I found OC Comprehensive Care online when I was looking for a way to help with my neck and hand pain. Working in Construction. I've tried many therapy sessions creams medications etc. The Doctors at OC Comprehensive Care Really Listen to your Issues and I must say thank you to all the Staff especially Eli the Office Manager as well as Dr. Wagner! They have continued to help me manage my pain and here I am still in the construction field with my Pain Well Managed! Thank you Guys for Genuinely Caring! Miles M.

    #1 Clinic for All.
    Bryan L.

Was a former long time patient here before all the name changes and with all the different prescribers I was always treated with respect; I was also given more than enough time to explain my issues in detail instead of a "stop n go" visit like previous doctors did prior to OCCC. I never left the office w/a bad taste in my mouth or "I should've said this or that" feeling afterwards other than the last visit I had prior to finding a new clinic to go to for anxiety issues. I started seeing a new dr. w limited success but touched all the other issues out; I came back to OCCC for help going through an opioid detox for heroin during my short lived "blissful" (he said ironically) opioid phase. There is always that underlying anxiety/stress behind my OP problem and w/out my benzos and other comfort meds staying focused on my main priorities in life start to take over and become completely overwhelming and uncomfortable. The Suboxone rx'd to me got rid of all uncomfortability related to the heroin but did not provide any sense of anxiety relief. OCCC is the best multi-treatment clinic who's staff will take you seriously and not assume you're pretending you're in pain until they see lab or CT scan results; from the front staff at reception to Eli the manager to the doctors everything operates at your pace not solely the "almighty doctor" who's time you're waiting if you don't ask or answer the right questions at the right time. Every person working cares about anyone walking through the doors.

I have been receiving treatment for years at OC Comprehensive Care. I have seen all their nurse practitioners and Dr. Wagner. They have all been treating me very well. My pain is well managed and they are very knowledgable about my condition. Diet with exercise and side effects of my medication are discussed every visit including other alternative interventions. The waiting time is always 30 mins or less on AVERAGE. I have referred friends and relatives to this clinic and they are ALL SATISFIED with the service. Thank you again!

    Clean and professional!

In my teenage years and my early twenties I had a severe addiction to short acting opiates. Mostly OxyContin. I was also prescribed 6mg of Xanax daily for the majority of my life. I was dropped from my provider and left in a dire situation. I was familiar with Dr. B as I had been following his content for years and had used several of his videos as teaching aids. I never thought that I would get the chance to ACTUALLY work with him. I'll forever be grateful for the care and compassion of Dr. B and his treatment team. I've never met anyone as knowledgeable about addiction, pharmacokinetics, and human behavior as this man. He's not just intelligent either. He's extremely kind and has an amazing bedside manner. Meeting him was a surreal experience for me. It's like meeting one of your heroes. I am so used to being treated like a second-class citizen and having my opinions and experience dismissed. This was absolutely not the case here. It was completely different. I had recently titrated down to 4mg-5mg daily from 6mg of Xanax. I arrived in California with no medication. I met with Dr. B and his team at Zephyr Medical Group. After an evaluation he said; "I have a sneaking suspicion that I can stabilize you on 1mg Klonopin T.I.D. I would've doubted anyone else. However, I trusted Dr. B and agreed to his plan. At this point I was at the height of benzodiazepine withdrawal. I was on day two with no medication and I looked like the walking dead. Despite my prescription being written the pharmacy downstairs was unable to fill it. I was able to get ahold of Dr. B's assistant Nichole (who is an amazing human being and a large part of this company's success) who relayed that information to Dr. B. I was able to speak with the P.A.'s who tried to find another pharmacy CLOSE BY for me to pick up my medication. I got to the pharmacy only to be told that I would have to wait 24 hours as it was a controlled medication. I could not wait 24 hours. I called Nichole back in a state of panic. She was able to calm me down and assured me that Dr. B would fix this and was on his way to a pharmacy. She said he would be in touch in 30 minutes. Sure enough, he was! He PHYSICALLY left his office and drove 45 minutes away (to a compounding pharmacy he works with) and informed them that I would be coming and explained my situation. He was actually going to deliver the meds to me IN PERSON! Which would've been another 45 minutes out of his way. This type of stuff never happens. Especially to a lowly methadone patient. I don't care who you are, this type of care is rarely seen (if ever) and deserves to be recognized. I'm not joking when I say that I thought that last Uber ride to the pharmacy might actually be my last. That's the severity I'm talking about. Since I've been here, Dr. B has met with me several times and is constantly checking in to make sure that I'm doing alright. The way that he does things is far different and much more personal than anything I'VE experienced or anything I've even SEEN. He believed in me when I wasn't sure that I could believe in myself. Of course he was right. I've stabilized on 3mg of Klonopin. Significantly lower than the 6mg of Xanax AND I'm getting better medication coverage. I don't have that horrible feeling in between doses either. I'll never forget the care I've received here. Dr. B is not just an amazing and talented doctor he's a wonderful human being. He surrounds himself with people that aren't just knowledgeable but people that actually CARE. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity to work with Dr. B and his team and for the personalized care that he delivered. He's one of the good ones. He understands addiction and he won't judge you. I don't believe you'll find anywhere NEAR the level of expertise and compassion that I've found here. Thank you Dr. B! Thank you Nichole! I will never forget the kindness that you both have shown me and others LIKE me.

