I am extremely late in creating this review, but! Here we go...... I have known Brandon for a long time, as both a friend and an artist. It took me 7 years to book a tattoo with him, not because I was skeptical but because I knew I wanted it to be something meaningful that he could make great. Boy, did he deliver on making this piece beyond great. You see, some experiences we go through in life are extremely hard to share, and if you are anything like me, you try to avoid speaking about them all together. When I lost my grandfather, who was, and will always be, one of the greatest loves of my life. My world was crushed, and it took 5 years to get to a point where I could remember him daily without feeling a drop in my stomach. I wanted something special, that could live on me for the rest of my life...... so he could be remembered. I turned to Brandon to create a tattoo that would do so. I explained our love of fishing together, how he would be the first to say I was a much better fisherman then him, and how he would sing to me while we fished. He created a picture that was straight out of my memories. During the tattoo he was kind and thoughtful. He let me tell the story of my grandfather and get out the heartbreak I have carried around for years. I have always been a firm believer in people grieving in their own ways. Brandon let me do so, and is the shining example of an expert in tattoo therapy. I left feeling peace, like the tattoo on my leg was meant to be there. This tattoo now gives me a way to remember the man who I lost in a beautiful way, that is special and made specifically for the two of us. I will never stop singing Brandon's praises. He's a fantastic artist, who listens to his clients and takes the time to understand why they are getting the piece they are getting. I was so depressed after I had gotten a terrible tattoo at another studio and didnt know what to do or where to go. My coworker referred me to Brandon and im so glad she did. He took his time during our consult to get to know my style and things I liked. I booked my tattoo THAT day because he was super genuine and didnt rush me. He took his time and drew out something personal and unique to me. The day finally came to create the magic. He was very professional, super clean and super talented. He made sure I was good the entire session. I am so happy he created a masterpiece out of the mess the other person made. Jess was absolutely amazing!! Her hard work and dedication show in every tattoo that she does. Multiple family members of mine have her as their artist and I hadn't had the opportunity to get work done by her yet. After todays session, she will be my new artist for sure. As an added bonus she will work with you to make sure you know what you're getting done and will take the time to rework your piece if there is something that you want to change. I really like that the artists have a separate rooms to themselves as well. It provides privacy during your sessions and makes you feel less 'on display' as some shops. I got my FIRST tattoo by Tay Does Tatts and I was super nervous going into the studio because I was terrified it would hurt. I chose a fine line rose on my outer wrist. Tay was so so sweet and made me feel comfortable when we got into her studio. The tattoo was painless and turned out way better than expected!! It's gorgeous and she had a light hand when tattooing. I took her nail class this past weekend and I just can't even believe how great of a teacher she was... my first set I did was absolutely beautiful and I felt very confident the whole duration of the class itself. I don't normally get my nails done but Julia absolutely killed it. The salon is clean and beautiful, musics on point and it is great to watch them grow as a business and expand their talented staff who can do it all, from hair to your toes.
