my interpretation of the email I got back from the "Director of Operations" when I questioned the confusing invoice, the quality of service I received from the office staff, their BOHO program and being charged double what was reasonable for what I purchased. "I'm not going to pass your concerns on to your Dr. Rossow because we don't want him to know we don't care if you're unhappy / dissatisfied and if you go somewhere else..." "Eye insurance is very confusing....and even though we have 100% control over making your bill / invoice less confusing, we're not going to do it" "Your just one person and we don't care if we loose one good customer - our business model allows for disgruntled customers because we overcharge so much" There's a lot more that I could say, but I will just wrap this up by saying they've lost my business...and my wife's business....and my three daughter's business....so I hope that extra $200 you got from me was worth it... * I am sure someone from Kennedy Vision will respond to this review and express their sincere apologies for my experience and state their commitment to customer service...but remember, that's only when I am posting a review for others to see.