I was an executive professional using Xanax, for 10+ years straight every day taking 15-20mg a day. I also drank a lot of alcohol and for about 2-3 years I added Oxy to my addiction that I had no idea it was laced with fentanyl and morphine. (Oxy was introduced to me when I learned I had two collapsed disc in my neck). Long story short, when I went to get help my PCP referred me to Dr. B because my PCP actually attended one of Dr. B's events. My PCP even told me that "Dr. B is the best in Orange County, CA." I was already going through detox hard so before I saw Dr. B, I found another doctor that I thought could help me a lot faster like that very day. Medication wise it felt like that doctor stripped everything away too quickly and they were also changing my psych dosages because I was getting really weird symptoms like body jerking/horrific muscle spasms, brain felt like it was shaking or trembling, skin felt like it was on fire at times, seeing flashing lights and the terrible list goes on with the highest anxiety I have ever felt (anxiety, and panic attacks was how I got introduced to Xanax by the way) When I met Dr. B, he knew exactly what to do, knew exactly what I was going through. I honestly believe, God put Dr. B in my life to help SAVE my life. I live a completely different life now, and I have over seven months sober. I can't thank Dr. B enough. Anytime I'm with Dr. B, I feel safe, and I know that he understands me and passes no judgment against me. I highly recommend other doctor's, physicians to listen and follow Dr. B's ways of thinking and ways of treatments. The world would be in a much better place if there were more Dr. B's out there lol.. I have gone through several years of doctors/physicians/ER doctors/ anyone who worked in medicine treating me like I was nothing , I didn't matter, I'm a bum, trash etc., but there were several times where I really wanted help and these doctors cast a judgment on me really fast seems like I had a label on my forehead and never got the help I needed. again thank you Dr. B. You are a miracle and I am so grateful for you. And I know I am not the only one he has helped, this man I know has helped probably more than thousands of people in his lifetime so far!

Dr. Erik Perterson has no business being in charge of anyone's care. He is unprofessional, rude,…read moreand condescending. He obviously has a God-complex and is egotistical and berating. Sadly he deals with the one of the most vulnerable populations who many times doesn't have anyone to advocate for them. I had an incident with him almost a year ago when I was advocating for my brother who I am a conservative to. To describe how appalled I was with his unacceptable behavior is simply an understatement. I wrote a letter to Dr. Alba, owner of all PNS's detailing this experience and now that I am looking at the website I see he is still in charge of the Santa Ana clinic. This is both disappointing and disturbing. Dr. Alba! Don't you want more for your clientele? Don't you want better reviews and positive experiences for this vulnerable population? Why did you never respond to my letter I addressed to you? Are you not here to help or just to make money and move on? Do better! Get this horrible man out of your office. He does not and will never represent your office well. For reference, I attached a photo of Dr. Peterson. Ewww.

On August 13th, I had an appointment with my NP, Sandra, at 1:40 PM. I arrived 17 minutes early…read more(1:23 PM) at the Costa Mesa office, where I've always been seen. I sat in the lobby waiting, only to be told at my appointment time (1:40) that I was actually scheduled in Santa Ana. If they had noticed this at check-in, I would have made it to Santa Ana on time. I immediately called Santa Ana while driving over, explained the situation, and was told there was a 15-minute grace period. My GPS said I'd arrive at 1:53, which was within the window. I was frustrated they had scheduled me in another city despite my repeated requests for Costa Mesa only (I deal with severe pain when driving, which they know). When I arrived at Santa Ana, parking was confusing, the lot was blocked off in places, and there was no clear direction from the office. I ended up sprinting -- literally running in a dress and heels -- through the building trying to find their suite, since signage was tiny and office name missing from directory. I finally checked in at 1:57 -- just 2 minutes over. One of the receptionist started checking me in, but when I was about to scan my copay the receptionist in the back interrupted and with a tone said they couldn't take me because I was late. I explained I had called ahead, that the delay was due to their mistake, and that I only needed vitals taken. She reiterated I can't be seen and asked if I'd like to speak with the manager. I replied yes. That's when I met Anthony Topete (the office manager). From the start, when I explained the situation, he was dismissive and rude. He constantly interrupted me to repeat, "you were 2 minutes over, no exceptions." I asked if he had spoken to Sandra directly, and he brushed me off. He told me to wait while he confirmed. I then sat in the lobby for 45 minutes waiting on him. When he finally came back, he looked at me and, in a sarcastic tone, said, "you're still here?" He then claimed Sandra had refused to see me. When I pointed out I had just witnessed another patient be checked in 20 minutes late and even allowed to use the bathroom, he became defensive, denied it, and aggressively asked, "you don't know that. how do you know that?" I told him I saw and heard it happen. He stammered before saying it was "against protocol" and again repeated, "no exceptions." and was upset with the receptionists. To make things worse, when I asked for his boss's contact information, he handed me his own card -- with his extension on it. The most telling part? At my very next appointment with Sandra on August 20th, she confirmed exactly what I suspected. She agreed that the appointment would've been quick and told me directly, "yeah, we just needed to take your vitals." Which means Anthony lied to my face when he claimed Sandra wouldn't see me. I am always early to appointments, but this time I was penalized for their scheduling error, and then treated with zero compassion. Instead of accountability, Anthony Topete dismissed me, gaslight me, and lied to cover himself. This office manager sets a terrible tone for patient care. Patients deserve far better.
