I'd give Lighthouse 10 stars if I could. I don't know where to begin on how thankful I am for this peace of heaven on earth. Being my first time in treatment, I didn't know what to expect or what I had committed myself to but, Lighthouse was there for me every step of the way. From detox to completion of treatment, I received nothing but love, support and respect being as broken as I was. They treated me with compassion, understanding and operated within God's grace while taking care of me every step of the way. Through their help and programming, I was able to not just rehabilitate my health. They helped to rehabilitate my mind. They were able to do for me in 3 months what I was incapable of doing for myself. Because of Lighthouse, I have my life back. My marriage is back on track, my kids have their father back but most importantly I restored my relationship with God during my stay. I couldn't have done this without their help or support. I was failing on my own. Lighthouse made it so that I was able to focus on healing myself from the inside out. Thank you so much for church, gym, yoga, offsite meetings and all the extras like game night and movie night. It was the first time I had done (or was able to do) any of those things sober in YEARS. Thank you so much for the clinical groups, motivational speakers and panels. It opened my eyes to a difference in perspective and understanding when it came to addiction and how much people need to be loved. Truly humbling. A special thank you to Tyler and Teresa for doing such a great job at the facility. Between staff and taking a look around, it really does show how much they care about what they do. Thank you to everyone at intake, the front office and administration. With all your patience and calm demeanors, you make it look easy. Shout out to kitchen staff for all their hard work and making sure everyone there was always well fed (miss the food for sure). Taco Tuesdays were the best! Thank you to the nurses and doctors. You always made sure we had what we needed when we needed it. When it comes to staff, it's extremely difficult for me to pick favorites. They are ALL great. It's apparent that going above and beyond is their standard mode of operation. With that being said... Special thanks to: *Candice. The most bad a$$, straight forward, sweetest person I've ever met. Thank you for your honesty, positivity, caring and being straightforward about everything. *Edmund. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and wisdom when it came to the reality of dealing with real life circumstances. *Mike! FAFO, don't be late! Thank you for the discipline you incorporated into the program and showing how much you cared that we all succeeded. *Austin. Thank you for being so down to earth and taking the awkwardness out of being honest about addiction. I'll never forget the game "In My Addiction." It shined new light on how I wasn't alone in the struggle and helped me to be more open about myself. *Alfonso. Thank you so much for having those real, heart to heart conversations with myself and the group, sharing how the dynamics of our behavior shapes our habits which influences our lives (no loitering!). *Joey. Thank you for all your encouraging, compassionate declamations amongst the groups showing kindness is alive and well. *Rob. Thank you for your constant, positively radiant attitude and the diligence you incorporate into all you do. *Kaylee. Honestly, thanks for being awesome with everything and everyone. *Liz. Sooooo good. Thank you for educating me on my blood pressure and the importance of the numbers and what they signify. Your energy was always fun to be around. *Ronnie. Thank you for always trying to help a brotha' out. *Timmy. Thank you for your patience with me while making sure I was taken care of in detox. *Paddy. Thank you so much for your sweet, caring demeanor and the encouragement you gave me in detox. Lighthouse was truly my home away from home. Their hearts are in everything they do. Thank you tremendously for everything. Keep up the great the work and God bless you. -Samuel Sa read more

It's the biggest mystery how this place gets any good reviews. Since they started taking Medi-Cal most people are here for housing, with no interest in a real program. They hunt you down the get your signature for classes/groups that never happened. 50 people sit around vaping, and chit chatting, witht a leader both giving not a crap, but ensuring we sign that we did a group called like " relapse prevention " when in reality we did absolutely nothing!. But the people staying don't care.... they get free housing for 90 days. so why even push for any recovery. Total, total. Scam. How this is legal is beyond me. read more

The facility was nice. Cup of Joe makes the best coffee in the morning. He's the house manager.

