    Breakfast burrito

I was able to pop in to Anchor and Bloom cafe during a quick trip to Seattle for a 49ers and Seahawks game. I ordered their breakfast burrito and medium size cappuccino and was so happy because it was the perfect way to start a day of football. The service was excellent as the female who took my order was most helpful ! I would be delighted to visit this cafe again in the future and recommend that others pay them a visit.

Thanks for letting me bring Tina!

Great customer service, friendly owner, excellent coffee and dog friendly. Owner brought my dog a pup cup. Very happy with this coffee shop and enjoyed visiting with regulars and other patrons! 5 stars!

it was actually a good mocha and cinnamon roll. The service was super fun too. The seating and vibes inside was super good!

Dog friendly cafe with yummy bagels in the heart of downtown. The staff were super friendly and gave us pup cups and freeze dried chicken. For dog owners, the coffee shop is literally next door to mud bay which makes it a perfect route. The bagels were pretty good, i would say they are a little bit pricy for what it is but i guess the location ticks it off. For drinks, they use vita for coffee beans which is always on spot, i got a chai latte and it was way too sweet i needed to ask for more milk. The staff was again super accommodating and helped me unsweeten the drink. The ambiance is unique, feels bit rustic with the wooden furnitures and dark floral wallpapers, perfect for people watching with its expansive windows.

Anchor & Bloom is such a cute coffee shop in Belltown! I absolutely love all of the decor, especially the adorable floral wallpaper. I ordered a Fiona latte with oat milk (named after the owner's French bulldog--so cute!) and it was delicious. They serve Caffe Vita coffee and locally made pastries. This is a cute and cozy coffee shop that's great for getting some work done or stopping by before or after Pike Place. Highly recommend!

Anchor & Bloom gives me cozy pioneer square vibes but in Belltown. The cafe is pet friendly, it's also next to Mud bay. Actually stopped by there after coffee for our fur baby. I ordered the Rose Cardamom Latte, it was very tasty. Strong few sips at first, gotta let the drink sit for a little, but I loved it! It's the best rose cardamom latte I've had. They serve caffe vita, you can't go wrong with caffe vita. Very friendly service. Good music and great seating options. The chairs are cool, clever space saver move.

The coffee cake was quite good, as was the rose and cardamom latte. This spot does appear dog friendly and newer to the area. They have cool little window seats with seat pillows and both indoor and outdoor seating, but it's smaller so spots are limited. The baristas were very helpful and friendly. They can't take applepay or phone-based wallet payments right now (or perhaps ever?) so make sure to bring your physical card or cash along.

Anchor and Bloom is a charming shop that was just renovated and it's absolutely stunning. Lots of seating, open space, and the floral wallpaper gives it lots of personality. They use Caffe Vita beans and sell some retail for an average of $19 for 12oz which is fair pricing for a classic Seattle roaster. I ordered The Fiona which is a rose cardamom latte named after the owners dog, and a jalapeño bagel sandwich with egg, bacon and cheese and both were tasty. The service was spectacular, and I loved relaxing in the space. Can't wait to come back!!

The bakery and sales area take uo the entire ground floor of an unassuming house in a residential neighborhood. Clean, light and airy atmosphere with plenty of room to work. The metal shelves were superbly organized and packed full of bagels. Easy to get to by bus from downtown. Charming and cheerful staff. I went on a Saturday morning around 1030 and there was only a small line, which moved very quickly. This is not a cafe - you are here to buy bagels and the fixings. Okay, they also sell coffee and tea, muffins, and a yummy chocolate chip cookie. (Had to try one if I'm coming all the way from downtown!) Bagels were baked perfectly. Each one looks as if it was made individually- the level of detail of the flavors, rhe color, the texture. Nice chewy crust with a light interior. They toast up beautifully (at home - no slicing or roasting at the bakery). This is a bagel that says "hey, have another one" rather than the kind which lay in your stomach. I didn't try the spreads, but have absolute confidence that they would be marvelous. Worth every second of the 30-minute bus ride. Heck. Go out of your way to come here!

We tried the pizza bagel and the everything bagel with chive schmear. The flavors were spot on; the everything bagel had a great seasoning ratio, and the chive schmear was fresh and creamy. My particular bagel was a little on the drier side, but even then, it is still a very strong contender for Seattle standards. If you are looking for a high-quality bagel and don't mind a little line, this place is definitely a must-visit. I'll be back to try a few more of their schmear flavors soon!

Then you chose to increase prices and decrease the quantity, which didn't make sense. Less for more? What a waste of a great idea - greed is why your business model didn't work. Your business was so hot when it opened and it actually went downhill about 6 years ago and I am not sad to see you go. Josh - to respond to your comment. My note should have inspired some reflection with the business model but it didn't. Your level of greed was insane and that is not forgiven here. You started hot and decided to squeeze more than your share from this business and this is what happens. You messed around and found out. It's sad because I actually supported the business when it opened but quickly had to end my dealings due to the high level of greed. You did this to your own business by wanting more, more and more, so please don't play the victim here. I'm sorry that you're saddened by this but what you did to the community is far worse than what I said. Actually ripping people off with your product is not having humanity. I'm not the inhumane one here and let's get that straight. I didn't rip people off - you did! You got what you deserved and that's that. You likely have time to turn things around but I doubt you can reduce your greed in time. If you do, I'll gladly come back and support yall. Again - food was great and greed was not.

The bagel itself was smaller than a typical bagel and had some capers and a small amount of cooked (not smoked) mashed up salmon in the center school lunch cafeteria style. The bagel was chewy but lacked any crispiness on the outside. Basic, not generous, amount of cream cheese. The salmon had barely detectable flavor if any, while most of the flavor came from the capers. Overall, I felt a bit like I had been scammed. The chocolate chip cookie was actually pretty good. Not great, but good enough. Note about the service: I walked up to the counter to order and asked if they would bring it out--the person i ordered from said yes--so I tipped accordingly. I took a seat in the main seating area on the patio and poured myself a glass of water from the self service station. After around 20 minutes of waiting and looking inside to see if anyone was coming out i walked in and asked one of the people preparing bagels if someone was going to bring my order out. He looked confused, pointing to a row of bags on the counter, one of which was my order. Now, I tip generously for service, but more often than not i don't tip when I order and pick up my own food at a counter. Again, I felt a bit scammed. There are much better bagel options in Seattle, and certainly ones that don't ask $16 for such an unremarkable one that I had.

A few things to consider: I've never had a bagel on its own here, only a bagel sandwich. So I don't feel as though I can give an expert opinion on the bagels. However, they do work very well for the sandwiches. The everything bagel is absolutely loaded with seasoning, and has an incredible saltiness (I'm a salty man, so this is a good thing). I feel as though this elevates the eggs to a new level. I was immediately drawn to a pastrami breakfast sandwich, because it's a top tier meat. This will feel more like you're eating thin roast beef because of the color, but it's still pretty good. I do think that this sandwich needs some acidity to balance out all of the fat, so grab some hot sauce at the counter. Overall this was a great sandwich, and I would get it again. That being said, I feel like the bagels are lacking due to a fault in a core ingredient. They all come with potatoes, and I think that they're either boiled or not quite roasted enough. Having to deal with undercooked potatoes dispersed throughout a mondo burrito is a battle that I'm unwilling to wage - but people seem to love 'em. The other ingredients and overall flavor is nice, though. Rachel's is a fun place with good coffee, too. And they let me bring my dog in which is dope.
