We were in town for an event and were hungry later in the evening and we found Andomiro on Yelp so we gave it a shot. I am so sorry but I was so hungry I forgot to take photos of the food. The service and restaurant were great, plenty of booths on one aside and a counter area for walk-ins. I will say, that this was some super legit food, it's a Jamaican and Asian fashion restaurant ( Jamasian) and wow the dishes were beyond good. What a fantastic dining experience! The ownership is incredibly friendly, accommodating and lovely. The food, drinks and service were all fab! These days dining out is often such a drag, it's expensive, staff is miserable and food quality is often poor. Thankfully, none of this is the case at Andomiro, we live over 1.5hrs away and will certainly be back! We loved the ramen and the opportunity to customize the proteins and spice levels. Party Time with full flavor, amazingly friendly service and fantastic food!!! Andomiro came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. Easy to get to and with plenty of free parking.... we arrived to sounds of Jamaica playing softly in the background as we were greeted with a friendly smile. We were immediately seated in a very comfy booth. They are glad to walk you thru the unique menu or feel free to dive on in to some really good eating. We started with the Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) wings that included the Korean Spicy Glaze - it was simply amazing! You can even opt to get them with the sweeter Soy Glaze instead. Once we saw the Jerk Chicken Spring Rolls come out, we had to try that crispy delicious goodness and it was fantastic! We ordered the Shrimp Bowl and it included tender shrimp, mushrooms, spinach, onions, bean sprouts egg, rice and their special spicy GCJ sauce. It arrived with cruncy watermelon radish - YUMMY! We also loved the Yakitori Dinner that includes 4 skewers (1 ribeye) with their spin on a veggie stir fry and some out of this world pickled something with jalapeño! Boom!!! They have so many delicious fresh juices to choose from... I loved the fresh Hearty Beats Beet juice... but if you are really craving an adult beverage... you gotta ask about their current 'secret menu' itmes. To be honest I was suspect right away because on the menu they put some "Korean" that looks like someone just slapped the left half of a Korean keyboard. But okay you like consonants, that's cool. I don't know if we ordered the wrong things or what, but this place was bad. Got the chicken wings (soy) and bulgogi dumplings and decided to get the check after appetizers. The staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere is most inviting. Being our first visit they spent a lot of time giving us a wealth of information about the menu which has a very unique Jamaican/Asian fusion. We got the chicken fried dumplings for a starter, they were delicate and delicious! But back on the 3rd page of the menu was a Jamaican Jerk Chicken Dinner that caught my eye (have longed for it since living in Miami). It was AMAZING and it made my whole weekend! How did anyone give it 4+ stars. It's was bad. Over cooked and nothing Asian inspired bites about it. You've been warned.

We popped in on a whim, and we were far from disappointed. This is a mixed Asian place. (Also, Jamaican, but that is a story! ). My friend, that I went with, and I love to try new things, so we had the skewers for two. We tried all of the different flavors they had. Even the unconventional ones. As we ate, we were making involuntarily yummy noises they were so good. We also had the appetizer toast. (I think it was called Bim Bap Toast?) It was also highly enjoyable. The menu is quite diverse, catering to the conventional to the culinary adventurous. Meat and bread type? Got you covered, get beef on a stick! Crave tastes from afar? Try the rice cakes! (No, they are not that puffy stuff at the grocery store.) Or the KFC, not TM. (Korean Fried Chicken! ) We won't even get into all of their sauces. Some of them will set you on FIRE! And those are just out on the table. They also have a plethora of drinks from bubble tea, fresh lemonade, mixed drinks, soju, and Jamaican Beers! Of course, they have the conventional stuff, a.k.a. sweet tea and other such drinks. The decor is what I'd call classic modern with a mix of granite, steel, red, and black. It is a lovely older building refurbished with a sleek new inside. Make sure to grab a selfie with their selfie stand at the door. The filters are quite fun! The staff is very polite and competent, and the owner was a total trip. Be sure to ask him how an Asian place started carrying authentic Jamaican food! Wow! What a great experience at Andomiro! We were greeted warmly by Shemoi, owner, concierge and server in their newly opened diner style establishment. He explained every dish on the menu to us quickly but thoroughly. We chose ramen dishes, served to perfection, with selected spiceness and proteins added. The other owner checked in with us as did the chef. My only regret is that we live about 2 hours away and won't be able to be regulars! I made it thru 2 bites and then alllllllllllll the salt that was in the dish was so overpowering, it literally tasted as though someone dumped a ton of salt in the food. I really wished it had of been a better experience and food. I'm likely not going to order from there again. Once I'm done with a place/restaurant (and we are talking about food), I'm just done. We were the only diners there on a Wednesday evening. The waitress was very new and, while trying her best, gave us answers such as "I think" or "I am not sure". No bartender but she would try her best to make a drink. Not familiar at all with the drinks. The owner eventually stopped by