It also took quite a while to get responses, and I often had to call multiple times before receiving updates or answers to my questions. If I didn't reach out myself, I usually didn't receive any status updates. There was also an issue where an incorrect service document was filed with the court, and as of now, it still doesn't appear to have been corrected. That added to the uncertainty and made it difficult to know where my case stood. While everything ultimately moved forward, I think the experience would be much less stressful if there were more proactive communication, clearer explanations of the process, and timely updates for clients especially those using paralegal services for the first time. They were on the cheaper end so I guess if you're looking for affordable just know what to expect.
