Also affordable, a similar stylist wanted to charge me almost double! She explained the process and how she would blend in the choppy pieces in my hair. I let her know that I not only received a reminder notice but a confirmation email on my end. She made it seem as if I "misunderstood". She proceeded to tell me how boosky was only a secondary site for her business and mainly used her booking site. But there was nothing in her bio with any excess information. She never apologized for the inconvenience nor even attempted to reschedule me. One service could have led to a regular client for several other services. Be consistent…read more My first time there, she sent a message saying she had hair in several different colors in stock so all I had to do was show up. When I arrived, she had only 2 colors in stock and it wasn't even enough of one color for a full head. I had to use 2 colors. 1 (most of the packs) and 1B (only one) and my hair is actually sandy brown. The least you could do is have 1B (most commonly used) fully stocked. Don't advertise having hair in stock and not have it. When I addressed my concern, she said her text said if I had a specific color I wanted, I was to inquire and let her know. If I wasn't happy, I could just leave. Strike 1. She was still finishing up someone else's hair, mind you, advertising "no wait". I asked if there was a hair supply nearby and she said it was too far so I wouldn't be able to leave and get any. I drove 45 min from Orlando, so no I wasn't rescheduling. While doing my hair, she made rude comments. Laughing, saying "it's not much" and shouldn't take that many packs but managed to use 8 packs on my hair. The hair lasted a good amount of time and she was a better braider than the previous person I used, so I decided to give her another chance to redeem herself. Well, the 2nd time, she had a friend come and visit and they gossiped about another acquaintance the entire time she was doing my hair. She also mentioned seeing my review saying "it affects my business". Well, if you want a good review, you should be professional at all times. You are a business person. Hence, customer service. The hair lasted a decent amount of time so I said I'd use her again. May 5 was my 3rd and last time there. She finished in an hour tops and was dishonest about my account not being updated. I questioned her saying that on the 2nd appt, she had no issues processing. She had some shady excuse about styleseat. I said ok. She deleted my scheduled appointment on styleseat and entered it manually to take my payment. My guess is because she didn't want me to be able to leave another review. A little gossip, I can handle. Dishonesty, rudeness, and poor craftsmanship, I cannot. My hair was quickly done and it shows with my hair falling out at less than 1 week. It was done Friday afternoon and fell out Thursday morning after work. To note, I also agree with another commenter on styleseat that if you advertise no kids, then you should also not have your kid there. He was there on my first appointment that was in the evening.