Recovery is best done where you have a chance to plant new roots in rich soil. The Lighthouse embodies this concept. While there you'll have comrades to share and relate with, experienced staff to address your needs, and an excellent facility. The use 12-Step meetings as a core to address addiction. This is factually the number 1 most successful way, if you have any hesitation just look at the numbers. Having staff and visiting members from the 12-step fellowships will give you first-hand detail to what I'm saying. The place has a courtyard-like area with places to mediate, equipment to exercise, and space to decompress. Events are commonplace, youll find yourself getting outside with your team to do meetings, beach days, picnics, gym days. and store runs. Their lasting message to me is, we never know where life will take us next, so take time while youre doing recovery (or anything!) and appreciate the people you have around you. Go ahead and plant new roots at the Lighthouse, you'll be happy you did! read more

This place is extremely helpful. My name is LINO and I completed the light house program but it wouldn't of happened if it wasn't like staff members who show client they really care . One in particular is Erin the crazy lighthouse lady who stands about 5 feat tall and showed me that she really does care by being there after her work day was done to help me out with a little problem I was having. In truth I was a little upset, angry to say the least . Erin took the time to hear me out and calmed me and assured me that everything would be ok . I'm 52 yrs old been an addict for 32 yrs and showed me threw meditations groups and just plain caring that I mattered. I owe my life to her and my way of thinking. By her knowledge and support my life is on a level that I never would have imagined I could reach. Thanks to her and the lighthouse staff members I've got the desire to get my certificate and training in this field of work to help others and continuing to make a difference in others lives thank you to the lighthouse and people like Erin the crazy lighthouse lady read more

This place saved my life so definitely 5 stars. If I want to get technical, the curriculum is a bit stale but from what I hear, that is soon to be addressed and adjusted accordingly. The living quarters are tidy and the staff is pleasant. They are fair with their guidelines and rules to ensure a safe environment fit for healing and growth. The kitchen staff is phenomenal and go above and beyond to ensure a quality diet to their clients, they even accommodated my vegetarian diet. I wasn't exactly the epitome of optimism during my stay here, yet the support staff were both empathetic and sympathetic toward my erratic mood changes and frequent anxiety attacks. They truly go above & beyond to acknowledge you as a capable, and productive individual and you leave here feeling like you have a safety net! (Because you do! Shout out Heidi I've got you on speed dial lol) I am looking forward to where my newfound sobriety will take me. I am healing everyday and I am just so blessed to have found this beacon of hope at the Anaheim LIGHTHOUSE *Special Thanks to Nicole Jose Rosario Sonya Robert May God bless & continue to shine upon you all read more

I just want to do a special shoutout to Heidi for being so active and running the alumni the way she does! I'm also super grateful to the lighthouse for the amazing treatment experience with counseling, therapy, groups, AA panels and the support staff being so amazing! I went todo a 5 day detox. I paid 2,500.00 because i had no insurance. After i paid them, they did my vitals. My blood pressure was high....they refused to treat me. Then instead of refunding me all my money, they charged me 500.00 for being ther only long enough to go through the process of getting signed in. I wasnt there longer then 15min after being signed up,before they wouldnt treat me. This place is a scam and thieves. They dont care about helping people. They care about money! read more

Great treatment center with amazing staff. From the cleaning crew to the councilors. They have people that care. I've had awesome experiences with many of the staff here. There's so many people I could name, but I really want to pay respects to one. My counselor Jesse has gone above and beyond to help me every step of the way. He's been there for me at a 100% with even the most mundane issues. Also, the meals are way better than I expected. And I will say that I've noticed some negative clients, but you only get what you put in. I've seen too many clients expecting results without doing any of the work. That being said, this place truly became a home away from home. There will be no end to how grateful my family and I are for this haven. read more

Overall it was a positive experience for me. The staff and counselors were amazing and very helpful and you can tell that they actually cared about the clientele. I want to thank the lighthouse for helping me get my life back. When I arrived I was emotionally wrecked and received nothing but care and compassion. From the moment I made the call to admissions they worked with me to get me in as soon as possible. I didn't wait more than a few hours for a transportation shuttle to arrive to my home to take me into detox. I want to give a special shout out to my counselor, Melissa who worked tirelessly on my case and with my insurance. And Christine will always have a special place in my heart as well, the yoga classes were my favorite! I'm celebrating 60 days clean and sober today and returned to work officially as of Friday. This is my second review of this detox/residential program. Hey, it must be pretty okay if I chose to come back!! All jokes aside, Support staff is absolutely amazing on the women's side. Unfortunately I couldn't complete my inpatient here for reasons beyond Lighthouse's control. This is where my discharge planner, Chris, comes into play here. When he says he's going to get on the case, consider it done. He made me feel so safe, listened to, and comfortable and I could tell he did absolutely everything in his power to help me transfer smoothly and quickly, as well as communicating and working w my family to find the best fit possible for me. Thank you Chris, I think you deserve a surgeons salary because you truly save lives. read more

