In short After one visit we already appreciate the quality…read moreof care. We love the doctor and the staff. If you use a wheelchair, this rickety old building kinda blows. In long After having a stroke last year, my lovely bride loses her voice occasionally. We came in for an eval and followed the signs to accessible parking. No elevator. Dr Litvack is on the third floor. Up the ramps we push, and over the catwalks and through the maze. Okay. We're not TOO late, and they honor the appointment. After a few minutes, the friendliest person in Snohomish County calls us back. Kayleigh must be high in the running for friendliest statewide, too. She goes through all the check-in stuff and she and my wife are chatting like old friends. Dr Litvack comes in, warm and attentive. Great listener, thoughtful in her explanations. She finishes the eval, changes an rx, makes a referral to speech therapy. Everything feels very expert and assuring. We have a follow-up, and I'm not looking forward to that ramp, but it's great to have her on the care team.

Needless to say we aren't tree huggers....it would probably kill us. Shots are quick, appointments are easy. If you're in need of an allergist...check them out. Becky Epperson (ARNP) and Krista are an awesome team, super easy going and compassionate. Waiting room is clean, cozy, and full of magazines, water, and mints.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HEAR INC. I am a huge fan of great customer service and Hear Inc delivers! My…read morestory is an interesting one as my Father In-Law (Dave) has had a rapid decline in his hearing making it difficult for him to hear anyone or anything. I had seen an ad in the Times Colonist featuring two ladies at Hear Inc. in Brentwood Bay and Saanichton. I called and explained the problems and was so happy to get an appointment booked quickly. Dave had already had a bad experience with a large company in Langford who told him he would need to wait 5 months for hearing aids - so it was great to get a second opinion from Hear Inc so quickly. We met with Donna(the Owner of Hear Inc) who tested the ears, made recommendations, supported us with paperwork, set Dave up with temporary hearing aids that worked right now, taught us how to change the batteries, insert them in the ears and more. At the end of the appointment - THAT SAME DAY, Dave walked out able to hear again!!! That is amazing! I took him home where he met his wife and mine and we all started to chat. I asked his wife to say a number between 1 and 100 - she said 50 in a quiet voice and Dave heard her clearly for the first time in months and said 50 out loud to the group of us. How did you heart that she said? "I can hear again - I am wearing hearing aids right now" Dave said. They couldn't believe it. Me neither - we received Service Excellence that was well beyond our expectations and I want to yell it from the rooftops! The bottom line: If you need hearing aids, contact Hear Inc and get proper hearing support from the best professionals who know their stuff. Donna - you were fantastic and I want to tell everyone about Hear Inc. Great customer service isn't all that common anymore and I can't imagine any company doing a better job than you did! Dave is noticeably smiling again, with a bounce in his step because he can hear again - thanks to Hear Inc. BTW, hear Inc provides many other hearing services which I wasn't surprised to hear - they are awesome!

I was a reluctant customer not only because it was difficult to admit to being hard of hearing, but…read morealso because I was suspicious of being oversold on a pair of hearing aids. What I found and experienced was professionalism, friendliness, and an excellent product for my deteriorating hearing. In addition, when an update, cleaning, and some minor repairs were needed the work was done promptly and at a reasonable cost. I live on Pender Island, and anyone who has the pleasure of living on one of the Outer Gulf Islands knows the challenges (and cost) of having to travel to Victoria for service. Donna sets up at the Pender Health Clinic every other week and I believe that she also visits Mayne and/or Galiano Islands. When I've needed new batteries or had a minor problem with my hearing aids I can access Donna's service 5 minutes from my home. Not to detract from the national companies that have offices in Victoria, but I prefer to support a local, independent business. Donna is a professional audiologist and the owner of this small company and I am more than happy with my hearing aids, now 5 years old, and Donna's service.

After a phone conversation with the offices of this practice regarding the unnecessary blood test…read more Which was 2 test last year (after stateing would be going to Medicare in 4 months only needing 4 months of refile approval) was denied and then promptly requiring7 test this time and a mandatory office visit for a prescription refile. Wow that's putting it to us. As we noted the cost would be more than the prior times at 700.00. Did our own blood test thru healthonelabs.com 99.00 When asked why a in person visit was needed as the blood work would be done. It was said quality service. I mentioned more like you want the money, going there in person was not necessary, but would be in order to collect the fees. I was told you can always go to SEAMAR. As it was cheaper and they would do refiled without a visit. Well that was strange reply. As I'm sure if I had never been there they would in fact not do so. What she was implying was that they have lower standards. Which was no even close to what not questions was about. She was just not going to admit that a policy of there's was in fact a way of making money. And if you cant a afford it then your welcome to go else where. Susan's words. This place is about there way or high way. We wont be using them when it is time to assign a practinure to new Medicare policy. There are other doctors that are part of Medicare supplement programs in anacortes that are not part of anacortes family practice.

Inside Anacortes Family Medicine, the staff is very nice and helpful. The front desk helps with anything you need. The nurses are great, and the doctors tend to run mostly on time. I've rarely had to wait too long - there are exceptions, but emergencies do come up. The clinic is a part of Island Hospital, and they are only a few blocks away from the Island Hospital ER. This is good because sometimes situations call for an ER visit, and the doctors have referred me down there on a handful of occasions throughout my life. Since they are affiliated with Island Hospital, they have good access to specialists for situations calling for one, as well as special testing done in a lab. They use the lab at Island Hospital. There is not one inside the clinic. There is an urgent care facility housed in the same building as Anacortes Family Medicine, and if Anacortes Family Medicine cannot fit you in to see a doctor, the urgent care can - there just might be a bit of a wait. This is very convenient. I highly recommend Anacortes Family Medicine!
