    Salad with Caesar dressing

We ate here before seeing a show at the showplace. My husband was really looking forward to the table side carbonara but they were only doing a limited menu that night, so that was a bit of a bummer. We had a great server, was great on checking on things for us. All the food was great, I really loved the 5 pepper chicken such a great use of peperoncini, kept the dish light. My angel hair did seem a bit all tangled into a clump so it made it a touch hard to eat. The menu is great with so many great options, definitely elevated classics.

Food and service was spectacular. We have visited several Andiamo and I strongly believe this is the best beach out of all. Since the menu and dishes are identical so what makes the difference is service. Moreover, correctly preparation in the kitchen based on customers needs and presentation of the dishes make a difference here. In general, we love Andiamo due to wide range of choices, various items, their flexibility to chain the the dish. Andiamo also super good at allergy restrictions and other request such as non alcoholic cocktails and others. We have tried their appetizer, soup, salad and Salmon. Everyone was great especially the driver was kind and made us feel comfortable.

Rib Eye with mushroom ragu, sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts

I'm not understanding the numerous negative reviews for this place. It's not my favorite restaurant by any means but if you're gonna review a spot, trying to be somewhat objective should be the bare minimum requirement. My wife and I got married here almost seven years ago and people loved the food we had. A wise man once told me that no one will care about a single decoration, centerpiece or flowers at your wedding. They will however comment on the food and the cake, so you better get that right. We got it right! Or I should say, Andiamo got it right. But this review isn't about our wedding. That was an unnecessary piece of information I just wanted to share. We had dinner here on 5/21 for my wife's birthday. We were not disappointed. We had a group of eleven people. Our waitress was fantastic and the entire wait staff was attentive. The service is phenomenal here. Everyone's app and meal came out in a timely manner and we didn't feel rushed at all. We also didn't feel like an inconvenience when we kept asking for zip sauce or other things on the side. They were more than happy to help us. And we were never low on our beverages. They were promptly filled without us feeling intruded. My wife got the salmon which was served with some veggies and risotto. It was delicious. The salmon cooked perfectly and the risotto was really good. There was a "maple-chili agro-dolce" that was the perfect compliment to the food. My wife didnt enjoy it so I got it all to myself. I ordered the char grilled rib eye, medium rare. I told them I would rather it be closer to rare than to medium and it was cooked perfectly. Mine arrived with a mushroom ragu that was so good. The sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts were amazing as I dipped them in that maple chili. I think everyone got zip sauce on the side because let's face it, every food is elevated with zip sauce immediately. All in all, amazing food, even better service. As I said, it's not my favorite place but I think it's still an awesome spot for dinner.

This little place that has less than a handful of tables, because its carry out business was super busy while our hour plus there, was fantastic. Our meal started with warm, wrapped in foil rolls that were scrumptious. The cream of broccoli soup was delicious. It was blended with carrots (and probably other veggies) and a lot of broccoli. The portion of Eggplant Parmesan served on top of spaghetti that I ordered was huge. Prices were so reasonable, especially for the large servings. Atmosphere was friendly and we spoke to a couple sitting at another table who were also there for the first time, also came in based on the reviews they read, and really liked their food. The employee behind the counter who took our order, brought us the rolls and dishes, was super nice and very appreciative of our tip. We are definitely going back!

To broaden our experience, my friend and I split everything we ordered. Dinner was AMAZING....5/5 APPETIZER: "Burrata Camponata" A mound of this heavenly Eggplant Relish, severalthick slices of fresh Burrata oozing cheese, and a big mound of imported, freshly shaved Prosciutto off of the special shaver that sits in the dining room for the dishes that require this beautifully seasoned ham. Absolutely delicious appetizer! The basket of fresh Italian bread and olive oil for dipping was put to use with our glasses of Chianti and then enjoyed very soon as an olive oil topped bread base for our well-placed trio of this gorgeous appetizer. Next, for the salad, we chose to split the "Charred (on a hot coal grill !) Romaine on the grill Caesar Salad" with an anchovie garnish The perfectly seasoned croutons were made in-house, and so was their most divine (BEST I've ever had) Caesar dressing! We split 2 Entrees: Pasta Carbonara created in the imported, authentic, giant Parmesan wheel table-side Espresso-encrusted Prime cut sirloin steak Med Rare with roasted redskins and fresh, petite green beans. It was the most tender cut of beef with huge flavor, made even more so from the grill. It was perfection, simple fare, highest quality of ingredients, all prepared and presented beautifully. The staff were always attentive, though not smothering, and genuinely friendly with a ready smile. DESSERT: We split "heaven-in-your-mouth" x2 : a piece of Dubai Chocolate cheesecake and a serving of the Tiramisu. "Ecstasy," is all we could say as the perfect wrap-up to this gourmet trip to Italy Mangiabevi, you haunt me daily until I return.

Both times, I ordered a small four-square pizza with pepperoni and black olives, and Loui's absolutely knocked it out of the park. Don't let the word "small" fool you either -- this is a seriously filling pizza. Even a hungry customer is likely to leave full, satisfied, and already thinking about the next visit. What really stood out to me was the generous amount of cheese, the substantial weight of the pizza, and that perfectly crisp crust. It's rich, hearty, and exactly the kind of pizza you hope for when you're craving something substantial. The service was fantastic on both visits as well. My servers were friendly and attentive, and I also really enjoyed the old-school interior. It has that wonderfully dated, nostalgic feel that immediately brought me back to the good old days of going out to restaurants around Detroit as a kid. To me, that atmosphere is part of the charm. If you haven't tried Loui's Pizza yet, trust me -- you're missing out. After hearing about it for years, I can definitely see why it has such a loyal following, and I'll absolutely be back.

You can tell they have been here for years but nothing is drab or old feeling. The bread and butter they serve before your meal was delicious. I could have eating two baskets. We immediately noticed the extreme simplification of the menu; Firenze's four-page menu, containing all of the beloved Italian dishes has been reduced to a one-page, bare-bones offering... with every item changed to a la carte. It's easy to figure out what happened; the owners of Firenze brought Gordon Ramsey in thinking he would magically transform their restaurant into a new, trendy, high-end destination with a menu that would appeal to the new, trendy, Tic-Tok generation. Unfortunately, the demographic in South-Warren isn't going to bite. What made Firenze so popular in the area was its old-fashioned charm, and all-inclusive meals at a reasonable price-point. Firenze's nostalgic appeal and affordability has been obliterated for a slick, glossy concept created by a multi-millionaire who is completely unfamiliar with this Southeast Michigan neighborhood and the sensibilities of those who live in it. Bottom line; the food was good, not great, and definitely not worth the total. Two of us ordered a pasta dish, and a chopped salad. Our bill with tip came to $75.00. Firenze missed the mark, and completely forgot their longtime patrons who loved their restaurant as it was. I wish you success, but we won't be back.
