I called their office and was told by the staff member that she would call the owner to see why he's running late. She called back in a few minutes and stated that there was some form of emergency he had to attend to. Really? No one bothered to inform us, not even a courtesy call prior to our scheduled appointment. We live in the Phoenix valley over 1.25 hrs away. If communication is this poor with this outfit I want nothing to do with them when trying to build a home...

We needed to replace our old patio cover and make a few upgrades -- remove a pole, add recessed…read morelights, and go different design. We got several quotes, but Hektor immediately stood out. From the first meeting, he was on time, focused, and genuinely cared about finding the best solution for us. What really impressed us was that he never acted like a salesperson -- no pressure, no upselling, just honest advice and real expertise. Another thing that stood out is that Hektor was hands-on throughout the entire project. He did the work himself with the help of his team, but he was clearly the one leading and making sure every detail was done right. He even came back to go over details in person and worked with us so we could pay for materials with our credit card, which made things so much easier to manage. Even when Phoenix had an unusual week of rain, he stayed in touch to make sure our materials were safe. Once the weather cleared, he showed up right on time, suggested raising the patio height (which turned out to be the best decision ever), and coordinated the stucco work so everything looked seamless. The patio turned out beautiful, and he followed up afterward to make sure we were completely happy. If every contractor worked like Hektor -- professional, reliable, hands-on, and truly caring -- home projects would be stress-free. We couldn't recommend him more!

Contatced Sigi with SGC in regards to remodeling our front and back porches at our house in Pine,…read moreAZ. Sigi was quick to respond and followed up with an in person visit within a day or so. We discussed some ideas about my front and back porch and I liked his recommendations. I decided to go with SGC and began in February. SGC had to completely demo both porches and start all over with new footers for both. I went with Trex Decking as well for the proches. Demo was completed the first week in February and his crew began working. Mother nature slowed it down a little bit with some snow and rain here and there and waiting on the Gila county inspector added a few days along the way. The porches were completed in March. I also had SGC tear down and build a new privacy metal fence on a portion of my property. The metal matched the color scheme of my house really well. I really appreciated Sigi's communication along the way. I love the craftsmanship of the porches too. The flooring has a really nice picture framing finish for the flooring and trex decking was used on the railings as well.. I went with cable wires for the railings too and it gives the porches a real nice open look. I would highly recommend SGC for your project in the Gila County area!
