HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I will give this business zero star for…read moretheir absolutely poor quality of work and unprofessional customer care by the owner. I recently hired the company to clean a house that is going to be on sale soon. The house is pretty much cleared out, newly painted, and staged with a few pieces of furniture with almost no decorations inside. The purpose of the cleaning was specifically addressed when the owner came for an estimate, which was a 'deep cleaning'. At least, I expected to see some shine and sparkle on sinks and faucets. I was told that two cleaning crew came late (it was scheduled at 8 am) and one person left at 1 pm. I found that one remaining lady was working alone (without much of proper materials) until 6 pm, and the house wasn't getting close to where it was supposed to be. I called the owner and explained what was going on. By that time, there was still dust on most of the furniture, ceiling fans were not touched, water marks weren't taken care of, windows weren't cleaned, and stains in the kitchen were not properly removed (and yes, there were more). I took some photos and sent to the owner, and she sent two ladies with cleaning matetials after an hour or so. Now the drama began. They were so loud talking to each other and talking to the owner (as if they were fighting) while they were in the house. They seemed quite incompetent on what they were supposed to be doing. Time passed. I finally had to point out some of the places that need attention so I could have the house back, as there were other things to take care of before the photo session happens in two days. More time passed, and it's 9 pm. The cleaning is not complete. They left after 10 pm with the payment. Next morning, I could see things that should have been done the day before. The morning light even highlighted the dusty spots and stains everywhere and I got the impression that they did not touch most of the furniture with attention. I took photos, sent to the owner, and said that the house does not seem to be cleaned by 'professionals'. The owner said that she does not believe if the photos were legit and made wrongful accusations against me. I told her that I have absolutely no reason to lie to her. When I told her that the work/business should be done with trust between company and client, she texted, "lady, I don't need your opinion." When I asked her about the incomplete job, her response was "what do you want?" Her voice and text messages were rude and there was no sign of apology. I told her that her sincere apology should come first after such a bad, unprofessional service, as I wasn't looking for a discount, refund, or having them over in the house again. If you are wondering about the size of the house, it is just over 2,000 sq ft with fully finished (empty, carpeted) basement with a half bath and small window. Once again, the house is staged for sale with minimum furniture. After dealing with such unprofessional and rude owner, paying $380.00, and being wrongfully accused of sending her "forged pictures", I still have not received any apology from her. At this point, I do not need it. This is the reason I wrote this review to warn people who are looking for home cleaning service in northern VA. Read less (Update) Laundry room was flooded after the cleaning crew left! The house cleaning was horrible enough and I found the basement flooded after my first use of washer since the ladies left. The lady who cleaned the washer did not put the hoses back after cleaning it. Why bother it in the first place? I had to vacuum at least 25 gallons of water!!! What a horrible experience and such a bad company!!!!

That says a lot about her, and her professionalism. I have added a star to my original review for this reason. ____________________________________________________________ Honest review of Busy Bee Cleaning- I read all the glowing 5-star reviews and called Busy Bee to come deep clean my new house. They came and cleaned my house yesterday, and if I'm honest, I'm a bit disappointed. After they left, I found several kitchen cabinets had been missed (I found a squished jelly bean and some bullion cubes in one), several of the window blinds (office, laundry room) had been missed, there was a hair in the upstairs guest bathroom, and the floors had been vacuumed but not mopped (except for the office). Worst of all, there were loads of crumbs in the kitchen drawers. No wonder I have ants! When you clean with a rag, which they did, you can't get into the nooks and crannies, and there were still lots of crumbs in the corners of all the drawers. I realized this as I was putting contact paper in the drawers, and it was not sticking well at the edges.... I pulled it away to see all the crumbs stuck to the paper. As a stickler for good cleaning practices, I can tell you that you MUST vacuum drawers before cleaning with a rag. The reason I hired a service was because I have Lyme disease and moderate arthritis and can't clean as well as I once did. But that does not mean I will settle for a sloppy job. I'm confident they will do better from now on. Read less

I joined a group of neighbors to have our ducts cleaned by Paramount and unfortunately this was not…read morea great experience for us. While I think they did a pretty good job with the actual duct work (although no before/after pics so who knows?) they left a mess behind and after 2 weeks of correspondence with their owner she couldn't admit they did anything wrong and offered no real solution. First the good: Easy to set appointment up, guys showed up on time and completed the work in the time they said it would take. The bad: the guys came in the house with no foot booties on, covered in green spray paint (from painting dumpsters?), and left green marks in several spots on ceilings, walls, and vents, tracked the hose in several spots on my carpet, and left metal shavings near the unit where the hole was cut for service. After we called to voice our concern they did send the crew out the next day to address those, and to their credit the guys were apologetic and did make an effort to clean . However the carpet still has marks and there are several ceiling spots that will need to be touched up with paint. The major complaint was with the vent removal, where they pulled several lines of paint along with those vents from not cutting them first. In some spots the drywall came up with that paint. After we sent pictures to the owner she assured us it was caulk and not their problem. She never recommends caulk to customers however that was the solution to fix our problem, rather than offering a small discount off the $500+ we spent on the job. Luckily for my neighbors we went first and complained immediately as none of them had the same issues of careless vent removal or sloppy work in general. We are in a new build neighborhood where all of these houses were finished about the same time by the same foreman, and 2 of the other houses had used the same painter we did. If that wasn't the case I may have bought in to the owner claiming it was my builders fault, or the painter, but I don't think we have the special house here. While not a huge deal it is frustrating that I will now have to spend my free time patching drywall and repainting several walls/colors and hope I can match with the 2 yr old paint.