Anaheim Lighthouse - Going OUT OF MY WAY to get accepted at Lighthouse and not some other random facility - Rehabilitation Center Near Me - Anaheim, California

The Anaheim Lighthouse was hands down the "light at the end of the tunnel" down a very long dark, windy, twisting, and hopeless journey of addiction. Throughout my crazy travels of using, I went to more than one rehabilitation. The Lighthouse treated me as a human. In terms of curriculum, I learned a ton of invaluable information like life-changing l! Furthermore, the facilitators are super passionate as well as compassionate. How would I expect someone who has not endured similar experiences to get the predicaments I was in? Everyone from Theresa to Jose to Jana to Nicole to Candace to Elizabeth to Unis to Rosario to Edmund to Michelle to Raul to Steve to Johnny -it is a great mixed bag of nuts if you will that comprises the treatment center (Coordinators Director, Doctors, Drivers, Management, Nurses, the Owner, Teachers, Therapists, ETC. in their team of devoted professionals ) Forgive me if I've forgotten anybody because each one is unforgettable ) Thanks be for they literally saved my life, enlightened me, gave back hope and saved my life as angels of a ever loving higher power. I credit first and foremost, but I could not be anymore than proud to be an Alumni! Wholeheartedly thank you LIGHTHOUSE!!! read more

FURTHER. From the brothers i call family now, to the staff that helped us get through these battles, it goes without saying that this place is amazing. To mention a few of the staff from the heavens: Deanna Stacy Vanessa Shannon Theresa Nicole Mike Estel Austin Rich Rick Eugene "HEY YOU GUYS" iykyk And last but NOT LEAST, Robert! And that's just to name a few of the tremendous pieces of the lighthouse puzzle. The type of care they provide is top notch, and they will go over and above to meet everyone's needs. The Lighthouse was there for me when my life had fallen completely apart. The staff is composed of amazing people that understand what it is to hit rock bottom, and they truly care to see us all bounce back. COVID has taken away all of the awesome activities they offered in the past, so be mindful of that; but the program and recovery education there is very solid. Props to the following: Cleaning Staff: Man they never stop, constantly on their grind but always uplifting and kindhearted! This was my first time at an inpatient and can I say it was not what I expected. Everyone from staff to facilities, counselors and therapist were amazing. Everyone made sure I was aware of what was needed and that I was heard and understood. I can say almost every person I encountered here made a huge impression in my life. My counselor Gloria was the perfect fit as she called me on my BS and helped me push forward on things I wanted to hold back on. Heidi and Lissette were facilitators that made a huge impact in my life From the fitness bro Gerry who still motivates me to this day To the staff giving me my meds, Andrew, everyone was there to help and support and in one way or another had some recovery to offer read more

When I decided to get treatment, a nurse gave me two options: Anaheim or Palm Springs. I hate the heat, so I chose to go to the Lighthouse. They got me through my detox comfortably. The food was overall good. My accommodations were in a duplex, and definitely made it feel less like a hospital setting. I got a lot out of the groups, except for one particular group. My favorite part was yoga and spirituality on Sunday with Donna. I would have gladly traded my least favorite group for more yoga or meditation. The staff was accommodating as possible and easy to get along with. The did not make me go to religious sessions I was uncomfortable as a non-Christian. The staff and the drivers are awesome. I want to recognize following people: Amanda, Cynthia, Melissa, Rebecca, Penny, Candace, Vanesa, Jessica, Jaime Jana, Michelle, Jenna, Leanna, Heidy, Teresa, Carla, Tom, Sonia (all the delicious food!) Donna, Eddie, Andrea, Charles, Jose, Robert, Will, and Noah. All of these people showed that they cared, and were tremendous in the transition to sobriety. I would highly recommend if you feel you've lost control of your life, and need help getting it back. read more

Anaheim Lighthouse is great! They have an awesome recovery program that saved me. The group meetings, counselors, therapists, and staff in general were patient, kind, helpful and supportive. I would like to thank Melissa (my counselor), Vanessa (my therapist), Jerry for the gym sessions, Christine for yoga, The beading lady (I apologize I forgot her name) but she was wonderful! Heidi for her positivity, counseling and hugs, all the staff that worked in the houses: chefs, medicine, and taking care of all of us who were very demanding, sometimes or scared and nervous. Thank you for your patience And lastly my driver Jose D. who was the first person I met (he was the driver who picked me up). He made me feel calm and comfortable.
