I called to get a carry out order. I'm in the parking lot and they are definitely open. The phone number on Google and as well on Yelp states that the phone number that I have reached is not in service. Doesn't make any sense at all. I was a tad annoyed that I couldn't order the food ahead. It took a bit for anybody to come to the front desk and ask what I needed. I just wanted to carry out order. Woman at the front counter told me that I carry out order would take at least 25 minutes. She informed me that she has tables that she hasn't even waited on yet but I've been waiting. First time coming we were leaving Meijers and saw that they were banging on a Saturday at 5, so we decided to stop in and try them since we never have been. The place is just like most family diner styles, the strand was friendly and place was clean the owner even came up to us to make sure everything was good. The saganaki was perfect, it was in a deep bowl so you got more than most other places would give you. The house salad with dressing was divine. I had the almond chicken and it was good as well wish it was a little more crunch and my boyfriend got the steak quesadilla which was amazing. Will be back. read more

Went here tonight for dinner, nothing we had was good! The soup was cold and tasted burnt, I had the hot turkey sandwich the mash potatoes tasted old, green beans were cold..husband had the Mac n cheese, which he said wasn't good at all...don't think we will be coming back...waste of our money read more

Went here 3 times during the week. Once in a while food fresh most of the time they offer old leftovers. Such as today the chicken stirfry old tough chicken with leftover vegetables, pepper steak is so old though stinky had to let them know. Will probably going there less. read more

Great breakfast spot! We found this on a whim due to having to turn around for 12 miles construction. We weren't mad at all after the inviting staff was friendly and the food was mouth watering. For the price and quality of this spot - it's worth it to come back here over and over. One of those joints where the staff knows the regulars by name and their food was out before they sat down!!! read more

I think this place really depends on what you order. We were looking for somewhere to take my 90 year old grandmother and this place was open on Sundays. My husband had the fish and chips. He said they were good. My grandmother had the patty melt and said it was "alright". I thought she would appreciate the option to have dessert but she decided to skip it. I had the Greek salad. It was a very large portion as a side and I was excited for pink Greek dressing. Something was off. It was alright. I also had a grilled chicken wrap that was so salty I couldn't eat it. It was almost bizarre. I pulled it apart and tried dunking the chicken in ranch but the ranch tasted off. I think this is the sorta place that is best for breakfast. The portions are large and the folks that had the meat platter stuff seemed happy. read more

Been a fan of Sero's restaurants for nearly 50 years. Favorite of mine for breakfast. The depth of the menu is unmatched. I NEVER had a meal that was disappointing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Mostly booths, but quite roomy. Great place for families and friends but great place to go if you're alone but hungry for a very good meal! read more

I was hesitant to try this place after trying the seros in Chesterfield (1 star review), but everything Chesterfield does wrong, this seros does right. It's always a joy to eat at this location! This place is a great family restaurant. The restaurant seems mostly like a diner but the food is always so yummy! Wonderful place to go for breakfast, their Greek options are also delicious. The wait staff is very kind and attentive. My go to meal here is a the gyro omelette or just a regular gyro! Gyro is my favorite and this place sure does have some good gyro! The homemade taziki sauce is to die for highly recommend. The only reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the chefs are a little loud and unprofessional in the back. We've ate here many times before and normally enjoyed our meal. However, the last time we were there the meal was totally terrible. The soup was cold, the bread was stale, the fish and chips were soggy and disgusting and the veal my wife got was so burnt even the pile of gravy they put on it to hide the burnt taste just didn't cut it. We paid over $35 for the meal including tip and ate virtually nothing that was served. We told Frank about how disappointed we were with the meal expecting to be treated like the long standing customers we are. Instead, he said "Oh well, that's to bad and we'll try better next time". Didn't offer to re-cook our meals or give us a break on the cost. Well it's safe to say we've ate our last meal at Seros. If this is how he treats a long time customer I can only imagine how he treats other customers. Do yourself a favor and DON'T EAT AT SEROS !!!!! This is our family go to place. Good food, plenty of it, at a good price. The menu has many different choices. Italian, Greek, American, Mexican and Chinese. If you're looking for good value family dining, then this is the best you will find in the area. You won't leave hungry or broke. Their dinners include Soup, Salad, AND desert. Their breakfast special incudes sausage, bacon AND ham. So you won't have to feel like you have to choose one or the other, or are being nickled and dimed like all the other restaurants. If you like restaurants similar to Ram's Horn but at a more affordable price then you'll love this place. The staff is friendly and provide great service. Jennifer is the best but they're all great. I came in for a weekday breakfast while my car was being serviced. Typical Metro Detroit Greek/Diner. Lots of breakfast food for a reasonable price, fairly tasty typical diner breakfast foods, nothing fancy or arty, just large portions of traditional food. Lots of the customers seems to be long term, the waitresses look to be very long term employees. The wait staff is friendly and good at their jobs. The insides are very well worn, some vinyl in the booths is repaired with duct tape, the plastic on some of tables has the wood pattern worn out. A good example of this type of Detroit institution. This is a cute and traditional themed restaurant. They had older styled booths, abd it felt a but homely. We waited quite a bit at the front, as there was no one at cashier or waitresses around. Finally, one came around the corner and apologized for the wait. We were seated and she asked for our drink orders. She was super sweet and told us to take our time. My friend ordered the saganaki, and it was delicious. They even lit it on fire, which I have heard some restaurants will not do anymore. I ordered chilli cheese fries and a hot dog. I was worried when they stated it was melted string cheese, as I have not liked it much in the past. I was completely wrong. The chilli cheese fries were a massive serving, considering the super cheap price. They were absolutely delicious. I devoured them quickly. My friends seemed to enjoy their meals as well. I was quite surprised with quality and quantity of the meals for the low low price! My meal was almost $5 after tax... 5 DOLLARS!!! This is so insane to me because I am not used to eating such a great full portion for a little under $5. I will definetely come back in the future to try other items on the menu. read more

