I went inside and met this older gentleman (who seemed like he liked to drink a lot of alcohol for some reason) and he showed me around in the back. He said that the owner was not there very often, because he was always in different shows. When he is not there, the house was kept closed. The furniture and other items were quite dirty and dusty, but there were so many beautiful old things to see. Really old furniture with wonderful carvings and details, old wrought iron garden items, old paintings, etc. etc. I really liked going around the back yard and spent quite a bit of time there. I ended up choosing a gorgeous antique print in an equally beautiful antique carved frame. Every item shown in the photos was gone. After doing some digging, it appears they had already held an auction and were selling only the leftover items today. They seem to have intentionally chosen photos that would draw people in without stating that there had been a prior auction or that the pictured items would not be available. It felt deceptive and was frustrating after driving an hour. I would stay far away.

Apparently this store that I won't be buying a Snoopy at. Ugh. There's so much random stuff in this store that I don't understand it at all. Unpolished silver, used vintage silk tops with armpit stains, hats, art to decorate your oldest living relative's house...and a Fender Knock off guitar in the window selling for $450, but worth less than $60.