and gave a thorough review of the menu. We were 2 couples ordering an appetizer and a main each. The jerk spring rolls were very good. Everything else--bulgogi toast, chicken bowls, oxtail meal and yakitori all left something to be desired. The price is extremely high for what we ordered. Well obviously you can see that this is a 5-star review, but that alone doesn't do this establishment justice.. Follow along for just a moment because i'm going to give you five reasons why, one for each star. The food: Seriously... a restaurant needs to have good food in order for it to get a good rating, and this place slaps! The emphasis on Korean cuisine with an added touch of the owners' (Jamaican) culture gives a diverse spread of great options that DELIVER warm-and-fuzzy emotions. The Hospitality: I don't know why anyone on earth would choose a neon lit, dismal bar to drown away their sorrows, when they could get all the therapy one needs at this place. I didn't expect coming in here that I would talk about life, dreams, family, etc. with the owners, but I left a happier man. We shared books that inspired us, stories of home, and a love for the American Dream which is alive and well in this power couple. The Service: If their goal was to distract me with great conversation long enough for the food to arrive, consider it to be mission-possible. It felt as though only a few minutes had passed after ordering, when my delicious Bulgogi Toast came out. Not minutes after eating my toast, they used some time-traveling technology to deliver the Jerk Chicken Wings. Both were insane dishes that I would go back for again and again. The Authenticity: In today's day & age of superfluous influencers and the lens of social media, it's a rare to meet people who are so truly excited serve, feed, and make you feel important when in their care. Make no mistake, if I had chosen to sit in the corner booth and ignore the invitations of these great people, I might not have experienced the joy of getting to know them. Instead, I sat at the bar and made great conversation with some awesome people who were absolutely brimming with energy. The Dream: If these two entrepreneurs could make it so far in this great nation, with their 7 children and big dreams, then surely any of us can achieve whatever we set our hearts on. I walked into this place to eat a meal, but I left wanting to reach higher and go farther in life. We came to Andomiro twice while we were staying in Pawleys Island. We stopped by the first time because we saw they offered vegan options, and we came again because it was so good. Over the two times we came, we got the shrimp rice bowl, tofu rice bowl, sweet potato waffle fries, veggie dumplings, vegan kimbap, the tofu/veggie SSAM wraps, strawberry lemonade, and the Guinness/rum cheesecake. My partner is vegan, but I'm not. Everything was amazing! Sweet potato waffle fries with hot honey sauce: fresh off the fryer, delicious, don't skip the sauce Veggie dumplings: hot and crispy with a really tender veggie filling, comes with a great spicy soy sauce Vegan kimbap: good for sharing as a starter or having as a main. If you get it for your main dish, maybe get another roll with it--comes with 6 pieces. Seaweed wrap, rice, carrot, spinach, mushrooms, onions, furikake. Shrimp bowl: soooooo good. I added on the soy glaze sauce with the gochujang (GCJ) sauce that comes with and loved it. Got it twice! Tofu bowl: same as above. Delicious. Tofu is marinated. Can ask for no egg. Tofu wraps: same as above. Light, refreshing, good for lunch. Strawberry lemonade: soooo good, pretty sweet, comes in a cute cup with an umbrella. Cheesecake: don't skip! The inside of the restaurant is clean and bright. We actually came back in part because it's nice and cool in there (if you're trying to escape the heat!) with very chill vibes and good music. Lastly, the wait staff is so kind and helpful. They understand the menu is large and can be a little intimidating, and so they will carefully explain every section as soon as you start looking it over. They answered all of our questions, and they were very knowledgeable about vegan restrictions and knew which menu items had egg, meat, fish, etc. They seem very willing to accommodate dietary restrictions if you just ask. The front seating is by the window and across from where they are cooking, very open and that made it even more fun. I have to admit i was trying to catch a glimpse of everyone else's food. Stopped by on a trip to Myrtle Beach. Instantly greeted with great service and outreach about menu items. I ordered the tuna roll to start, along with the spicy ramen as a main entree. We loved the service from one of the owners as she was very active with us and communicative about the certain aspects of each dish. Regardless of our food/restaurant conversations we had a great casual conversation with her and she treated us as if we were friends/family. My personal experience getting to know her and the origins of her business was awesome and I've never had such a genuine interaction with a server. I thoroughly enjoyed my two selections on the menu and would totally return once I get back to the area! Great people, great in-store environment & great food! Finally got to try this new restaurant and it did not disappoint. Had the marinated steak SSM wrap and chicken dumplings, great flavor, so yummy. My husband opted for the Jamaican jerk chicken wings and finished them off before I got to try them and enthusiastically told me how delicious they were and how tender the chicken was. My daughter had the veggie ramen and was very satisfied but was even more excited about the boba Thai tea. She's very picky about her boba tea and was elated with their authentic Thai tea recipe.