This is one of our favorite "go-to" places to eat! The place is family owned. Albert runs a great front of the house, the staff is friendly and service is quick (shout out to Leyla, Jen and Beth)! Frank and Martin do a swell job in the kitchen and we've never had a bad meal of all the different ones we've tried. So, unfortunately this is going to be harsh. I actually tried them one last time and have to take another star away. I figured maybe since it's a GREEK restaurant, then the Greek food would be their saving grace. I ordered the Pasticcio, which the girl who answered the phone had no idea what that even was. She informed me it comes with rice. Thought that was kinda weird since it's a noodle dish but maybe they love their starch, IDK. I get back and open it and all I smell is celery and tomato. It's all smooshed together and covered with tons of tomato sauce with green peppers, celery and carrots. Not traditional at all. OK, I don't have to eat the rice and all the sauce, let's dig in to the pasticcio itself. Not good. Meat tasted old, the béchamel was HARD, like a crust that went hard all the way through and the meat tastes like cafeteria meat, not fresh ground beef. Not a hint of seasoning in the meat that I could taste and I did try to get a bite without all the tomato/pepper/celery sauce on it. I'm pretty pissed. I paid $10 and got lemon goop(soup) with way over cooked rice and raw flour in it, a tiny salad, and that monstrosity. So, in essence, I paid $10 for a tiny salad. Fuck that. I work hard and that's a big waste of money. Say what you will, I just threw their menu in the garbage. They won't ever get my money again. read more

I happened to be in town and I did not have any idea what to eat. I was with my parents and we were all very indecisive. As we were driving around, our intention was to go to a Greek restaurant. I pulled out my yelp app on my phone and actually found this place. From the outside, does not look great but just wait to you eat the food. We were greeted as we came in by smiles and a very generous lady. She sat us down in a nice, comfortable booth. The place did not have the best designs but that is okay, I am here to eat. Their menu was actually really big, which I was surprised. I ordered just a simple Greek salad and I have to say I was completely impressed. It was so big I could barely even finish it. The dressing is their own secret recipe, which is out of this world. My mom ordered a traditional Greek dish and I am forgetting what my dad ordered but they both said the meals were great. Our waitress was even nice enough to give us extra salad and extra dressing to take home. Overall, the service was excellent, the food was out of this world for a Greek Coney island, and I will definitely return. Thank you so so much! read more

Greek salad-soup for $6.95 great deal a couple of choices for soup I had the chicken pot pie soup it was tasty. The dressing was dynamite! My experience was a 2 b/c the Chicken was really rubbery not sure of the quality of the meat they use. The cleanliness of the restaurant is also in need of serious attention grossed me out,the condiment bottles need to be replaced. Table was sticky and made me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Typical greek fair, coneys, and a large breakfast menu were our choices. We opted for breakfast. (even though it was 9pm) I ordered a gyro omelet and added feta. (no problem) The omelet was big but it was more like a scrambled egg with meat and cheese. Although it was tasty, it wasn't what I expected nor was it anything special.
