They give you the option of having the gyro meat placed in a tortilla (no cost), wrap, or pita bread. I chose the pita bread which is a $2.00 upcharge. The platter also comes with a soft drink. Everything was packed neatly in a cardboard box. They also included an extra cup of pickles, Tzatziki sauce, and an orange sauce which tasted kind of like a chipotle ketchup. The sandwich is a little messy, and it might be better to eat wrapped in the foil than to take it out of the foil. The pita bread was very soft and the sandwich was loaded with gyro meat. I really liked the gyro sandwich! It was flavorful and filling. The fries were seasoned well and were good. I didn't care for the orange sauce. It's a bit spicy and I'm not a huge fan of chipotle. It is a nice addition though that I am sure many would enjoy! Food was very good quality, decent sized portions, and a great value. I highly recommend.

I found the shawarma sample to be on the dry side. Ambiance: I will admit I almost didn't go inside, based on the exterior. All the graphics and posters remind me of restaurants on the Detroit border, where they are trying to entice people in, in dubious areas. I get they want people to see the food, but it'd be nice to see more of the interior, which reminds me more of a deli. I sat outside, which is ideal, but there was something about their fence that was giving cemetery. All in all, Hummus Mediterranean Food is a very good place for a quick & healthy lunch!

AMAZING, the owner, Monica was Argentine and so sweet. She puts her soul and passion into the homemade meals and it's like being in Buenos Aires in the middle of Ohio. The fries were medium-cut but tasted like McDonald's fries somehow...not complaining. My Shish tawook was very juicy and flavorful. I've had better rice and pita but these were both quite serviceable and I enjoyed a fairly healthy-feeling meal. Honestly, my true rating is maybe more in-line with a 3.5...but I don't have any super severe criticisms and we had a quite pleasant time overall, so I'll just round up to a 4.
